[23:11] * Blessed_Blade looks at the bloodied mercenary. She looks at his sword. His poor and abused sword. She sighs. And the strikes. The mercenary's head goes flying, detatched from his body, his sword flying up from his limp hand, caught by Blade who looks at it apologetically.

[23:15] * Xifeng grins and nods to Tide...and delivers a quick kick. The matching impact drives his knee sideways for a moment.
[23:16] <~Earthflame> He grits his teeth, slamming his axe into the ground to steady himself. "You stupid bitches... The Lotus'll get you all, mark my words!" He foams at the mouth, dark spittle staining his beard as he staggers, glaring at all of them. "You'll all be dead or worse!"
[23:17] <Feldi> There's a sigh from behind him and suddenly a sword slices clean through his right leg.
[23:19] <~Earthflame> Falling to the floor he cries out in pain, flailing around wildly with his axe but doing little more than stirring the dust upon the floor.

[23:22] * Xiaozhi busies herself tending to the girls laid out on the beds, checking them over for obvious injury and making sure they're ready to move--or, at least, *be* moved.

The spikes and thorns that lie all across it slowly dig into his neck, piercing through flesh, vein, arterial tissue... then suddenly she yanks and with a loud snap he is brought to the ground... where that one long spine, on the tip hovers over his chest... if none of the others move to secure the kill, it will dive down and pierce his chest, to rip
[23:31] <Rending_Tide> through his blackened heart in a fountain of blood. "Sorry, but we won't be dying here... and you're not worth the time to break~ Give me a good, strangled... choking scream though~"
[23:32] <~Earthflame> His death rattle is low and harsh... Before he finally falls still. The sickly smell of blood mixes with the noxious vapours of the Lotus incense and the low breaths and moans of the girls as they're ferried away... But for now, they have won.
[23:32] <Xiaozhi> "I told you I'd be back," she says, trying to ignore the rest of the scene. "C'mon. Let's get you and the others out of here. I have people here to look after you, to care for you and the girls and protect you in case the Lotus try again."
[23:32] * Blessed_Blade sheaths herself, her body already healing, the cut filling in like it was never there. Living wood!
[23:33] <Blessed_Blade> "Yay! We did it!" Her calm demeanor going back to perky
[23:33] <Xiaozhi> She looks over her shoulder. "Tide--how's your shoulder? Will you be okay for a few minutes, or do you want me to look at it now?"
[23:33] * Xifeng puts her hands to the wall again...and ground the electricity. She crackles for a few seconds and her hair stands up a bit but looks unharmed in the end.
[23:35] <Rending_Tide> Tide falls flat on her ass now. The temporary adrenaline rush wearing off as some of the pain comes through... not nearly what most would be feeling, judging by her lack of screaming, but... still. "I'll... be fine. The girls first, then me. We're taking the bitch back though... I want Xifeng to assist me in teaching her the... error of her ways~"

[23:40] * Xifeng lifts Tide if she wants it or not. She's not huge or massively strong...but she's far from a weakling. "Help with the girls...and drag those bodies out. They are filled with toxins." She pauses "...save the monsters body. It's...wrong. I mean...more than 'Being a poison filled abomination against the heavens'."
[23:41] <Feldi> Anvil steps to Xiao's side, arms still dripping blood but not looking overly fussed about it. "I'll go check the men and women." Anvil moves to help the drugged remnants of this Lotus hell-hole.
[23:43] <Rending_Tide> Tide stands up willingly. "Yeah, I'm going. I just know... Duchess is going to be pissed about me not killing the bitch... at least until she sees the results of our work~"
[23:44] <Xiaozhi> "Also, when people leave, take a look around the room for identifying marks--anything that could suggest it was us down here, beyond proximity."
[23:44] * Xiaozhi is taking charge!
[23:45] <Feldi> Anvil stops by the Monster's corpse, starring down it for a time, stiffening. Shaking her head, she moves to check those in the cots.
[23:45] <Xiaozhi> "And if you find any supplies of pills--do NOT touch them. Under ANY circumstance. They are to be burned or destroyed."
[23:46] * Blessed_Blade runs back with the Guards. She begins looking around the room. Is there anything else? Any doors or passages?
[23:46] <Rending_Tide> Tide quietly sighs. "...Wish we had spotted that before."
[23:51] <Rending_Tide> She raises her good arm up, draping it over Xifeng's shoulders. "Thanks for the help."

