  1. Avery says, "Corporal Matlida needs you."
  2. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "I see."
  3.
  4. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "I will follow."
  5.
  6. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "..."
  7. "I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm--"
  8.
  9. Frustrated.
  10.
  11. While he didn't expect his fists to plow through an entire demon army, there was certainly cause for concern over him not being able to topple a single one.
  12.
  13. As Freda steps over to him, he aims to move away and gesture for both Hoss and the Bohm to follow him to the east, near the markets.
  14.
  15. "She's uh... Matilda can explain."
  16. (Newt)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. Gallagher would cross the name off his ledger.
  20. (Gallagher J. Hoss)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. Matilda zos Dalen exclaims, "You're useless Avery!"
  24. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "A fascinating source of potential research."
  25. Avery says, "I did tell them."
  26. Matilda zos Dalen exclaims, "Lieutenant!!"
  27. Avery says, "They just."
  28. Avery says, "Took their time."
  29. Matilda zos Dalen exclaims, "Oh, thanks!"
  30. Avery says, "Matilda."
  31. Avery says, "god."
  32. Gallagher J. Hoss asks, "Corporal, are you alright?"
  33. "I'm fine!" The corporal said, nodding. Her eyes glazed over to the little glalery arriving to the scene. Under her command they'd set up a perimeter around the stall, and the man was handcuffed and complaining.
  34.
  35. "This guy kept saying I didn't have enough rank to claim the stall!" Her expression soured. "Anyway- I'm sure Newt's already told you everything, so here it is! All contraband now!"
  36. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. Avery says, "... this doesn't concern me."
  40. Gallagher would awaken his creative flesh brain from its regular several hour sleep period as his mechanical brain shuttered at low battery. Yet, it was certain he was at least still capable of receiving the intelligence gathered.
  41.
  42. "Yes, I've recollected what I've heard of the matter. A demon nest, a group huh? Good, we need faces. Titles, descriptions. Dossiers. Anything the Eagles can use on the frontlines to identify and prepare for possible strengths and weaknesses."
  43.
  44. The lieutenant would nod steadily, taking a thoughtful drag of his cigar as he mulled upon the matter, his burning hazel eye glancing off ponderously acorss the glistening, azure sea with a click of his teeth.
  45.
  46. "While the capture of the corporal is logistically problematic, it may offer us deeper insight if we allow her to remain in captivity for a time, give us a chance to develop counter measures for the machine against their corruption by reclaiming her at a later time."
  47.
  48. The lieutenant would tap his chin. Yeah, that was machine brain talking. Pretty cold blooded.
  49.
  50. "Regardless, fine work. Corporal Newt, Corporal Dalen, each of you are to write a detailed report of the matter and deliver it your captain. It is of utmost importance intelligence is well spread in a functioning brigade. Matilda, anything you confiscate, just make sure it keeps the Eagles well equipped."
  51.
  52. Hoss would nod lightly.
  53.
  54. "Calm before the storm."
  55. (Gallagher J. Hoss)
  56. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  57. Avery says, "..."
  58. The corporal stood at attention while those men she ordered started piling potions and ores up rudely and others watched. A little unsteady, she didn't look too despondent about the loss of Corporal... uh...
  59.
  60. Of the BRAVE Barsburg Corporal that had served beside her. Her sombre expression threatened to leak into a smile, as if pleased with her quick thinking.
  61.
  62. "Yes, sir! I'll get to writing a report. There were a few people present. One of them was a drakanite, green hair, looked a little like that woman over there..." her eyes fell over to Raeliana.
  63.
  64. "... Oh, actually, it was her!"
  65.
  66. The shock on her face was slow to creep, as if not registering why they might've come so boldly to Osrona after that incident.
  67. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. Alphonse Hesse whispers: I don't have the key to the prison if I end up beating the fuck out of this woman..
