This is entirely reminiscent of John Derbyshire debating universalist libertarians (which is really the frame Sargon seems to argue from) who whined that a border wall would be "un-free". His response? "Why can't we have libertarianism in one country first?" He cited the fact that Hispanics vote for more programs and a larger government, they care about that far more than 'harsh talk about immigration' which the GOPe decided was the reason they weren't getting the Hispanic vote.

I guess Sargon will just have to watch his solutions never take hold like the National Review crowd did. That demoralized them.

Liberal critiques of race realism seem to think ceding some freedom to return to normal demographics as the US, and Western Europe have done before (operation wetback for example), is worse than having diversity consume your freedom forever. I mean, Sargon's solution is some ridiculous tabula rasa idea that we can convince clannish groups to love liberalism. With no proof. Cuckservatives believe the same, also without proof and have gained absolutely nothing from it.

I know Sargon says he is against mass immigration, but never on what basis. This is important since any civic nationalist critique of mass immigration is rather fragile because values go out of style or get reinvented. Leftists claim Western Civilization means 'openness to the other' after all because that is how they have redefined our values. Without any acknowledgement of demographics or race, this sounds like a trite soundbyte rather than a real stand.

I have learned via DMs with Jared Taylor that he has offers to debate Sargon on these issues but received no reply. I dont think Sargon intentionally ignored it but sadly I have some reason to think Sargon is too cowardly to face Taylor since he has scurried away from every other luminary like Andrew Joyce or the TRS guys, offers he could not have claimed to miss. I can see why too, he basically just spewed standard cuckservative non-white outreach as his solution.

Moreover this position makes no sense if you grant psychometric racial differences, which sargon said shouldnt matter, as IQ is hardly the only measurable mental difference. And even if that all werent true, there is no way yet discovered to pump new memes into non-whites. Even conservative blacks who don't think racism is a big issue in the US think the Democrat part is better for black people. So the reason why we have these racial political divisions isn't even known.

I mean we are talking about the very real possibility of mental differences between the races, so unless universalism finds a way to deal with that this is a stupid solution.

He also claimed the unifying identity in America is freedom? Freedom was part of it... but so was race... why be surprised that when you bring in clannish groups it dies. So really you either stand for some authoritarianism to return to stable demographics or lose freedom forever to Brazil De Nuovo

Also, Vilhelm, that is also unstable. Not all immigration competes with the working class. And if Sargon instead says he would apply this standard to any class... well he has a dry economic argument ahead of him (which is not likely to inspire people to action)...and he'd have de facto white nationalism anyway. It would mean he really is just scared of being racist.

Besides, a better system imo would be an ethnostate which preserves the demographic balance but has no issues with smart people coming in to work on new developments. That's what Singapore does. Singapore also recognizes that intelligent foreigners can bend politics to their will more easily than lots of dumb foreigners so it takes steps to prevent that.

A bizarre claim when the UK doesnt have a free market, especially with the NHS which is what they are most proud of as a nation it seems. I can see why RM thinks free market economics are an English thing, but not all English agree on them. As such English values are whatever the English agree upon. Same with Western Civ and Whites (or anyone else who inhabits Western Civ, which is the problem in my opinion, values are subject to demographics like everything else as well as differences in power among groups, groups with more power can implement their ideas into institutions or law more easily if unimpeded while less powerful groups rely more on numbers and solidarity). My home town, the town I remember anyway, is basically now an all white suburb fenced in by changing demographics in the city proper. The people who live there go to another whiter town to have fun. Do they sound free?