[00:04] <Rending_Tide> Tide gives a pained nod. "I'll get plenty of information out of the woman we took out, before I make her into a good little servant... I think it's only fitting after what they've done, no? Some revenge for him too..."

[00:08] <Rending_Tide> "Nothing nearly as cruel as what the Lotus does... but I want you to help me... I think this is something you need to learn now, instead of later. [00:26] <Xifeng> "Look, we'll get you into bed and I'll start cooking something for everyone who can eat. We don't have power yet...but I can still cook us something." She tightens her arm around the other girl, supporting her back to her room.

[00:31] <Rending_Tide> Tide's room is just upstairs... and while nowhere near as extravagent as her room on the ship... yet(she hasn't had time to bring her things over) it still looks... very clean. Seems she's spent several hours cleaning up every corner of it, making it all nice and neat. "I want to apologize for being so rough back on the boat."

[00:37] <Rending_Tide> "At least I didn't have to tie you up like I did 3rd."

[00:40] <Xifeng> "Only some of the talking...the loud parts. And umm...the bit afterwards." She leads Tide over towards the bed, if there is one. If not, she'll organize the sleeping bags and whatever matresses she can find.

[00:41] <Rending_Tide> "Which parts specifically..." Tide lies down in what passes for her bed for now.
[00:42] <Xifeng> "The...umm..." She gestures by putting a finger between her large, plump lips. "...or do you mean the talking?"
[00:44] <Rending_Tide> "I mean the talking... I figured you heard the... other part."
[00:44] <Xifeng> "Oh...not much of that. Just that there was talking mostly. I was...umm...distracted."
[00:52] <Rending_Tide> "Ah... I thought you might have... nevermind. It's not important."
[00:53] <Xifeng> "Huh? Sorry, I...now I'm confused. Anyway...umm...water? Something hot to eat?"

[00:58] <Xifeng> She nods and goes to find water. She quickly comes back with...less than stellar water. Water is something else this place really needs hooked up. "Umm...I can fix this."

[01:02] <Xifeng> She gets out a couple of beakers and bottles from the bag she was carrying for the fight...and starts setting them up. Before long, she has a small steam distilation system set up. "It's not enough for a heap of people until we get power...but this should help a bit." She puts her hand under one part of it...and the water starts to boil...
[01:03] <Xifeng> "So...what did you think I heard before you..." She licks her lips. "Umm...yes."
[01:05] <Rending_Tide> "Just uhh... something 3rd knows about, that she's promised to tell anyone about.... this is really impressive."
[01:07] <Xifeng> "It's basic high school chemistry. That and some fire chi...but it's nothing you can't do easier with a camping hot plate." She blushes.

