  1. Dreams in May Explosions and Thunder reign within the ships walls. Heartless are starting to overflow the ship.
  2.
  3. Office:
  4. With the combined efforts of all three of them, the remainder of the Heartless had begun to cease appearing. There were only three left. They looked to one another, and hopped atop each other, forming a tower of three tall.
  5.
  6. With a swirl of darkness, they began to change, and reform into a Neoshadow.
  7.
  8. The Neoshadow charged, aiming for. . .----!
  9.
  10. Ahkeem.
  11.
  12. Luna would roll along the ground as the last batch of Shadows merge together to create something wholly new and somewhat terrifying. More humanoid than she was expecting, given that this is her first known encounter with Heartless. However, with a recovery into a crouch as she springs to her feet to stand, Luna would take this moment to try to cut off the Neoshadow's charge in perhaps the most aggressive way she can think of at this moment-
  13.
  14. --by pressing her right foot against the end of one of the desks. With a primal growl that manages to escape from the depths of her vocal chords, a bit deeper than her normal voice, she'd then put every bit of strength she had into it to try to time the kick and slide the desk either infront of the Neoshadow's way - or crush it against the wall, as her entire body seems to burn with the sheer exertion and concentration running through her system at that moment.
  15. ? ? ? ! reeled her arm back almost effortlessly, holding her blade with the slightest of ease. With a dash forward, the long blade elongated, released with a firm cut. It tore into the walls of the Training Room, and was brought right back towards Seth, with the complete intent of knocking him away.
  16. [ - Used To Be - ] Shanx || The tremendous force of the Big Body Heartless nearly caused Shanx to get knocked backward. If that had happened, maybe he would have been better off. After all, how could someone conceivably fight such a colossus? To it, Shanx and Zephyr were nothing more than mere toys for it to play with. If anything, a more sound strategy would be to retreat and attempt to gather help from more seasoned Crusaders.
  17.
  18. *CLINK*
  19.
  20. Rather than allowing himself to be moved, he stabbed his sword against the ground to keep himself in place. Once the tremor ceased, Shanx looked forward with an intense fire burning behind his eyes. It was hard to tell amongst all the confusion, but some of these people that lay across the floor were still among the living. There was not a gurantee of their safety should he leave now. That is why he could not run. It was impossible.
  21.
  22. "I'm going to fight for as long as I can...Can you try and see if you can get some of the people still alive out of here?"
  23.
  24. Zephyr, his fellow shipmate, was who he was talking to. Based on how chaotic the ship was, Shanx made the assumption that there were problems more than just the engine room. 'Finding help' was impossible for the time being, and he hoped that Zephyr realized that too. The only way anyone was getting saved from this thing's titanic wrath was if the two of them worked together.
  25.
  26. "Please?"
  27.
  28. He tightened flipped his sword to be in an upright position, gripping its hilt tightly with both hands, and began to make his slow approach. Though Zephyr had attacked first, Shanx hoped it would go for him just because he was well within its range.
  29. Dreams in May
  30. Office:
  31. Luna slips, given that desks usually aren't bolted to the ground. However, her assault was a good distraction.
  32.
  33. The Neoshadow is focused on her now.
  34.
  35. Ahkeem Successfully dove into the room with minimal damage considering his shoulder had been slashed. Groaning with pain; he'd answer Nia immediately "My shoulder could use some looking at it." He wasn't any good to anyone fighting right now so he'd prop himself up on the back wall with his hand covering his bloody shoulder.
  36.
  37. Without a moment's rest Ahkeem was under attack by the Neo-Shadow. He just couldn't catch a break, but it was time to act. Thinking on his feet he'd get up quickly, and flip Magdalene's desk using it as a bastion of sorts to block its initial attack. If it continued to charge at him Ahkeem would dodge accordingly as best he could.
  38. || Shockin' || Makoto Kusanagi curled his hand into a fist. [ Dammit... ]
  39. Prince Lucas doing the most that he could at this point with a meaningless weapon he suddened heard a bang and parts of the walls in a obvious area of the Training room meet the ground it was another individual and an unknown one at that crashing through it and attempting to charge for Seth with instinct he went to save him carrying his wooden sword and swing towards the unknown attempting to send it back from where it started it's movement.
  40. Nia lifted two brows upward, easing back as the remaining trio began to move in a way she didn't expect. They... merged? She'd seen creatures like this before, but until now she'd never actually witnessed any of their abilities. The newly-formed creature seemed much more imposing than a few small ones and before she could form a decent conclusion, it'd already leapt to attack, aiming right at the new arrival--only to find itself distracted and its attention shifted to a stumbled Luna.
  41.
  42. That was a nice opening though. Nia took aim once more, placing one foot forward and inhaling deeply as she prepared another try. "Aero!" came in unison with the girl's weapon arm arcing forward, as if she were throwing a baseball, with her intent being to hit the thing with both a gust of wind and perhaps the hard end of the yo-yo itself. Provided, of course, it'd be accelerated enough by a strong current to do some real damage.
  43.
  44. Strange. Now that she was actually doing things, Nia felt a lot less anxious than she did earlier. It was still there to be sure, but the predominant thought on her mind was to protect these precious new friends of hers.
  45. Luna had done a fumble, it seems; a situation that she wasn't expecting. It seems that in all of her passion for trying to deal out what she could, she stumbled in her attempts to shove the desk forwards and topped forwards to the ground. Despite this, though, Nia had her back; the usage of Aero would presumably knock the Neoshadow off-course or unbalance it towards her. And with both her and the Neoshadow off-balance, this could be a bit of a tumble.
  46.
  47. So she pulled a page out of her fight with Annabelle the day previous, catching herself with her hands against the ground as she shoulder-rolled forwards with her fumbling momentum on her right side. With the Neoshadow coming in, she'd then swing her legs up into the air as they moved to slam into the oncoming Heartless' shoulders, closing her thighs inwards like a deadly weapon to try to hook its neck with her feet. Using both of her hands pushed outwards, she'd twist her body position, and try to promptly break the Neoshadow's neck with some good ol' thunderthigh strangling methods and a sudden movement to set it ajar.
