PRE-SETUP:
**REQUIREMENTS: You need a Vita/PSTV on firmware 3.65 or below**

INSTALL HENKAKU:
- (3.60 ONLY) HOW TO INSTALL HENKAKU: Visit https://henkaku.xyz from the built-in web browser on your PS Vita. You must do this every time you reboot the console–that is, every time you turn the console off and on again

- (3.65 AND ABOVE) HOW TO INSTALL H-ENCORE: Visit https://github.com/TheOfficialFlow/h-encore and follow the instructions.

- (3.65 OR BELOW) HOW TO INSTALL HENKAKU ENSŌ: https://enso.henkaku.xyz/ this is the first real CFW for the vita as you will no longer need to install HENKAKU every time you turn off your vita.

SD2vita:
Merge: mount the microSD as uma0 and then copy everything from ux0 to it

[INSTALLING HOMEBREWS, GAMES, UPDATES, DLCS AND MORE]

(HENkaku) After installing Henkaku go into MolecularShell on your Vita and press Select to start your FTP server, then go into your FTP client on PC (Filezilla is recommended: https://filezilla-project.org/) and type the address in the address bar. Transfer the files to either the ux0:/ root folder or any folder inside that. Inside MolecularShell/Vitashell you can press X over a .VPK file to install it. .VPK files can be deleted from the system after insalling.

(h-encore) After having installed HENkaku via h-encore, you should install VitaShell for better access to your Vita's files.


Note: Some Homebrews require extended permissions in order to install which are locked by default to prevent bricking from malicious code. Make sure you download your files from verified and safe sources! Some of these safe homebrews will require you to enable unsafe homebrew which can be done by pressing start inside MolecularShell and enabling Unsafe Homebrew.

It's recommended that you install Vitashell first (get the latest version here: https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/VitaShell/releases/latest) so you can use its USB connection function which allows you to transfer files directly from your PC to your Vita. Inside VitaShell press Start and change Select Button from FTP to USB and then press select after connecting your Vita to your PC through USB.

The ur0:/ partition on the Vita 1000/2000 has 2.5/1.5gb of free space that can be used to store files. You can transfer and play PSP games, PSP homebrews and PS1 games for Adrenaline and ROMs for Retroarch emulators inside ur0:/

Plugins can usually be installed by transferring the files into ux0:tai/ or ur0:tai folder, you can create that folder by pressing triangle inside MolecullarShell/VitaShell. Add the plugin to ur0:tai/config.txt or ux0:tai/config.txt into the proper section. Refer to the plugin's instructions for a correct installation.

Note: If spoofing is currently working it can be enabled inside Molecular Shell by changing the Spoofed version option to the latest firmware available. This will allow you to sign into PSN, access the PS Store and use online features in games and apps(you still won't be able to play 3.60+ games). There's also a chance you might get banned but no reports of that have been made so far. Keep in mind that spoofing might be patched anytime by Sony.

[PSP and PS1]

PSP and PS1 games can be played through ARK 2(no PS1 sound) or Adrenaline. If you're on 3.60 Henkaku it's recommended that you use Adrenaline instead of ARK 2 as it has more functions, better compatibility and plays PS1 games with sound. If you're on 3.60+ try out the method listed below for installing ARK 2 bubble.

Install adrenaline:

Q. Is there anyway I can buy or download content from the Playstation Store if I'm not on the latest firmware?
A. Updating to 3.65 HENkaku Ensō will let you buy and download files from the Playstation Store (2018-04-18). Otherwise, if you own a PS3, you can buy your content from the store or website and transfer it using the Content Manager. If you want to download a PSP or PS1 game that denies compatibility from it's store page, you can install it using a PS3 as well.

Q. I've purchased some PS1 and PSP games from PSN, but Sony won't let me play them on my Vita even though they work on my PSP. Is there anyway I can get them on my Vita?
A. If it appears in your download list, a majority of the time, if you own a PS3, you can use the Content Manager to transfer the titles to the Vita. For the few titles that can't be transferred using this method or if you only own a PSP, you can use Vita-idu and the pastebin guide in the [Other] Section.

Q. Whats the difference between the Vita, Vita Slim and Playstation TV/Vita TV? Which one is the best?
A. The Vita TV is by far the cheapest, and allows for multiple players during remote play or in certain emulators, can use USB as memory card. Vita 1000 has a nicel OLED screen and internal storage ur0:(2.5gb) can be used to store files and games for PSP, PS1 and Retroarch emulators, Vita 2000 has better battery life and ur0: partition can also be used(1.5gb). Q. What do I do with my downloaded VPKs after I've installed them?
A. Once a vpk file for a homebrew or dumped game is installed, you can delete the remaining vpk file without losing the game itself.

Q. How do I backup my DLCs using QCMA?
A. DLCs for owned games and DLCs installed using Maidumptool for mai dumped games are transferred along with the game with QCMA. For Vitamin DLCs those are stored inside "addcont_plain" folder inside ux0:/ and need to be backed up separetedly.

Q. I just got an error (C2-12828-1) after installing a game and the game won't start, how do I fix this?
A. These are some of the possible solutions:
1- sce_modules
- Check if your game needs the correct sce_module files on the internet
- Download the sce_module files: http://www117.zippyshare.com/v/p4WJhw5D/file.html
- Add the files to your game's sce_module inside, for example: ux0:/app/PCSB00000/sce_module[files here]
- If you can't find any info about your game try different modules
2- Disable plugins:
- Try disabling your plugins one by one or the entire folder altogether
3- Other options:
- Try reinstalling the game
- Try a different dump
- Try rebooting and rebuilding database after going into Safe Mode(Turn off the Vita then press and hold the R button, PS button and Power button for 5 seconds to activate Safe Mode)

Q. I just got an error (C2-2004-6) and my game couldn't save/lost all my savedata, how do I fix this?
A. If you get the infamous save error (C2-2004-6) and your game can't save and/or if you lost all your savedata you can fix it by following these steps:
1: Change the Time Format to 12-Hour Clock
2: Backup and delete "ux0:\user\00\savedata_backup\list.dat" file
3: Create a folder named "list.dat" Example "ux0:\user\00\savedata_backup\list.dat\"
You can recover your savedata at "Ux0:/user/00/savedata_org'

Q.Can I format my vita card then ftp my ux0 to save time
A. Yes be sure to back up your saves first.

Q.Where should I put my plugins?