[04:47] <SavageWolfDuchess> "It's more than just that, though. They hunt her down." She grunts lightly. "Don't know why. The Princess said I'd need to figure it out. I think Cub knows, but... she doesn't want to tell me. And i'm fine with her keeping secrets."
[04:49] <Xifeng> "Well, if they turn up, I'll show them that Hell means I can hit them and not get arrested." She gives a grin.
[04:49] <SavageWolfDuchess> "Hah. And that they burn like anyone else?"
[04:49] <Rending_Tide> "I'll happily throw them to the sharks, for meals."
[04:50] <Xifeng> "...ish. Some don't. I don't burn well, or electrocute well. They don't like water even more than me though."
[04:53] <SavageWolfDuchess> "Hah. Fair enough." The Duchess leans back with a tired sigh. "Mmf..."
[04:53] <Rending_Tide> "So we throw them in the sea. Let the sharks eat the bodies... You alright Duchess?"
[04:56] <SavageWolfDuchess> "Seeing what was left of the women the Lotus had... took some out of me," she says. "... I hate seeing people... abused like that. And knowing I can't help them any more than I already have." She growls lightly.
[05:00] <Rending_Tide> Tide pats her on the back. "I know you wanted to see them all die... but if it's any consolation, we'll get a lot of information out of the spear bitch before she fully breaks."
[05:03] * Xifeng walks over and gives Duchess a hug
[05:07] <SavageWolfDuchess> "More than just that." She sighs, shaking her head. "Some of those women are... broken. Horribly." She hugs Xifeng back. "And... I'm not a doctor. I'm not a psychologist or anything. All I'm good at is fighting."
[05:09] <Rending_Tide> "We have doctors though... good ones. ...Maybe not enough to heal what they did to their enslaved 'monster' but... those women will recover. Remember, even the best doctors can't cure a patient inneed... if nobody is there to fight through the hordes and rescue her."
[05:10] * SavageWolfDuchess growls lightly. "I know. Doesn't make it any easier."
[05:11] <Xifeng> "I'm neither. I'm an engineer. I can't fix them with a monkey wrench."
[05:12] <Rending_Tide> "Once Xiao patches me up some... I'll help you take your mind off some of the frustration, alright?"
[05:15] * SavageWolfDuchess nods. "... Thanks." She carefully reaches over to give Tide a hug. "Just... urgh. I was in a bad position myself before the Cult found me, but I wasn't that bad. I hope they get better... I really goddamn do."
[05:19] <Rending_Tide> "They will... you'll see. Just give it some time and they'll be clear as crystal seas. You want to talk about something less depressing though?"
[05:20] <Xifeng> "...any suggestions?"
[05:20] <SavageWolfDuchess> "How we're gonna break in the new girl?"
[05:22] <Rending_Tide> "Blade? ...She's more innocent than I was as a newborn."
[05:22] <Xifeng> "...which one? The evil one, the one you and Anvil spent like half an hour pumping full of stuff or the swordlady?"
[05:23] <SavageWolfDuchess> "The sword lady."
[05:24] <Xifeng> "Alright." She shrugs "Does she need breaking in?"
[05:24] <Rending_Tide> "...Still got to try out Anvil and that Forest girl. I'll do that later though."
[05:25] <SavageWolfDuchess> "Well... she's just so... INNOCENT. It's cute." She grins, making an appreciative growl in her throat. "And arousing, too."
[05:26] <Xifeng> "...that's a scary concept." She takes a step backwards from Savage Wolf Duchess.
[05:27] * SavageWolfDuchess pats Xifeng on the head. "I'm a slut, what can I say."
[05:28] <Xifeng> "I'm going to retreat to a safe distance." She gives a hint of a smile though.
[05:29] <Rending_Tide> "I am too. I was talking to Xifeng about it earlier, how you shouldn't repress your desires until they overflow, instead let them out naturally."
[05:32] <SavageWolfDuchess> "Mmm hmm. Helps prevent chi blockages and stuff like that. And it's a great way to pass the time." She stands up and stretches with a sigh. "Anyway, I need to go check on Cub. She was gonna take a bath after helping with the girls, and she's more shaken than I am."
[05:33] <SavageWolfDuchess> "See you two later." She grins at the pair, and heads out.

[05:43] <Rending_Tide> "Not off the top of my head... or, nothing you would want to hear about anyway. Just more sextalk."
[05:43] <Rending_Tide> "...Have I mentioned that fighting cranks my drive up about tenfold from its already abnormally high state?
[05:45] <Xifeng> "...that's worrying."
[05:52] <Xifeng> "...you are too injured to jump me, right?"
[05:53] <Rending_Tide> "I think it's pretty normal actually... and yes, I can't go after anyone who isn't willing to be on top right at this moment."
[05:53] <Xifeng> Xifeng looks relieved...and a little disapointed.
[05:55] <Rending_Tide> "You know, if you keep showing just how blatantly you really want a good, strong fuck, some guy is going to jump you on the streets, probably a gang of them. At least if it's here with us, you know we'll all treat you well."