  71. Alphonse Hesse whispers: shes gonna be left bloodied on the floor..
  72. Gallagher J. Hoss whispers: It's in the castle, right turn, another door north, should be accessible.
  73. Alphonse Hesse whispers: In hind sight i could just get rid of the body - carve into her chest and pop both her lungs and send her down ocean with a metal brick and she will never be seen again..
  74. Gallagher J. Hoss whispers: If it's locked? Yeah, that's fair. Or just let her go with a message sent. It's at your regard soldier
  75. Gallagher J. Hoss whispers: What level of force you think appropriate.
  76. Alphonse Hesse whispers: What exactly in here is contraband the magi bane?
  77.
  78. She had ran, all the way into Osrona, instead of her usual leisurely floating. She was panting, and she rested against a nicely placed barrel even as Matilda pointed her out. She struggled to breathe, for only a moment, before her clawed hand slammed against the barrel.
  79.
  80. "MY FUCKING SHIT!" She shouted, breaking the disposition of a typically peaceful Drakanite. "You are not..... Taking my stuff." She managed out. She breathed heavily for a few more moments before she eventually caught her breathe, waving her hands wildly.
  81.
  82. "You are NOT taking my stuff! That is stuff I HAVE MADE! It is my HORDE! You will TAKE IT! Do I make myself CLEAR?!" She exclaimed, carefully enunciating particular words.
  83. (Raeliana)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85. Avery took a long.
  86.
  87. Deep.
  88.
  89. Disappointed inhale before looking towards LT Hoss. If there was any time for the hound to do what he had to do, it would be -this- particular time to do such.
  90. (Avery)
  91. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  92.
  93. Alphonse Hesse says, "Oi.. calm the fuck down your fucking out-numbered by a long shot - I suggest you sit down and here what I have to say or I can brig you and let walter talk to you later."
  94. Matilda, too, looked towards Hoss- but she understood that sometimes the Lieutenant's robo-brain took a few seconds to turn on. So she'd face Raeliana and pre-heat the oven.
  95.
  96. "Uh... no!" she'd reply childishly, before straightening. "You're under arrest for attacking Barsburg corporals and injuring Newt. Conspiring with demons. And... uh, public nuisance."
  97.
  98.
  99. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101. This was his route right - as a authority member although - what is contraband hasn't really been expressed so there was no need for a big deal out of this just yet - it's the continuation of selling contraband is the big problem.
  102.
  103. The sergeant would take off his black leather gloves and place them on the table as he sends on hand to pinch against the bridge of his nose.
  104.
  105. "Oi.. stop that - they can surrender - save the violence to see if they are going to run or make this hard on themselves.."
  106.
  107. He would say - before trying to calm the angered soldiers down. "You can come over here - And explain your actions without being harmed.. so I suggest you take the seat."
  108. (Alphonse Hesse)
  109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  110. A hand raises up to run through the length of his messy hair, still in mild disbelief that the drakanite had shown up.
  111.
  112. With his left arm still limp and his minor wounds untreated, the pugilist raises his one good fist and frowns.
  113.
  114. "When I asked for a rematch, I wasn't expecting it to be this soon. But..."
  115.
  116. He had to redeem himself.
  117.
  118. Sliding into a lowered stance, the corporal looks towards the woman and winces again.
  119.
  120. "Y'can't be our enemy and have a shop here. Right?"
  121. (Newt)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. Alphonse Hesse whispers: do these corporals listen at all?
  125. Oh, Good, A criminal! Finally someone to arrest and place behind bars, Good day to be with the authority!
  126.
  127. Freda opened her coat some, Moving to rest a hand on the top of her holstered pistol, squinting her eyes at the fireblood as Matilda seemed to have been doing all the talking. She was going to assume just following the lead, but now..
  128.
  129. It was time to be the voice of reason and talk it out.
  130.
  131. "Corporal Matilda is accusing you of crimes as stated before, Thus if she feels the rights to seize your property is needed, then so. Currently the sergeant would like to talk to you to make your point and defend your honor."