  48.
  49. In the case that this didn't work out as planned, she'd try to release it to at least unbalance the Neoshadow even more and fling it off to the side perhaps.
  50. Zephyr already pegged Shanx for one of those bleeding heart types. While he's not against combining strengths to defeat a overwhelming enemy, he didn't see the point of trying to drag these people out of here in a situatiion like this. It'd be better if they just defeated the monster first.
  51.
  52. "..Whatever."
  53.
  54. At the same time, he can't resist someone who sounds so pleading. Zephyr clicks his tongue in annoyance and sets about his task of inspecting the bodies that litter the engine room -- checking their heartbearts to see if they're still alive before dragging them outside into the hall. He was not strong enough nor did he care enough to take them all the way to the infirmary, but at least they would be out of immediate danger.
  55.
  56. This would take some time, so hopefully Shanx could stand his ground in the meanwhile. He'll have to get creative when he joins the fight, seeing as how his slingshot was useless against a creature this massive.
  57. ? ? ? ! swiftly and nigh effortlessly dances through the crashing lightning. From one spot to the other, she is but a blear to the untrained eye. Magdalene could keep up visually, maybe, but could she compete to this seasoned dark mage? Only time would tell. A hand unscrews one of the bottles she had on her person, and from it, a torrent of darkness followed. It's sweeping forward in a horrible miasma that threatened to swallow the woman whole and leave her riddled in burns from the sickly touch it offered.
  58.
  59. "Oh, Maggie-dear. You're going to have to try harder than that."
  60. The Neoshadow grips Luna's thigh with a taut, hard grip. It is the evolved form of its counterpart, the regular Shadow - it would not be so easily toppled over by this girl by the looks of it. It's hand pushes into the ground, restraining her from quite literally busting its neck, and when she does try to send it flying, he'll carry her along with it. The momentum is shifted in its favor, and with the hold it took to her, gets the last swing, attempting to send the girl flying into a nearby wall. It had enough force to send her crashing hard.
  61.
  62. When its all said and done, its beady yellow eyes zero in on Nia. It remembers the work of her aerokinesis from earlier. She pushed it into that sticky situation just now.
  63. Selena Solaris was struggling to get herself standing using the wall, trying to ignore her hunger and her body's cry of rest. This was no time for that though. Unknown enemies were attacking...enemies she sorta wanna capture and examine but that could wait if she's lucky. The mage in training pointed her staff at the creatures with shaking hands. <I-I can do this. I spent all night for this...I can't fail!> She screamed with what little energy and determination her body could produce as she attempted to cast the spell. "Blizzard!!!"
  64. Big Body; Engine appears to ready itself for who would happen to be its opponent, and just as it seems to be getting ready for the battle, it makes a sharp, surprisingly fast turn, then sets its sights upon the engine. The mechanized menace would raise its arms up and proceed to clog the engine with its body.
  65.
  66. The gears are stopping.
  67.
  68. The coolant is reaching.
  69.
  70. The engine was hitting critical levels, and the beeping became more eminent.
  71.
  72. What- - -
  73.
  74. .. In the world was it doing?
  75. Luna isn't entirely sure what to think fo the Neoshadow quickly grabbing her thigh, but it got the last laugh in this situation as it turned her attack attempt against her by promptly using its grip and momentum in its favor to toss her acorss the room and slam into it back-first with enough force that the wall potentially dented. A small bit of blood erupts from her mouth with a pained exclaimation, before she slides down the side and lands on the ground in her right side as she coughs a bit from the pain that surges throughout her entire body at that point.
  76. Nia tugged hard on the string and caught the yo-yo again once her spell did its job. Partially, at least; the thing was still standing and witnessing its motion to toss exhibited a concerned, "L-Luna..!" from the girl's lips. That looked like it hurt, and even the new guy seemed injured now, presumably from something he encountered on the way here. Worst still, the Heartless now had its eyes on her. Maybe Nia was being a little too effective here.
  77.
  78. "G-Get behind me..!" was an ironic thing for her to be saying to Ahkeem, but if he was injured then he'd need the help. Nia took a step to her left to facilitate her protection of him, standing at the ready once more and calling over to Luna: "Are you alright?!"
  79.
  80. Say yes, she thought. Just watching those nameless guards be taken down was hard, if Nia lost an actual friend here...
  81.
  82. She doubted this thing would wait long, but if it was coming, she was ready. Hopefully.
  83. Seth is sent skidding back, his shield raised to defend off against the attack, but the force that this unusually powerful woman came with was enough to push the towering giant back - something most have not managed. It was a feat to behold certainly. He could tell Annabelle was in no condition to fight, so he'd simply have to take matters into his own hand.
  84.
  85. "T'ch. Come."
  86.
  87. The man readies himself for the mysterious woman's approach.
  88. Ahkeem would reach into his satchel rather frantically recalling that he hadn't left home completely bare. After some digging he found a potion ripe for consumption; wasting no time in uncorking the top he'd consume the contents. It only took a few moments of a light glow emanating from his current wound before it sealed.
  89.
  90. A red scar the outlined where he'd been cut was apparent against his bronze skin. Ahkeem felt rejuvenated, and peeked over the desk that he was waiting behind. He'd evaluate the situation, and jump next to Nia.
  91.
  92. "I'm alright now; tell me what you need me to do so we can get rid of this thing."
  93. ? ? ? !: ".. Stubborn."
  94. Nia thought about it for a moment. He healed up with a potion? That was convenient. She nodded once. "Can you get Luna out of harm's way?" she asked, keeping her eyes locked on the Heartless. "I'll cover you with my magic as best I can. We can take the thing down after we all regroup."
