- Tsaaq: ((HERE WE GO.))
- Covet: -Eli pulled up to the house and parked in the driveway. Climbing out of the vehicle he grabbed a box that looked like one of the shipping boxes from the shop. He made his way up to the door and wrang the doorbell. He had a calm demeanor about him as he waited for someone to answer.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss rolled from the kitchen to the hallway with her phone in one hand. "She said if I kept pestering them they would be able to do something!" She said stopping once the doorbell rang. // "Bliss Huberta Maverick! I am tired of trying to explain this to you!" Prudence speed walked behind her with a thin cigarette in one hand and a glass of whiskey in the other. "We have to take to the streets and-" She stood as well as she looked at the door. "Who could that be at this hour?" Prudence asked, sipping her glass and opening the door. "Oh, Elijah, come in. I insist." She greeted, stepping asisde.
- Covet: -Eli grinned as Prudence met him at the door- Hello Prudence, you're looking classy as ever, I'm sorry for showing up so late. I got something in today and needed to drop it by for Bliss after my shift. -He looked down the hall and saw Bliss, giving her a wave- Hello, My Dear.
- Tsaaq: She frowned, lowering the phone to her lap and seeing Eli. She smiled a little. "Hello darling. You got something?" Bliss repeated and went to look at her phone. "I don't remember ordering anything..." She trailed off. // She grinned a little. "Why thank you." Prudence smiled then closed the door. "It's just fine. Jason is out doing go knows what with god knows who's daughter. And Persephone and Andrew are out probably indulging in libations. It's just Bee-Bee and I." She said with disappointment. She went to take a seat at the couch so she could tap the ash off her cigarette.
- Covet: You didn't -He told her with a smile- I did. I wasn't expecting it to come in today. But I got a lovely surprise and wanted to bring it to you. I couldn't wait. -He chuckled and made his way into the living room waiting for Bliss to join them before he sat down-
- Tsaaq: Bliss furrowed her eyebrows and went to roll into the living room with Prudence and Eli. "Surprises." She whispered warily. // She looked over to Eli and smiled a bit. "Oh I can't wait for this." Prudence said, watching the two of them.
- Covet: Don't worry. It's nothing big, just something I thought of a while back. Remember when you told me that Drew wouldn't let you play on his older systems? -he asked her, then handed the box over to her. Inside there was a customized Sailor moon, painted Super Nintendo complete with controllers and the basic games i.e Super Mario Bro.s 1-3, Legend of Zelda, Legened of Gaia, Chrono Trigger, Mystic Quest and Mario RPG.-
- Tsaaq: "Oh my goodness!" She covered her face. "You actually got me this?" Bliss asked as she took the box with a smile, opening it and looking inside carefully at everything. "Well, thank you. You really shouldn't have." She sighed then rolled over to him so she could hug him. "It's so nice, I halfy don't want to play it. But I will anyways." // Prudence finished her cig and sipped her drink. "Oh, that's lovely." She said, quietly applauding. "Though I'd hate to encourage inactivity I know how you young folk like your games."
- Covet: -Eli looked at her and nodded his head- I did. I figured if he wouldn't share his, then you need your own, and I had to make it cooler. It's a recycled system, that was taken apart to be painted, but the controllers have led's in them and were 3-d printed to allow them to be opaque. The games were all ones I hunted down from various places, checked them and they work. -He got up and leaned over to give her a hug, with a big smile- Well so long as it does get played, and you like it I'm happy. -He told her, pressing a kiss to her forehead, then looked at Prudence- Well I'm glad you can at least understand the appeal to them, even if it makes people lazy.
- Tsaaq: She sighed again but it wasn't a burdensome one. "Well still, thank you. Not sure if I should hook it up in my room or somewhere else in the house. I'll figure it out." Bliss closed the box and set it on the coffee table gently. // Prudence crossed one leg over the other and smiled at them. "She can't afford to get content though, so she'll have to limit it but it was still a sweet gesture. She has to start physical therapy soon."
- Covet: Anytime, My Dear. -Eli said, sititng back down then listened to Prudence- Of course, wait...-He looked over at Bliss and raised his eyebrows in a shocked manner- You're going to do it?