  132.
  133. Tilting her head to the side for a moment, Not bothering drawing out her weapon as she gestured over to Hoss and Hesse at the table.
  134.
  135. "I suggest you comply and move to sit down and talk to them, They'll be your judges on this case."
  136. (Freda Von Bohm)
  137. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  138.
  139. Gallagher J. Hoss whispers: Don't worry, I've an effective notion concocted.
  140. Lieutenant Hoss would take a thoughtful drag from his cigar as he clicked his teeth together with contemplation, a flash of recognition regarding it was the same drakan priestess he'd met early on in the occupation.
  141.
  142. How time flew.
  143.
  144. "Ah, greetings and salutations again miss jade dragon. As you might recall, I am Lieutenant Gallagher J. Hoss, and it occurs to me from my subordinates reports that you were....aiding and abetting demons? Usually easy to write off as a miscommunication matter. However..."
  145.
  146. Hoss would tap his chin.
  147.
  148. "One of ours was captured. And that makes it a problem. Now, there's benefits to this problem, but even the most useful malfunction is, at its core, a malfunction."
  149.
  150. Hoss would gesture to the injured Newt, then to the air above.
  151.
  152. "Needless to say, your goods are forfeit to the machine, and you'll need to come with us for questioning. Submit peacefully, and perhaps your confiscated goods may in part be returned, once necessary criminal fines are processed. Avery, Newt, handle this. Matilda, take note unless you're particularly itchy on the trigger finger."
  153. (Gallagher J. Hoss)
  154. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  155. There's a glance paid to Alphonse, as he suggested she sit down and explain, or go to prison and speak with Walter. There's a wince of her features, briefly, before her gaze shifted back to Matilda.
  156.
  157. "I didn't injure him! He's PERFECTLY FINE!" She said, gesturing to Newt. Given he had just come across a razor sharp arcanium sword, he was... Actually pretty uninjured, all things considered!
  158.
  159. But the Sergeant himself seemed to desire to give her a chance to get through this without being harmed, and while Newt pointed out the obvious that she couldn't be their enemy and have a shop within Osrona - she stared at the stall as it was being packed up and there's a great deal of emotion that overcomes her.
  160.
  161. "my stuff...……." She murmured, voice trailing off, as if she were nothing but a child watching it's favourite toys being taken away. For that was what this amounted to, in the end. Freda spoke up, echoing the sentiment. And then last but not least?
  162.
  163. The Lieutenant spoke up, greeting her respectfully. Her tail lashed angrily against the cobblestone of the marketplace several times, and was even in danger of knocking crates over with it's overzealous thumping. Anger clouded her visage temporarily before it eventually.... Faded away.
  164.
  165. "Fine." She admitted, hands being raised only waist high. Her sword was not drawn. "I'll explain things - but I do expect my items back thank you very much! After all, I did assist your General within Theria after all!" She defended, snorting briefly.
  166. (Raeliana)
  167. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  168.
  169.
  170.
  171. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "For the sake of convenience."
  172. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "We'll handle the questioning here."
  173.
  174. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Sergeant, Corporals, take the lead."
  175. Freda Von Bohm asks, "Can I assist with the questioning? Or should I tend to Corporate Newt's light wounds?"
  176. Raeliana says, "I hear there's a pandemic going around."
  177. Raeliana says, "You can never be too careful........"
  178. Avery says, "..."
  179. "Ah! Ack! My bones.."
  180.
  181. Newt dramatically takes a few steps forward, still holding his limp arm.
  182.
  183. "Thank you for complying, Raeliana, but in this condition.." He points his good hand at the stall, to an item in particular. A shiny red gem.
  184.
  185. "I think that's the only thing that can help me make a speedy recovery. Surely that would hel- Ack! Your case." Shameless in his pursuits, the corporal inches a bit closer to the drakanite and leans in a bit for a few extra words.