  95. Annabelle would be rearing herself for battle, and after that potion she gave herself, she had truly thought herself to be. That was a lie though. The woman was pale and nigh unconscious from the bloodloss she suffered in that moment, but how could she accept defeat with but a simple blindside? She refused to. Her pride wouldn't allow it.
  96.
  97. But her body would.
  98.
  99. Steps forward are taken with a painstaking amount of work to bring herself for more combat, but one last step is all it takes for the woman to go crumbling to the ground, unconscious. She was done.
  100. Prince Lucas guesses he didn't react in time to prevent Seth from being attacked, He creep behing the White haired girl and attempt to knock for out with a swing of the wooden sword. "Take this!"
  101. Seth: "Don't- - - !"
  102. ? ? ? ! ducks low to effortlessly evade the blow from the boy. She didn't so much as turned her head in her direction, and in the next motion, her hand is upon his head. A step forward taken, and the two are in bullet motion, and in the next?
  103.
  104. Lucas can feel his head sinking into the wall.
  105.
  106. Her fingers snag him by the hair.
  107.
  108. Then she began to slam his head into the wall, creating a dent from the impact laid upon him.
  109.
  110. Over.
  111.
  112. And over.
  113.
  114. And over.
  115. Ahkeem nodded his head, and dug inside his bag while he approached Luna. Taking a potion out of his bag, and placing a hand on Luna's shoulder he began to urge the girl to get moving as he uncorked the top of the healing remedy. "Here; we're gonna need you."
  116.
  117. Magdalene - - - "Holy."
  118.
  119. That one word echoed, and from the tip of her staff comes a sphere of light that had the power to quake the ship on a scale that served as the equivalent to the dark witch. It's more channeled to the room they were currently battling in though, and from it, an explosion follows - it easily disperses the darkness and threatened to blast the woman away with enough force.
  120.
  121. She knew it wouldn't be that simple though.
  122. Luna had the feeling at least a few bones internally were broken with an impact like that, and even worse for her considering it was her damn back. One solid hit against a wall like that could've paralyzed her or taken her out of the fight for good if she was unlucky. Whatever this thing was a cut above the rest. But it seemed Luna wasn't getting up on her own as she tries to stabilize her heavy breathing while her entire body pulsates with a pain that causes her eyes to clench shut.
  123.
  124. No wonder people were running. She was foolish to try to fight this so inexperienced.
  125. [ - Used To Be - ] Shanx "...?!"
  126.
  127. It appeared that Zephyr was able to fulfill his mission without interference. That was the one positive aspect of the giant's actions. However, now they faced a more perilous situation. To prevent it from destroying the engine. Shanx was by no means an engineer, but he feared of what would be to come should it succeed in its mission.
  128.
  129. So he charged forward, sword tightly in his hands, before he attempted to swung at the back of the creature's right heel.
  130. Office:
  131. Heartless were naturally mindless, but they did have an instinct for battle at the very least, knowing how to counteract more simple attacks. The Neoshadow is an evolved form of its pureblood version - the Shadow, and with that evolution, came more experience - more wisdom, even if it was dumb and knew no better than a wild animal. It witnessed what Nia was capable of - that air magic of hers. If it fell victim to it again, it would be blown away, and that would spell bad for it.
  132.
  133. The phantom lurks, stalking its prey for several more moments before it lunges forward, claws razor sharp. It's moving back and forth to reach Nia, and when it sees an opportune moment, it attempts to cleave into the young girl.
  134.
  135. Blizzard.
  136.
  137. Certainly, it worked. Infact, it was better than any of the times that Selena had dared to use it - it was what you'd call an effective blizzard. The brittling cold it had to offer managed to effectively disperse a set of the heartless, but like river water, they just came flowing back like nothing.
  138. Basil Kerr: "Best fight ever." (Omit)
  139. Seth growls at the very sight, and now the man lost most of his composure at the sight of seeing one of the recent recruits being beaten to a bloody pulp. The man takes a firm step forward, then charges over with the full intent of rushing the woman into a wall. His tackle is filled with fury.
  140. Ahkeem furrowed his brow as Luna was unresponsive in a dire situation. The injury had to be serious, but hopefully the potion would at least allow her to stand, and fight mixed with pure adrenaline. Cuffing her chin, and tilting Luna's head slightly backwards he'd begin to pour small doses of the potion into Luna's mouth.
  141.
  142. Ahkeem was careful not to force her to swallow, and didn't administer any more potion until the liquid in her mouth was gone. Forcing her to drink the entire thing could have caused more harm than help at most.
  143.
  144. Selena Solaris probably knew this wasn't the time, but she felt elated and proud to know all her hard work had finally paid off. She could cast a Blizzard spell. <Yes! I can do this!!!> She felt motivated from seeing her success enough to ignore her hunger. Selena then heard what was happening to Lucas. With a determined face put, she pooled in her new confidence into casting again, aiming for any of the creature that tried to get in Seth's way. "Blizzard!!!"
  145. Nia wasn't sure how long she could distract the thing for, but she needed to buy at least enough time for Luna to get back up. Worst case scenario they might have just been down one combatant, which was unfortunate given this thing's apparent newfound cautiousness. As it moved about so too did Nia, keeping her focus on it but shifting her gaze on occasion to consider her options. Positioned as she was now, she just had to wait for it to come to her...
  146.
  147. And it did, sooner than she expected. Nia postured herself again not to immediately launch another spell--but rather, to deliver a hard kick to a shelf beside her, aiming to tip it just enough to cause the vials and tubes that it housed to fall. <"Sorry, miss Magdalene,"> Nia thought to herself, gesturing forth in the Heartless' direction. "Aero!"
  148.
  149. In addition to this wind, Nia hoped to launch a flurry of glass containers at the foe as well, hoping to shatter them right upon it. What was in them she didn't know. But potion-making, she'd read in her countless hours at the library in Twilight Town, was a delicate art; mix the wrong things together, and...