- Tsaaq: Bliss pursed her lips and lowered her head. "Daddy insisted that I have nothing to do with my time and if I wanted to stay under his roof I have to..." She said reluctantly. // "Well, I disagree with the why but I'm definitely supportive of you going through with it. Going to the police about actual crimes isn't the acts of a bored young lady by the way. Don't listen to that nonsense." Prudence said, shifting in her seat. "I'm still furious, all the money we donate at the Policeman's ball." She grumbled.
- Covet: Oh...I see. -Eli said nodding his head- I agree. Your dad shouldn't be forcing you to do it like that. But I'm all for getting you into it, you know this. -he said then listened to Prudence agreeing with her- She's right. You are doing a lot to be proactive right now.
- Tsaaq: "That man we talked to acts like what I'm saying isn't real or I'm just starting trouble! It's so frustrating." Bliss started to rant then looked to Eli with a sheepish shrug. "But I suppose we can see where treatment takes me..." She murmured. // She sighed and got up from the couch going to the liquor cart. "Don't worry dear, you'll be walking and picketing in no time. And then they can't ignore you." Prudence said. "And thank you so much for your support Eli. If I haven't thanked you yet."
- Covet: The lieutenant just seemd to want to ignore the problem. He's probably part of the problem in portland. -He said rubbing the back of his neck, then glanced at Bliss, giving her a soft smile- If you aren't fond of it, then we'll look at other options. -He looked over at Prudence and gave an appreciative look- I'm just doing my best to help where I can.
- Covet: *seemed
- Tsaaq: Bliss pursed her lips a moment. "I don't know, we'll see how this goes first I suppose." She told him. "It's too early to tell." Bliss rolled around the coffee table so she could look at her present once more. "We should report that lieutenant." She said bitterly. // She smiled at him and gave him a nod. "Well thank you." Prudence said gently. "I don't think we can report him though. We'd have to try another approach."
- Covet: -He nodded his head- I understand. -Looking over at Prudence he got a thoughtful look on his face- Would you happen to have any ideas for us? Stuff that'd be more effective?
- Tsaaq: She turned to look at Prudence as well. "Gram Gram, these people are impossible. Nobody wants to listen. Nobody wants to care." Bliss complained. // Prudence shrugged her shoulders and turned to face the two of them. "You could always protest loudly in front of the police station-" She started to say jokingly. "Or we could call for a change from the politicians of this state. That seems more peaceful." Prudence suggested.
- Covet: Would it be possible to do both? Work both sides of the issue? That way the public is being notified and the uppity ups can take care of it on their end too? -He asked trying to put together more-
- Tsaaq: Bliss pouted, rubbing her chin with her index finger and her thumb. "We need to expose the school because for some reason they're determined to protect criminals." She said. "The same with the police department. So... Perhaps we can do both." // Prudence walked towards the couch once more. "We could do both. I can help as much as I can. Not sure how much it will help since this is a struggle that has honestly lasted for so long already." She sighed. "But anything is better than nothing."
- Covet: That would be a great help. Maybe we could set up a couple of people. And just gather local support as we go. -He nodded- Especially if you could help us out with the political side of it. I don't even know the first person to start contacting about that. I wonder if there's other advocacy groups we could contact or something.....
- Tsaaq: "Gram Gram... You don't have to. I can do this myself!" Bliss interjected. // "Stop." Prudence said, raising her hand. "I want to help. And I can help with the political side, all the money that I've given for this election so far? I'm sure I've gained a bit of influence over the years. And there are groups, so I'll be contacting them as well." She went over to Bliss and gave her a small hug. "I'm going to my room, we can plan tomorrow."
- Covet: -Eli smiled feeling like they could make some headway with this news. He looked over at Bliss- Any help we can get to put this out there. Would you like to take your gift upstairs and we could hook it up for a little bit? -he asked her- Take your mind off of all of this?
- Tsaaq: She sighed and returned the hug. She watched as Prudence walked off and looked at Eli. "Well, I suppose." Bliss said, smiling a little. "It's not like I have anywhere to be early tomorrow." She answered as she rolled towards the staircase.
- Covet: Then we can have fun into the early hours of the morning. See how far we can get on Super mario before we're tired? -He said with his goofy grin while walking with her over to the stairs. Once there he lifted her up onto the seat for the stair lift and walked up behind her while it went up.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss smirked a little. "Very well." She said as the lift moved and stuff and they went upstairs and all that good stuff.