  186. (Newt)
  187. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  188.
  189. Matilda had a notepad out, leaning against the stall and writing down. Her eyes bulged as Newt spoke.
  190.
  191. "You don't get to bargain with them about that, idiot! It'll be distributed by the higher ups."
  192.
  193. Anyone could tell that the gem was the most important item in the shop- making up over half the cost of everything for sale before being closed.
  194.
  195. She rubbed her nose with her pen in mild irritation, before going back to writing.
  196. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  197. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  198. Newt says, "Oh, right."
  199. Nero did not speak a single word. Instead, the engineer chose to remain with a stern gaze towards Raeliana, one hand going under his cloak; Although at this point, everyone might have already seen him pulling out a pistol from there.
  200.
  201. The baritone of his voice came soon after Newt had spoken. "Lieutenant Hoss is correct." Deep, and yet, a glance was paid towards Gallagher. If he had decided to put those questions towards his own platoon, then so be it.
  202.
  203. Nero did have something to say once Newt engaged in proper whisper. "Corporal Matilda is correct. Although your personal reparations are for you to decide, I believe it'd be much more according to law to follow it instead of pretending it'd help you recover."
  204.
  205. A gem barely did anything on that matter, after all. "The reparations needed will be accounted by the officers, however. 'Lest she decides to settle with whatever offer you make with her; But that would not change the fact that someone was attacked."
  206.
  207. Pink eyes settled on the drakanite's. "And that is something I would not like to see again in this city."
  208. (Nero pyr Aertas)
  209. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  210.
  211. Raeliana exclaims, "But he wasn't in this city!"
  212. Avery gives a very, very ticked off grunt.
  213. (Avery)
  214. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  215.
  216. Nero pyr Aertas asks, "Doing such a public show barely fits me, so yes. Which ones are the parties involved, lieutenant?"
  217. Alphonse Hesse says, "No - I am pretty sure our Therian offical friend here is hellbent on getting their items back.."
  218. Alphonse Hesse asks, "Am I correct?"
  219. Matilda zos Dalen says, "Hullo."
  220. Raeliana exclaims, "Of course!"
  221. Raeliana exclaims, "It's my stuff!"
  222. Raeliana exclaims, "All of it!!"
  223. Alphonse Hesse says, "Then I am sure that you will arrive tomorrow to talk to the general about it and the other crimes you commited - despite the efforts of actually briging you and discussing all of this - I see no reason for a discussion to be held without a suiter to give a final decsion on the matter."
  224. Raeliana asks, ".... You're.... Not keeping me here?"
  225. Matilda zos Dalen says, "Um."
  226. Matilda looks over to the Lieutenants as if waiting for a cue to speak.
  227. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  228. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  229.
  230. Nero pyr Aertas whispers: What?
  231. Alphonse Hesse says, "Theres no reason to - you see you want your stuff - and if it turns out that the general will just let you go any way.."
  232. Nero pyr Aertas whispers: You will let her go, and expect her to come back?
  233. Alphonse Hesse says, "Then it will be a waste of time.."
  234. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Mmm."
  235. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "No."
  236. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "While that would be convenient."
  237. Alphonse Hesse says, "Plus if you don't return that just means your a wanted felon."
  238. Alphonse Hesse says, "OH-"
  239. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "It's better to handle this without a flight risk."
  240. Alphonse Hesse asks, "Whats the risk?"
  241. Avery asks, "Permission to speak, LT Hoss?"
  242. Avery waits, entirely.
  243. (Avery)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. There's a brief look of.... What? Absolute worry that crosses her features, and yet it certainly did not come them mentioning holding her or not.
  247.
  248. Her tail knocked over a crate of oranges, and they went rolling across the marketplace.
  249.
  250. An innocent private slipped on a few and tumbled over.
  251. (Raeliana)
  252. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  253.
  254. Gallagher J. Hoss asks, "The risk of flight?"
  255. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "That is what."
