Talent Night - Food Directions

I ordered pizzas for delivery at 6 PM. I paid for pizza already. Do not let any delivery guy claim he needs money at delivery.

Give Waters boys (especially middle-aged boy) 1st crack at Manco & Manco pizza. (AKA  Ketchup on Cardboard with White Rubber. But they like it.)

Give Tanner 1st crack at Capri pizza


Ask Sue how many bags of salad mix. If you buy kits with dressing included, do not use all dressing in pouches. Go light on dressing. I have heard people at Beach Week complain about too much dressing. Never about too little. Leave dressing out. People can add more.


For soft drinks I think

    1 bottle of fancy no-corn-syrup lemonade
         1/2 gal or close size. Fancy brands get fancy prices (more). And give
         fancy quantities (less). Like 50 oz. vs 64.

    1 jug cheap lemonade. 1 gal.

    1 jug cheap iced tea. 1 gal.

Give fancy lemonade to Maria to dispense as she sees fit. She will probably put it out with rest of drinks. But I would not want Willow to have to drink (horrors!) corn syrup. It will not be a horror for Willow. It night be for Willow's mother.


For beer, check with Steve or Mike Miller. See how much left vs. how much people likely to drink by tomorrow. Shaun's answer will always be 'Buy more beer'.


Bring a big cooler to Susan's. If no big cooler at Harvard, try Anne's.

Unless cooler already has lot of ice, buy at least 10 lbs ice. As fancy bartender you may not have to load bottled drinks in cooler much. Drinks in first. Ice on top.

Place cooler parallel to short wall that connects kitchen, living room, and hallway.


I could not reserve cake. I could have if I had called Acme yesterday. Go to Acme in person. Pick 1 large sheet cake if Acme has one. If not, pick 2 smalls.