  150. ? ? ? ! - - - "Oh my."
  151.
  152. A shield is erected, far wider and more stronger than what she'd first use. It couldn't reflect more widescale damage like this, but it would at least save the woman from the wrath of such an attack.
  153.
  154. The shield drops once the attack had ended. "Careful now, Maggie. Think about collateral!" the woman grinned out.
  155.
  156. Then without further ado, one of the many bottles she kept with her is opened. An otherworldly force is conjured up, and from it, forces Magdalene off of her feet, pulling the woman over towards her.
  157.
  158. And now..
  159.
  160. "Aeroga."
  161.
  162. A tempest of winds pushes out from another one of the bottles with the power to easily send the woman flying back like an ant in the way of a fan. Woosh.
  163. Luna 's body seems to accept the Potion liquids into her systems, gradually rejuvenating her enough to numb some of the internal pains. But a simple potion wouldn't fix any severe injuries she's withstood, only dull the pain just a bit so that she could breathe more comfortably and begin trying to push herself up in a sheer disrespect for her physical state. ".. Thank you, my head's.. Still a bit hazy, give me a second-"
  164. And then she notices the Neoshadow rushing towards Nia.
  165. Prince Lucas was in shock at his attack did not meet, within moments he was taken from his previous location and attending up against a wall with in his more in, his yell displayed great pain and rager as he was being beaten in a the face a few times feeling blood appearing in his nose, mouth and bruises. He began to start covering his face for protection for the hits as he used both his legs and aggresively with all the strength his had jab her in the stomach to atleast seperate himself from her, if this was successful he would fall to his knees with one hand on his face covering it but glaring in anger towards the white haired individual as nose was rushing down his nose and mouth.
  166. Office:
  167. It worked.
  168.
  169. And it burnt the living hell out of that Neoshadow from the concotion of chemicals that were all a product of Magdalene's work. It's acidic, and it burns, and for a moment it seemed that the Neoshadow was done-
  170.
  171. But it refused.
  172.
  173. And with one mighty step forward, the beast seemed more enraged now than ever. It wrestles through the pain, and with those beady burning eyes of it, it stampedes forward like a raging bull with the full intent of headbutting Nia into a wall with all of its might. She pushed this creature to the edge by the looks of it.
  174.
  175. Training Room:
  176. Selena manages to get along just fine with crowd control, but it would seem she was now the target of most of the heartless' offensive. Their master? She was currently engaged in a duel with Seth. They'd simply get in the way were they to involve themselves, and that would meant death.
  177. Big Body; Engine buckles over from the strike to its leg. It hurts, and while it does, it refuses to give in. The creature insists on continuing to force itself upon the engine. The longer it goes on, the more the beeping intensifies.
  178.
  179. The room heats up even more, and the cogwheels have stopped fully. Steam and smoke were beginning to pour out and flood the very room they were in.
  180. Selena Solaris only now realized her predicament as she saw all the beady eyes staring right at her, gulping as fear creeped into her. <They'd be cute specimens if they weren't trying to kill me.> She steeled herself as much as she could, still feeling the adrenaline as she continue to cast her spell at the heartless. "Don't think you scare me! I'll have you know I've dissected animals far bigger than you lot to understand their anatomy!! Just wait till I get my hands on one of you! Blizzard!!!"
  181. Luna lurched.
  182. Her entire body protests the movement because of the wall slam. It mentally screams at her to stay put, and such a sudden movement felt like she was literally tearing herself up before she was fully healed, even if only metaphorically. Her fists clenched tightly enough that her fingernails dug into the skin of her palms, and it felt like her legs would give out at any moment if she didn't manage to do what she needed to do.
  183.
  184. Ahkeem could see it, a glimmer in the blink of an eye that was gone. Something about her eyes changed, but in a way different than before. As Luna's pain echoes out through her nervous system, something suddenly causes it to narrow itself out like a pipeline restricting how much was going through her system at once, and with a burst of energy that shrouds her legs, Luna was across the room--
  185. Nia planned for something else after what she just did, but this one was much more resiliant than the others. She found herself unable to react in time as the thing charged at her again, the brunt of its head connecting and launching her right back. The girl exhaled pair of painful cries upon receiving the hit and meeting the wall, which she quickly sank down against much like Luna had earlier... however, Nia didn't just take a hit for nothing.
  186.
  187. As she flew back, momentum from that and a yank of her arm altered the trajectory of the yo-yo that'd been carried with the wind. Nia hoped to maneuver it to wrap around and constrict the Heartless, if only for a short while; just long enough, hopefully, to help the others capitalize on it being distracted by her.
  188.
  189. "N-... Now..!" she signaled the others, doubting her ability to hold it for long. That is, if she even wrapped it like she wanted in the first place.
  190. Luna --with the yellow part of her normal eyes suddenly overemphasized, delivering a left hook angled downwards towards the side of the Neoshadow's head intended to slam it down into the ground while it was restrained by Nia's yo-yo. If the hit managed to connect, there would be a moment on impact that seemed to physically distort the very air around the blow, like a shockwave. And if it did manage to take the Neoshadow down to the ground, she intended to pounce onto it with her bloodied fingers and tear into it with her bare hands.
  191.
  192. "I'll kill you."
  193. [ - Used To Be - ] Shanx || While the first swing was able to hit its mark and deal some noticeable damage, it appeared that it was not enough. After finishing the motion of his first swing, he adjusted his grip and attempted another swing at the same angle. During this process, he began to sweat profusely due to the steadily increasing temperature of the room.
  194.
  195. "Fall...FALL!"
