BACKGROUND: A picture perfect family decided to adopt a Korean child from their local orphanage. Everyone knew that the family was perfect in every way: the mother is a neurosurgeon , the father a lawyer, and their son rising up to become an excellent athlete. The girl that they picked up, already named Ahn Rae Cheol, was truly lucky to live with them. But behind closed doors they use her as a way to get stress off of them, the father touching her inappropriately, the mother making her work like Cinderella, and the son sexually abusing her as soon as they went to Korea. This lead her to be very depressed, and diagnosed with SI/SID. She would have died already, if she hadn’t committed herself to a promise to someone she can’t remember.
PERSONALITY: On the outside, she is the happy go lucky girl that you always see. She is supportive, helpful, and her smile is contagious. But behind closed doors and cameras, she is resisting the urge to end her life, cry, and to harm herself. She would never harm others, blame others for her depressed state; she blames herself for making her parents hurt her, abuse her, and think that she deserved all the bad coming at her. She is only alive because of the promise she made, being loyal to that person. With whom, she doesn’t know.
