  17. Presence Concealment B
  18. Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear and become extremely difficult to be detected. The rank of Presence Concealment drops considerably when preparing to attack.
  19.
  20. Personal Skills
  21.
  22. Aptitude for Servitude A
  23. A skill gained from a life acting as a worker for another. Merely living as a slave or other sort of retainer is not the only requirement, one must actively enjoy their life of being another’s servant.
  24. It allows a variety of skills to be used, although very rarely do they have combat applications. Cleaning, cooking, manners and the like. Due to the skills’ high rank, Turner can even tailor her skills, attitude and appearance to more strongly match her Master’s tastes.
  25.
  26. Apothecarian C
  27. A skill for those who possess knowledge of chemicals and their interactions, as well as ones who have connections that allows them access to a variety of different chemicals. The skill is purely based on simply observable science, which makes it very useful in a more contemporary world. Even without the “Item Creation” skill, this skill allows one to make chemical-based magical artifacts.
  28. While not a chemist by trade, Turner had married one and picked up secondhand knowledge from the marriage. She knows of many obscure chemicals and interactions, as well as how to best mix them to remove evidence of her tampering with them.
  29.
  30. Golden Rule C
  31. Anne Turner lived as a maidservant but had plenty of money to expend on frivolities, including her fascination with chemistry, through extralegal means. These ranged from strongarming businesses such that she owned a monopoly on the fashionable dye of saffron as well as ran many houses of ill-repute.
  32.
  33. Noble Phantasm: Overbury Affair - Howard’s Martyr
  34. Rank: C
  35. Type: Anti-Unit
  36. Range: 1
  37. Maximum Number of Targets: 1
  38. Anne Turner’s Noble Phantasm, manifested not as a specific item but as “the things I cook.” Despite her Noble Phantasm’s parameters, the range and targets are significantly higher. Each time she creates a dish, it may be utilizing her Noble Phantasm.
  39. The food masks a mysterious substance that she mixes in with it, usually in a sauce, jam, tarts, and the like. These mixtures are nearly indistinguishable from regular foodstuffs but can contain a variety of chemicals that can be used for beneficial effects, brainwashing effects, and of course poisoning effects.
  40. It is a very specialized Noble Phantasm that may be difficult for many Masters to make use of, but one that is not to be underestimated due to its versatility and stealth benefits.
  41.
  42. Design
  43. Turner dresses in typical maid garbs. She has impeccable posture and tends to have subtle changes in expressions. She holds a mature appearance, clearly in her late 20s, but her skin and face have been taken proper care of so she is aging gracefully. She wears rimless glasses and straightens them often, particularly while scheming in which case she also tends to have some trouble hiding her jubilance. Turner has smooth black hair, as if designed by birth to work with her pale skin and more morose dress sense. Her hair is well-kept and typically tied in a simple bun, kept under a bonnet.
  44. Ascension 1: Turner dresses in an old, purely utilitarian housekeeper’s outfit. She has thick clothes, a buttoned shirt and long dress as well as a no-frills simple apron. The clothes she wears evoke the image of a “maid” from before it became the subject of fetish.
  45. Ascension 2: Turner changes into a low-cut black dress with sliver jewelry, yellow embroidery and a yellow feather boa. She lets her hair down and wears a fancy hat. Her clothes are meant to evoke the image of her as a criminal businesswoman.
  46. Ascension 3: Turner dresses in a more contemporary maid outfit with frilly and revealing clothes, short sleeves, and her hair not as bound as her traditional clothes. She still wears a long dress, a bit self-conscious about the mental image of a mature woman wearing a miniskirt.
  47.
  48. Fighting Style
  49. Turner is more or less incapable of fighting in any traditional sense. Her primary means of killing is through poisoning her opposition. She can, with enough time, use her Noble Phantasm to brainwash and strengthen a number of people so she has some bodies to throw out, although they are most likely to be quite weak and but that is the extent of her capability in a direct battle.
  50.
  51. Lore
  52. Born one among ten children of a London family, Anne Norton’s life was fairly standard for one of the time. She lived out a typical childhood, grew up beautiful, took on a career as a maidservant and friend for the noblewoman Frances Howard, and married her husband, the physician George Turner.
  53. After the death of her husband, rumors began to spread in Turner’s life. It was believed that she was an illegitimate child of an occultist and had connections to the supernatural as a result. Rumors also spread of Turner having illegitimate children of unknown origin. Whether they held validity or not, nobody can verify. What can be verified was Turner’s fascination with chemistry that lead her to continue purchasing and utilizing clinical medicines and metals through her life, some for entirely legal purposes and others not so much.
  54. It was her connections to Countess Howard that lead Turner down a path of debauchery. She was a natural in matters of servitude, which included a willingness to frame, drug or even poison those in order for Howard to achieve the object of her desires. Ultimately, Countess Howard was pardoned while Turner took on the role of her mistress’ martyr, being hanged while spoken of as a harlot, witch and murderer.
  55.
  56. Personality
  57. Anne Turner is a prim and proper ideal housekeeper. She is good at cooking, cleaning, and attending to her Master’s needs. She is formal and polite, while also being honest and strict. What she wishes is to see her Master’s needs and desires be achieved by any means necessary, and by her own sense of logic that includes pushing her Master to gaining their desires even if it makes them uncomfortable at times. In particular, she does greatly value traditional feminine values or “Maid Aptitude” and oftentimes jabs into other women in ways they may increase theirs.
  58. Turner is also rather shrewd and ruthless. She is staggeringly intelligent in matters of business, readily willing to leap into criminal affairs, and holds no hesitation to any demand her Master may place on her, no matter how foul it may be.
  59.
  60. Desire for the Grail
  61. Anne Turner holds no regrets from her life. To her belief, her mistress Howard achieved her happiness, so too did Turner. Regardless of it giving her a reputation as an evil person, she achieved her goal. The same goes for her current Master - anything that may bring her Master fulfillment she fully supports. If her Master’s wish is truly ‘for Turner to make a wish of her own’, she would without hesitation desire to incarnate herself and gain funding to start her own housekeeping service.
  62.
  63. Relationship to Other Servants
  64.
  65. Maid Alter: “Hm, you have some points but you have a long way to go. I shall be extra strict with your training.”
  66.
  67. Marie Antoinette: “Such a sweet tooth. I believe your subjects were not wrong to deem it a tad unsightly.”
  68.
  69. Tomoe Gozen: “For your own benefit I believe it auspicious to limit your time on electronics. Perhaps you shall be able to channel your time into something more useful, such as your cooking?”
  70.
  71. Karna: “So quick to criticize my Countess, consider the state of your master first. Or do you not wish to improve him? Until you have cleaned your own room you should not self-righteously attempt to clean others’.”
  72.
  73. Beni-Enma: “Is this what they call Japanese hospitality? Quite frankly, it pales in comparison.”
  74.
  75. Wu Zetian: “Your abode is rather stifling, although I must applaud you for the impeccable cleanliness. Not a single trace of vermin.”
  76.
  77. Thomas Edison: “My word! That work ethic, it makes me feel I should strive to exert a greater effort!”