  196. ? ? ? ! will grab the fist he sent her way. Her grip is tight and surefire, and she puts pressure down on it. It's enough to bend and force his fingers back to the point that they nearly snap, and the pain alone is enough to bring Lucas to his knees at her mercy. A foot is heaved forward, and it smashes down with lightning fast speed. It's enough to rattle his brain and leave him dazed and beaten. He'd be unresponsive by the end of it.
  197.
  198. Of course all of the attention she gave to Lucas made her victim to a rushing tackle from Seth. The woman is slammed into the wall with a resounding boom, enough to kick up dust that covered both her and Seth.
  199. Ahkeem saw the look in Luna's eyes, and it reminded him of something, but in this situation he couldn't figure it out. Watching Luna burst forward after Nia restrained the heartless with her yo-yo gave him all the motivation he needed to get moving himself.
  200.
  201. Ahkeem would get a running start, and clear the room with a single powerful bound. If the Neoshadow was restrained by Nia's yo-yo or Luna's pounce' Ahkeem would stomp down as hard as he could on the heartless' head. Mind you Ahkeem was careful of where Luna was directing her attacks all throughout this exchange.
  202.
  203. Magdalene | Boom.
  204.
  205. Into the wall up high she goes, and in turn, she leaves a crater in place. The woman's eyes opened wide for several moments before she descended to the ground with a groan. She was dazed from that strike alone, but she knew well--
  206.
  207. She had to get up.
  208.
  209. She just had to. Slowly, the woman tries to collect her bearings painfully.
  210.
  211. "Ugh.."
  212. Prince Lucas struggled to the best that he could feeling his fingers being pulled back which at him release nothing but pain vocally having blood flow through his mouth and nose, as he was brought to his knees he got mad using his anger to increase his durability some more before suddenly kicked instantly in the head hard enough for him to feel some new type of pain his never felt before. He was dazed on his way to his knees feeling light headed and unbalanced. He blinked serveral times trying to keep himself for closing his eyes as he energy was drained "I will not... let you get away with this!" <Damit, how could I have been so badly beaten...give...me...strength...> His body met the ground as he slowly lowered his eyelids till they was fully closed it was his time to rest and gain some energy, he was knocked out.
  213. Zephyr finishes the "all-important task" Shanx assigned him in the nick of time. He dumps the last unconscious worker outside and rushes back inside without further delay, immediately assaulted by the heat that leaves him sweating even more than he already was. But there was no time to complain about his predictament as he snatches the dagger loose from his belt and leaps into the air with one of his signature jumps, the altitude lowered to avoid smacking into the roof as he seeks to plant the blade of his weapon in the creature's right shoulder. With no other weapons to rely on, he'll have to rely on his ability to cling onto the monster's body and continue stabbing away the shoulder in hopes that it'll start feeling the pain eventually.
  214. ? ? ? ! - - - "Done so soon, are we?"
  215.
  216. Magdalene could hear it now.
  217.
  218. Through all of the chaos that had ensued in their conflict, there was now an unsettling amount of quiet, and the only thing she can hear resounding throughout those ears of hers was the clatter of the dark mage's heels casually tapping to the ground. She was getting closer, and now she stood a few feet away, gazing at the woman as she tried feebly to get up.
  219.
  220. Though try as she may..
  221.
  222. It didn't matter now.
  223.
  224. "That's sad. I was starting to have fun. Though do note, my dear Magdalene- - -"
  225.
  226.
  227. "I wasn't even trying."
  228.
  229.
  230. Her spellbook is gripped now, and a wicked smile takes to her lips. Her hands began to glow a wicked miasma that was purple, and as it does, something foul loomed in the air. The ground was starting to split, and spiderweb fissures coursed throughout it all. It was then that she gave the final command that would bring this battle to a close.
  231.
  232. "Earthquake."
  233.
  234. The ground starts to rip apart infront of Magdalene, and just as the woman tried to scramble up to a stand, she'll find that a hole began to form. Wider and wider, did it grow, and it's not long before she fell straight into it. The hole tore straight through, sinking the woman in.
  235.
  236. "Goodbye."
  237. Nia
  238. ahem
  239.
  240.
  241.
  242.
  243. fuck.
  244. Selena Solaris made her way to Lucas to help the poor guy as she continue to keep the shadowy creatures at bay. Once she did, or well if, she'd kneel down to him quickly and tried to keep him alive with one of her potion. She was glad her experiments always had her prepared potions in advance at all times in case she ever damaged herself. "To think all this happening so fast. Where is everyone else?" As soon as she administered the potion for Lucas, she went back to focusing on keeping the creatures away from them while she racked her brain on how to get out of this mess. "There's no way Im gonna die here. Not till I know everything in life."
  245. Big Body; Engine | Pain. It hurts, and while it was durable, it couldn't keep this up for long. But that didn't matter to the Big Body. It was the equivalent of a suicide bomber in this situation, and by the looks of it, it would see its mission through. It's forced to a knee from the strike being laid to its leg again, and the mosquito at its shoulder nibbling away the way it did.
  246.
  247. Zephyr and Shanx are going to bare witness to something unsavory though.
  248.
  249. The engine? Well, it looked like it'd reach its limit. The only reasonable course of action to take now was to get behind the Big Body and use it for cover.
  250.
  251. In the next few moments, regardless of what course of action they'd take, an explosion would ensue, lighting the whole room aglow. The force is enough to send both them, as well as the Big Body back. He'd protect them from the brunt of the explosion, ending up sacrificing itself and completing its prime objective in the end.
  252.
  253. A few moments later, and they could feel the result of the engine being lost in the form of the ship starting to go down. Fast.
  254. ? ? ? ! | The smoke cleared, and by the end of it, they could see it all. This woman was engaged in a heated clash with Seth. Her blade pressed up against his in a surprisingly even match.
  255.
  256. A sweep, and she breaks away, cutting straight through at the straps of the man's armor paddings. She's trying to cleave her way at his defenses to open up more room to possibilities.
