  1. Wait I know this song! I used this song for Waypoint Marker! Thank you Michi!
  2.
  3. Menu click and hover sounds are often overlooked. Thank you for including them.
  4.
  5. Hell yeah an actual tutorial!
  6.
  7. Oh man some of that text disappeared waaaay too fast.
  8.
  9. I'm a toggle to ADS person, but you might want to make toggle vs. hold to ADS an option.
  10.
  11. Wow the pistol seems really bad.
  12.
  13. What would have happened if I didn't have enough machinepistol ammo to destroy the wall?
  14.
  15. Ooooh you can dash through the walls.
  16.
  17. Maybe the pistol actually is good, it's just that that guy had armor?
  18.
  19. I missed the text popup for the overdrive X ability because I was messing around with wall running and dashing and stuff. I knew I missed something, so I went into the controls to find what key it was probably referring to. The options calls it "Ability".
  20.
  21. Okay yeah it was definitely an armor thing.
  22.
  23. Again, I missed the text for the demo charges, this because I was looking at the demo charges trying to pick them up. They didn't disappear when I picked them up so I was a bit confused about if that was a bug or maybe they respawn infinitely but either way I missed the text and went into options to find the hotkey.
  24.
  25. That text goes by so fast. I saw "enemies in rapid succession" while throwing grenades and exploding them on the guys so I totally missed it. I assume it's something where killing guys really fast makes your dash/reflex meter go up faster? I'm just guessing.
  26.
  27. Are hitmarkers only when in slowmo?
  28.
  29. Bunny hopping is strong.
  30.
  31. Oh hell yeah I love how this level already looks.
  32.
  33. What determines which number slot a weapon goes into? I picked up the carbine so it's number 1. I wonder if maybe there's only two weapons at a time?
  34.
  35. Those guys who had their back facing me did not react at all to me throwing a demo charge in front of them and then detonating it.
  36.
  37. I died on the underground part.
  38.
  39. Okay weapon order seems to be based on the order you picked things up in. That's not my preferred way of doing it unless there's a good reason it's like that.
  40.
  41. I actually don't know what the blue meter does.
  42.
  43. The way that ADS slows you down so much, especially on the pistol and machinepistol, I'm not a big fan. For the rifle it makes a bit more sense in my head.
  44.
  45. I keep dying in the underground area.
  46.
  47. I busted through a wall in slow mo behind some guys and shot them before they could do anything. That was cool.
  48.
  49. Noticed the wall this time that takes you on the lower level of the underground. Found the grenade launcher. I feel kinda dumb for not noticing it before (this is good).
  50.
  51. This does not look like a standard shipping container size.
  52.
  53. Okay I think I'm starting to get the hang of this, though it sort of has the Titanfall problem where the funnest thing is running around and jumping like an idiot, but that also unsettles your aim quite a bit and you're so fragile and the enemies have practically hitscan shots so that ends up discouraging you from doing that and sometimes just playing it like COD instead.
  54.
  55. The thing where your player doesn't have a shadow but your guns do so when you see your shadow you look like floating guns.
  56.
  57. The thing where to pick up items quickly on top of a box you jump on top of the box instead of just walking into them.
  58.
  59. I really love the GoldSrcy way this game looks by the way.
  60.
  61. Oh thank god I don't have to do the whole level over from the start. I got to the part where there's a big clearing and a big building on the other side of the room you can see into. Some of the guys in the building are basically "man standing emoji" until I shoot them even though other guys in the buildings were shootig me. I was doing fine(ish) until I thought I would be clever and drop down on some guys that were trying to run up to me but there were like 6 guys there and they gunned me down really quick. This is the kind of Titanfall Achilles Heel tension I was talking about. Running and jumping feels really good, so you want to run around like a maniac but the game kind of punishes you for doing it.
  62.
  63. The guns overall feel good, but you really need empty shells. Needs bullet holes too. The blood splatters on the wall and on impacts are really good though.
  64.
  65. The AI is pretty decent. I like how they throw grenades when you break line of sight and there were a couple times where they surprised me by showing up next to me when I was shooting at another guy. I'm stuck on this part though with the big outdoors area and building. I have no idea how you'd beat this without the carbine and that's not really working for me either.
  66.
  67. I think the problem I'm running into is that all the coolest stuff, like e.g. busting through walls to get behind somebody, is so risky, or just a total shot in the dark, because you don't know what's on the other side of the wall, so it feels like I'm discouraged from doing it.
  68.
  69. You know, I'm kinda surprised that you can't blow up the crates that weapons and stuff are often sitting on top of.
  70.
  71. When you get too close to a thing, the box around it starts to act weird. E.g. on the switch to open the gate.
  72.
  73. Speaking of the switch to open the game, I'm pretty sure it was the switch to open that metal door that was near the broken bridge, but it's pretty uncommon in modern games to have a switch not do something very obvious when you press it. Like, when you play Dark Forces for example, there's a lot of levels where you hit a switch and have no idea what you just did because you can't see what door you opened. This has the text on it to tell me it's the gate switch, but if it didn't, I would have zero clue what happened.
  74.
  75. Retracing your steps and seeing all the blown up walls and blood is really cool. It's too bad the bodies seem to despawn and it'd be so sick if there were bullet holes and empty shells and debris and stuff that persisted for a long time too.
  76.
  77. Oh shit that's a good shotgun.
  78.
  79. Just entered the Facility. This is a really long demo goddamn.
  80.
  81. It seems like when I changed level it didn't persist that I had picked up a shotgun? I had the handgun back from before I switched it for the shotgun. For the record my weapons were 1. Machinepistol, 2. Carbine, 3. Shotgun, 4. Grenade Launcher.
  82.
  83. Okay the shotgun has a laser sight, but I'm not sure it's correct? I wasted a couple shotgun rounds to test to see if is, but I don't think so. I think the bullets always go the center of the screen, not where the laser is pointed? I don't like this ambiguity.
  84.
  85. It seems like there's a rate limit to how quickly you can pick things up? Like there's a "rate of fire" to how fast you press F to pick up items. It's one of the reasons I keep standing on top of boxes.
  86.
  87. I can't shoot through the barred fence! Why can't I shoot through the barred fence?! The gaps are so big I could probably fit through them!
  88.
  89. I died again and the checkpoint is basically at the beginning of the factory level...
  90.
  91. Actually the shotgun thing puts every gun's iron sights in question now too. I'm not sure anything aims where the sights are pointed, and that maybe they're all actually shooting to the center of the screen.
