	unlike his brother, dasan was the family favorite. his cute smile and eager to please personality made him much easier to influence than their other son which made dasan's life a living hell. he had to be as successful or maybe even more than his parents, get the best grades, be the best at all instruments, learn as many languages as possible. if he wasn't the best, he would be punished but the real reason he did it all was because if he didn't, he'd hate himself for being a disappointment. he didn't want to do the things his parents made him do but he was unable to tell them no so he just bared it. this is the reason he admires hanu so much. his brother can tell his parents no without a second thought. he can do whatever, whenever and dasan wants so desperately be that way too. he spent what little free time he had following hanu around, despite his brothers complaints and insults. he'd always loved music but the way hanu sang and made music so naturally made dasan love it 10x more. he knew his brother had talent so he supported him and boosted him up to audition. however, once his brother was gone, things only got worse for him.

	his parents were humiliated by their oldest son, the way he just did what he wanted had spread to all their parents social circles and embarrassed them. at first, dasan was happy with it and felt his parents deserved it. however, soon after he was pushed to work harder to keep his parents at the top of the food chain. he needed to clean up the mess his brother made but he strangely didn't mind. as long as hanu was happy, he felt a sense of happiness in his heart. he smiled through it all and continued to push himself hard enough to faint in the middle of class on multiple occasions. about a year after hanu left, he tried to convince his brother to join him as an idol being that he was also skilled in music. dasan eagerly went for it, auditioning for a bighit when he was almost 16 but had his dreams crushed when he was rejected and his parents mad him cut out music completely, telling him it was proof he wasn't good enough and would end up worse off than his brother. dasan actually believed it, crying and wanting to never play another instrument again becasue he thought there was no point. a few months later, his brother convinced him to not listen to his parents words and audition somewhere else, keep trying until he made it somewhere because he had to talent to do so. dasan only needed to audition one more time with the new company FM, making it as a trainee. unlike hanu, he didn't tell his parents anything about him leaving to pursue his dreams. he simply packed up and left, faking that his parents gave permission since he wasn't legal. he knew they'd find out eventually but he wanted to be able to focus on his career in peace, not worrying about not being good enough for once in his life. he had the talent but he parents couldn't see that and their pessimism would only break him which is something he doesn't want.

	dasan can only be defined as a ray of sunshine. he is always smiling and laughing with everyone, his energy seemingly never ending. he's just like a little puppy, wanting to see and find out more about everything. his face is bright with excitement no matter what he's doing or who he's doing it with. he's also very smart, with an iq that rivals the genius. his cute face and childish nature turn the attention away from his smarts but once he starts talking about mathematics or speaking another language, everyone's jaws drop to the floor. like everyone would expects, he's very innocent and often doesn't understand the jokes the other members make, smiling while trying to figure it out in his head. he is the most immature even though he's almost an adult, screaming and running to the couch when sofia the first comes on (with subtitles of course becasue his english is horrid). he's a weird mix of a realist and a optimist, understanding that things can't always be sunshine and rainbows but also having the part of him that knows you can turn the worst into the best if you try. surprisingly, he can be troublemaker when he's around the leader or the bitch, pulling pranks on those two and using his innocent face to cover it up much like the devil in disguise.

	dasan's biggest flaw if the fact that he can't say 'no' no matter how hard he tries. he feels like he can't hurt other people's feelings and he much love them no matter who they are or what they've done. he wishes and pray that he can be more like his brother or some of the other members that can speak their minds easy and without thinking of the consequences. he often practicing in the mirror by himself but when it comes time to do it, he just smiles like always and says what the person wants to hear and hates every minute of it. he tries to cover it up just by saying it's how he was raised despite his parents not giving a single fuck how he treats others. he hates himself for being too weak to say one word to someone but of course his smile would never let a single soul know how he truly feels.