  257. Office Room:
  258. The beast raised its claws up at Nia, about ready to rip her into piecemeal, when suddenly, her yo-yo came full circle, ensnaring it in her trap. That in turn gives Luna the much needed time to exact her anger out on the unsuspecting beast, and now it falls to the ground. It's being ripped and stomped on, beaten and torn away at, and it's not long before the creatutre gives in, slipping into the cold embrace of the element from which it was formed: Darkness.
  259. Luna was in a strange case of 'primal' being a fitting term again, albeit it was a bit more literal in this case. Once the Neoshadow was pasted enough that it became a solid form of darkness, she just continues to sit there over the empty yo-yo lines as the wound beneath her sweater pulsates in reaction to the darkness vanquished. Its response was to attempt to draw in said darkness before it faded entirely to 'devour' it with Luna's own body if it wasn't stopped; but, whether it was successful or not..
  260. Luna .. would collapse onto her face regardless with her body unconscious and limp.
  261. Seth hisses once she managed to cut the leather straps, and now his armor spalls away. No good - no good at all. Perhaps he should've worn something full-body today, but it would seen fate was against him unfortunately. Either way, the man seems undeterred. Rageful of what happened to the beaten Annabelle, he holds nothing back.
  262.
  263. And with a firm sweep, he aims to cleave the woman by the shoulder.
  264. Nia couldn't begin to express her relief that they got to it in time. As the foe began to vanish, allowing her yo-yo to retract and roll back into her hand, she let out a few uncomfortable coughs. Taking that headbutt and slamming into the wall sure did hurt; thank goodness she didn't hit her head or she might have gotten knocked out right there. Nia took a moment to try and catch her breath before leaning forward, strenuous motions aiming to get her up to her feet.
  265.
  266. "Is-... Is everyone okay..?" Nia asked. She did make it back to her feet, but as a certain redhead began acting strangely and eventually passed out, there came a startled and concerned-
  267. Nia: "L-Luna?! H-Hey, keep it together..!"
  268. Ahkeem exhaled slowly as the relief of vanquishing the immediate threat had been taken care of. It seemed as though the boy had rotten luck to the core today as Luna passed out likely from her earlier wounds. Acting in response he'd kneel down, and turn Luna over on her back.
  269.
  270. The girl was obviously breathing, but it seemed to be strained another result from earlier battle damage of course. "Nia..come look after her for a moment." He'd say as he retreated behind the desk to look for anything that might be able to help Luna in her current state.
  271.
  272. Selena Solaris attention moved to he fight between Seth and the mysterious woman. <Lets see if I can take advantage and hit her while her attention is away. But my aim must be true or I'll hit Mr. Seth>. She turned her staff to aim at the white haired enemy, making sure to aim it as perfectly as she could in her situation before casting the ice spell. "Blizzard!"
  273. Prince Lucas opens his eyes in a matter of moments having his face connecting with the ground blood being all around it, it was his blood and still had some on the his mouth. He remembered battle an individual stronger then he had trained for what he could remember, she was in a whole different level. He remained on the floor for the moment looking at his blood, he was angry more angry then he had ever been to be beaten down so badly, he at underestimated his opponent and had them be the victor against him, he wasn't used to the thought which had him grow more anger. "Ugh... I can't win like with this, I need some better much better!" He preached to himself.
  274. ? ? ? ! 's ears twitch at the hearing of the word 'Blizzard', and the very moment she feels a chill headed her way, she is gone in an instant, narrowly evading the swipe Seth sent her way. A foot raises, then lances straight into the man's back with enough force to send him right in the line of fire of Selena's attack.
  275. Seth swings, and the only thing he ends up hitting is nothing more than thin air. His eyes widen, and just as he turns around, he'll be met with a heel jamming straight into his abdominals. It's enough to rocket him straight off his feet, and directly where the woman would've wanted him to be. Before he can react, he is struck by the blast of brittling cold ice, and it immediately freezes at his arm and hits him with a chill so hard that he is stunned. His eyes widen.
  276.
  277. "W---"
  278. ? ? ? ! | An opening. It's here that she acts.
  279.
  280. Her blade sweeps forward, and with another agile step, the woman is gone. Without any pause, her blade sinks into Seth's back.
  281.
  282. She yanks it out thereafter, watching the man tumble to the ground. Blood spatters the ground.
  283. Seth 's eyes roll. The man immediately slips into unconsciousness. Where that woman struck - it was a precise stab, and that rendered him immobile.
  284. Selena Solaris looked in shock how quickly her attempt at helping backfired. "No! I didn't mean to...." The confidence she had before was replaced with terror and guilt as she watched the woman stab into Seth. "I...I..." Tears rolled down while the mage in training stared at the blood. Blood that she helped spill. "No No No No!!!"
  285. ? ? ? !: "It ends here--"
  286. Prince Lucas got up slow and steadily gathering his mind together and rubbing the back of his head. His eyes widened at the scenery, Seth had been stabbed. This only built more will and anger within Lucas. <No... I have to help everyone, I must!> releasing his grow of anger for the first time he dashed towards the white haired girl while being consumed within his rage, he performed a jump high as he could with the wooden sword feeling his momentum when he got close enough he began to rapidly and aggresively with all his strength swing at the unknown person from all directions. "Stop this madness!"
  287. The effects of all the damage done to the ship began to come to play now. The massive collateral both Magdalene and the mysterious woman she had fought, as well as the suicidal actions of a Big Body that sacrificed itself to destroy the very engine of the ship had came in. The red lights were still blaring off, and the ship was dark.
  288.
  289. The screams of people still cried out in certain places, and in others? There was nothing but quiet. Quiet and quiet.
  290. Nia did indeed rush to Luna's aid, though she wasn't sure what exactly to do. Never had the girl had to treat an injured person before, and if that potion Luna took earlier didn't fix her up, the ones Nia had on her wouldn't do their job either. Plus, there was that... strange happening just now before Luna passed out. "What... was-"
  291.