[10:00] <Blessed_Blade> A knock on Anvil's door a short while after the fight. Medical attention has happened and people are healing. It's a somewhat direct knock, done three times, very quickly.
[10:04] <Blessed_Blade> "Miss Anvil, are you there?" Blade's voice can be heard on the other side, sweet, perky, innocent.
[10:04] <Feldi> "Come in." As the door opens, Blade would see Anvil is sat on an old-uncovered mattress, sheathed sword at her side along with a bag of supplies.  Her arms are bandaged from elbow to wrist.
[10:05] <Blessed_Blade> "Are you okay?" there's a bandaid on her cheek, the wood beginning to heal itself over. Probably. She seems worried but not overly so.
[10:07] <Feldi> "Xiao did a good job. You don't have to worry." She smiles at the living sword and pats the space next to her on the bed, inviting the girl to sit.
[10:08] * Blessed_Blade sits herself down. She looks at the bed, and at the jian. She smiles. "What's his name?"
[10:12] <Feldi> "His name?" Anvil follows Blade's gaze to her jian. She lifts it up with two hands, placing it across her lap. "He doesn't have one yet."
[10:14] <Blessed_Blade> "Oh." Her voice seems almost disappointed. She leans against Anvil's shoulder, hand reaching out to touch the sheath. She giggles a little, as if enjoying the touch, before drawing the blade slightly, running her hands along it.
[10:15] * Blessed_Blade looks up at Anvil, eyes locked on hers. "He loves you. But he wants a name."
[10:17] <Feldi> Anvil nods, then taps Blade's head with her own. "Then he'll have to wait.  Sword Devils never name things until they're complete and this blade still has a way to go until then.  Until then...if he wants a name, it will be Nameless."
[10:18] * Blessed_Blade stops and nods. "He'll wait. He's good at waiting. But he's glad you trust him and love him."
[10:18] <Blessed_Blade> "...can...you take a look at me? I barely remember anything before...I had a name. But I know it wasn't the name I had originally earned. But I don't remember it." She makes a bit of a face.
[10:22] <Blessed_Blade> Her perky voice having faded. She sounds almost scared, nervous, drawing herself out and nervously handing herself over.
[10:22] <Feldi> "I'd be happy to." Anvil gives the girl a soft smile before fully sheathing her own sword, placing it on the other side of her body.
[10:24] * Blessed_Blade woudl probably blush if she had a working circulatory system. Instead she just scooches in tighter.
[10:25] <Feldi> She takes up Blade's form carefully, once more admiring the balance of the blade, even in its sheath. "I do wonder who made you. This, you, are work worthy of one of the Sword Devil masters..." She works her way down the sheath, searching for any flaws or damage.
[10:27] * Blessed_Blade takes her sheath form a moment later! there's a small crack...barely anything, covered by the bandaid that was on Blade's cheek.
[10:28] * Blessed_Blade 's sheath is a white spruce wood, silver accents, black markings up the sheath, chased in red colored jade and a few pink gems. The same color and motif as her blade0self
[10:33] <~Earthflame> The blade is fine, but... It is not complete. Anvil can sense that. Perhaps it was never finished, perhaps it has not yet fully awoken. Whatever the reason may be, there is great power within the blade that the girl before her is only barely tapping into. She can sense a deep, resonant well of Chi lying beneath the surface of the steel, pure and clear... Wait. No. There is something else there...
[10:33] <~Earthflame> A faint hint of a stain, a slight tarnish only visible when the blade catches the light...
[10:37] <Feldi> "Stay like that for me..." Anvil reaches over into her bag pulling out a few supplies. Lacquer, varnish, lemon oil, and cotton balls for application. "I feel your cut will heal by itself, but I might as well clean you up while you're here."
[10:38] <Blessed_Blade> If she could nod, she would. Instead the sword stays still. The sheath remaining as it is.
[10:38] <Feldi> Anvil gets to work treating the sheath form of Blade and the sword's hilt. Treating each part, and material, as needed to give it an even sheen, wiping away all the dirt and dust that may have accumulated.
[10:39] <Feldi> She hums to herself as she goes, some half-forgotten song from her youth.  After some time, she pronounces her work on the sheath done. "You can transform back now, if you want."
[10:41] * Blessed_Blade is by Anvil's side a moment later, a slightly blissed out look on her face. Relaxed as opposed to pleasured though. "A-Aaah. Thank you Miss Anvil~"