  292. Time to wonder about that was cut short, for Nia was soon stumbling about as the floor beneath her shook. Something big was happening. Something bad. They couldn't stay here now, they had to get Luna some help. "W-We gotta move..!" exclaimed Nia, attempting to lift her unconscious friend from the floor and hobble toward the room's exit. Surely Ahkeem would provide a helping hand, she thought.
  293.
  294. Magdalene was right outside still, right? The Crusader which Nia looked up to more than anyone, who'd showed her such kindness and hospitality, would be there still to help them...
  295.
  296. ... right?
  297. Ahkeem was still rummaging for anything that might help Luna recover from her injuries, but suddenly he felt something beneath or rather the lack there of. A sense of weightlessness had filled him, and this sent him into a sense of panic. Ahkeem grabbed anything, and everything he could pots, books, and anything that wasn't broke into pieces.
  298.
  299. <Oh no.> Ahkeem shoved all he could into his bag before placing it on Nia's shoulders. He'd then step in front of Luna's unconscious body, and lift her piggyback style essentially securing her on his back.
  300.
  301. "Lead the way Nia."
  302. Selena Solaris had stared at Seth's blood silently for a moment, her feelings inside raging between guilt, terror, and hopelessness. Hearing the woman who was really responsible for this speaking, part of her seem to snap. All her sorrow and despair turned into rage. As Lucas attempted to attack, she reached out to him to stop him by grabbing his shoulder. She glared up at the white haired murderer, her eyes darkening to one of cold fury. "You....You did this...Freeze into a million shards of ice. Blizzard!" She aimed her staff at the woman, trying to take out her anguish at her with the ice spell that had caused Seth's defeat.
  303. Basil Kerr: "Oh shit, who signs the checks now?" (Omit)
  304. Basil Kerr: "....I'm going to miss Boobie Mage." (Omit)
  305. Basil Kerr: "He's already a sickly person." (Omit)
  306. Basil Kerr: "Lucas, come to the darkside. You get cool yellow eyes for it." (Omit)
  307. Magdalene sunk into the hole that the woman had created, and her eyes widen for several moments. She tried to reach out desperately to bring herself back to higher ground, but it's all for naught. Down the woman goes into the hole, and just like that, the mysterious woman had shut it close - not for the sake of the ship, but for the sake of crushing the poor mage in.
  308.
  309. There's a pained scream that follows, then silence.
  310.
  311. Magdalene had been done in, and in those last moments, it wasn't the pain she knew the most. But well..
  312.
  313. Regret.
  314.
  315. Regret that she didn't get to see her newly-appointed students blossom. To get to see them grow and become more than what they were.
  316.
  317. She'd never get that.
  318.
  319. But she still had hope that they'd do well. She felt it in her heart that they would.
  320.
  321. As the hole seals shut, Magdalene's spellbook falls to the ground where she once stood.
  322. [ - Used To Be - ] Shanx felt the slightest bit of relief once he saw the Big Body succumb to the accumulated damage. Unfortunately, the combined efforts of himself and Zephyr were for naught. It was probably obvious to the two of them that the engine would no longer hold. It was redundant, but Shanx felled compelled to shout.
  323.
  324. "GET BEHIND IT!"
  325.
  326. After all, this thing was strong enough to punch the engine into submission. Chances are that, at the very least, it could be used as a shield for them. Assuming that he was able to remain conscious after the explosion, he would groan loudly as his eardrums rang. It was hard to really fathom anything, but the sensation around them was unmistakeable.
  327.
  328. They were falling.
  329. Basil Kerr: "I just did..horrible it was.." (Omit)
  330. ? ? ? ! needed to get out of here, she felt. Unfortunately that would mean she'd have to spare Seth, albeit unwilling. However, she's willing to hope he'll meet his end simply due to the injury she inflicted upon him alone. A portal of darkness - the corridor of darkness to be specific, opens up, and now the woman sinks into it. "Tsk."
  331.
  332. In a mere moment, she is gone. Selena's blizzard hits nothing but thin air.
  333. Prince Lucas eyes widened while he remained on the ground seeing the random girl walk through a portal of darkness and disappear into nothingless. He released a sigh asshamed at the fact that they was defeated with ease. He mind was clear that he needed to do something about this, never has he been put to such a state.
  334. Nia perceived the world in slow motion then--things were gradual, weighted as if deep under water, and the image of Magdalene sinking into the floor widened Nia's eyes in terror. She moved on instinct. Before she knew it she was moving forward, crying out words she couldn't even process, leaving Luna and Ahkeem behind in a desperate attempt to reach the distressed Mage in time. Painfully long strides encompassed the longest few seconds of her life and as she made a strong leap, the next sound to escape her lips was a shrill, deafening one.
  335.
  336. "N-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..!!"
  337.
  338. That was her realization that she wouldn't make it in time. The hole closed up and Nia landed hard where Magdalene once was, beside the spellbook which remained the only evidence of the woman's now-extinguished presence. To no avail the girl clawed and struck at the floor, unable to pry it open again, refusing to immediately accept the veteran Mage's untimely demise.
  339.
  340. Eight years ago, Nia lost people she very much cared about.
  341.
  342. Had it happened again?
  343. Luna limply hits the ground in Nia's panic, rolling for a couple seconds as she twitches, though not fully conscious.
  344. Selena Solaris glared intensified as she watched the woman disappear into a black hole that had appeared out of nowhere, avoiding the spell. She cursed the woman. "You coward! I swear I'll find you and make you pay!" She took a few deep breath before feeling unbalance as she realized there was something wrong with the ship. She looked down at Seth, the feeling of guilt returning before kneeling down at him. "M-Maybe Im overthinking! Maybe he is still alive!" She quickly reached for one of her potion, quickly attempting to administer it onto Seth's wound with shaking hands. "Please don't die on me. Don't you dare leave me to have blood on my hands."
  345. Seth groans. His wound closed a bit, and that in turn mittigated the bleeding, but he had far more internal damage done to him for it to all be stopped by a mere potion. Further treatment would require some more expert help, and right now--?
  346.
  347. That didn't look to be a thing given the ship was currently crashing.
  348. Zephyr had absolutely no time to react to the destruction of the engine despite Shanx's best efforts to warn him otherwise. The only fortunate factor about his current position was that he was shielded from the brunt of the explosion by the monster's hulking frame, saving him from a gruesome demise and only throwing his body through the air just like the ship they're on board of. His descent is swift and painful, back hitting the floor with enough force to knock a lesser man unconscious and sliding a few feet across before he comes to a halt.
  349.
  350. ".."
  351.
  352. The realization that they had failed to protect the engine wasn't what had him bothered. No, it was both the pain racing through his body along with the fact that they would soon crash and end up dying regardless. For that reason alone, he chooses to lie where he is and recover in silence. It wouldn't matter in the long run regardless.
  353. Ahkeem turned the corner as soon as Nia did with Luna in tow. Perceiving the same thing as his fellow crusader; he bit his lip watching a veteran mage's demise. A constant reminder of what could come to any crusader in this field of work. There was no time to lose focus as Nia had just dived into a situation that could spell the end for not only her, but all of them
  354.
  355. Ahkeem saw the dark mage that stood a few feet away from Nia, and he begun to play out his options. Suddenly Basil would jump into the fray with sword drawn, and attack the mage; Ahkeem would thrust into action at this brief opening, and charge forward. "Nia grab the book!" An effort to attack was not his intention as he grabbed Nia's bicep from behind, and pulled her away from the mage. Hopefully Nia would've regained her senses, and grabbed the spell book at this time.
  356.
  357. Selena Solaris tears fell from her eyes. "He's still alive!" She gently moved Seth to her lap, holding him protectively as she screamed out in hopes someone was nearby that could help. She certainly couldnt' carry him and for some reason the ship seemed to feel like it was falling? That wouldn't help with carrying at all. "Help!! Someone please help!!!"
  358. Prince Lucas "I'm going to defeat her I swear, she's going to regret what she has done here!" He said looking at the blood that had stained his clothes, he had enough strength to go on his knees looking down at the floor, everything that had happened it was too fast unexcepted and all they was left with was injuries to the heart. He could hear Selena as it sounded like some good news in the air. But he was at the point where he wasn't mentally about to move his body right now, it was way too much for him to take in.
  359. Those who were standing would lose their balance, falling to the floors. The ship was going down and down, further and further, and as it did, it felt nigh certain that this could've only ended in one way.
  360.
  361. Magdalene was dead.
  362.
  363. Seth had suffered a grievious wound, unresponsive.
  364.
  365. Annabelle had been delimbed and rendered unconscious.
  366.
  367. None of the three pillars that stood as a beacon of hope and justice were able to do anything. They'd all been bested by the overwhelming might of an unforeseen force, and now it would seem all hope was lost.
  368.
  369. But they couldn't give in.
  370.
  371. It was in the very heat of the moment that those with stronger hearts than average could feel something burning in them. It was something that willed them not to stop. Surely their bodies couldn't do anything right now, and they were all unable to truly do anything, but something made them want to move. It was a shame they couldn't act upon it.
  372.
  373. The ship became a smoldering ball of fire as it began to make a crash landing on a world.
  374.
  375. Something unlikely happened though.
  376.
  377. The ship hits the ground, just right enough for it to be sent skidding across the earth, tearing through and ripping apart everything and anything in its way. It continued on and on until finally.. it stopped.
  378.
  379. The blaring stopped. The ship stopped moving.
  380.
  381. It was over by the looks of it. The heartles had all retreated.
  382.
  383. ...
  384.
  385. They black out from the brain rattling experience that came from the landing.
  386.
  387. What was to come now?
  388.
  389. [ E n d. ]
  390. Luna gets stuck in a wall as her skull butts out part of the gummi that composed it while she's still unconscious. Albeit awkwardly, given the two sensations of burning in her body and heart that eat away at her.
  391. Her legs sorta just dangle in the air overhead, but it seemed she was relatively okay from this one, besides the fact that she was probably not going to be comfortable with her back injury still relevant and.. Whatever happened with that Neoshadow.
  392. Selena Solaris was keeping a tight hold onto Seth as she tumbled all around the training room as she passed out from the experience of the crash.
  393. Prince Lucas fell on his back exhausting, drained and upset. looking up at the ceiling of the training room just feeling lower then normal, he felt himself lose consciousness slowly lowering his eyelids until they was closed, he thought of everything his had gone through so far and people his met, the conversations and promises made, times at the Item Shop, he felt as if he wanted to live that moment right now. But the hunger of wanting to revenge those we had lost and have been badly hurt today only motivated himself and his cause more. The images in his mind began to fade as he knocked out and went into a deep sleep.
  394. Nia paid no mind to the one who intended to pull her away. As the ship descended, her eyes were on the spellbook--and soon so was one of her hands. Magdalene was gone. The witch was to blame, and there was no one around who could make her answer to that. Nia had to do something, whether it be to read and cast a spell on the hopefully exhausted witch or even lunge forward herself. But she didn't have the strength left to do either of those things.
  395.
  396. She fell, and no amount of effort put toward lifting herself up was of any use. Nia clutched tightly to the book she now held to her chest, eyes dampened by a bitter liquid that now trailed down along her cheeks. She joined the Crusaders of Light to help and protect people, but... somehow, in her years of dreaming and preparing to follow in the footsteps of they who inspired her, she never considered the notion of losing them instead.
  397.
  398. Even as the world faded to black, Nia's tears would not cease. Perhaps she'd wake up later on, but... she'd do so knowing Magdalene never would again.