  256. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "A flight risk is."
  257. A great deal of willpower was going into not shit-talking this clueless sergeant. Her lips were drawn thin, practically vibrating on the spot with pent-up commentary. Fortunately Hoss remained of steady conviction and she was spared, if looking visibly annoyed.
  258.
  259. "... Hey, what did those oranges ever do to you?!"
  260. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  261. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  262.
  263. Raeliana says, "..... I don't have wings."
  264. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Yes, permission granted Avery."
  265. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "..."
  266. Raeliana asks, "Huh? Oranges?"
  267. Avery says, "If she doesn't come back, I will go to Theria and drag her down by a broken antler and another half-bent one to face it."
  268. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Fair point on a zoological manner, but sassy in a formal one."
  269. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Mmm."
  270. Raeliana says, ".... Oh. That's an - you know, these things do happen."
  271. Matilda zos Dalen says, "You can't possibly be suggesting letting her go."
  272. Avery says, "I put that on my rank as a Recruit, LT Hoss."
  273. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Avery, I cherish your youthful spunk. Your heart, your dignity."
  274. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "It's touching."
  275. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "But you're compromised on this matter."
  276. Gallagher J. Hoss asks, "Lieutenant Nero, your opinion?"
  277. Matilda zos Dalen says, "Just so you're aware, Lieutenant Nero. We found her in a dark forest consorting with demons. And she tried to stop us even when we were given a chance to leave..."
  278. Raeliana says, "I'm spunky."
  279. Turned to the stall - and then back at the dragon kin. "That's the thing - walter is said to have a good relation with her - and I am sure with his new boasted forces - theira doesn't want any type of ill gotten disturbance from us... at least not at this moment."
  280.
  281. They were all foreign to each other eventually someone will jump the gun. "Not to mention her position in theira right now could cause most of them to jump the gun and run down here in a act of valor to "Save the princess" - which would lead into a bloody battle, from what I have learned they are not -.... civil."
  282.
  283. He paused..
  284.
  285. "On that note I think this will be a good test of trust between us and them - for her to be in such a high place and betray our trust - that's just pulling the many under her into danger..."
  286. (Alphonse Hesse)
  287. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  288.
  289. Turned to the stall - and then back at the dragon kin. "That's the thing - walter is said to have a good relation with her - and I am sure with his new boasted forces - theira doesn't want any type of ill gotten disturbance from us... at least not at this moment."
  290.
  291. They were all foreign to each other eventually someone will jump the gun. "Not to mention her position in theira right now could cause most of them to jump the gun and run down here in a act of valor to quote on quote Save the princess - which would lead into a bloody battle, from what I have learned they are not -.... civil."
  292.
  293. He paused..
  294.
  295. "On that note I think this will be a good test of trust between us and them - for her to be in such a high place and betray our trust - that's just pulling the many under her into danger..."
  296. (Alphonse Hesse)
  297. (Alphonse Hesse)
  298. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  299.
  300. Raeliana says, "Save the prin-.... But I'm not a princess at all! "
  301. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Priestess, close."
  302. Alphonse Hesse says, "It's a metaphor.."
  303. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Similar letters."
  304. Raeliana asks, "What's a metaphor?"
  305. Avery says, "..."
  306. Alphonse slowly starts to look to the ocean beyond the walls
  307. (Alphonse Hesse)
  308. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  309.
  310. Mercedes adjusts her cap.
  311. (Mercedes Moralis)
  312. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  313.
  314. Mercedes Moralis says, "It's-"
  315. Mercedes Moralis says, "..."
  316. Raeliana copies his gaze.
  317. (Raeliana)
  318. Mercedes Moralis says, "Nevermind."
  319. "That settles it then." There was no point in discussing if these were truly the facts- And Nero was far more leaning to believing an uniformed woman than one without it. The hand under his coat leaves its former position, returning to the lieutenant's side.
  320. --------------------------------------
  321.
  322. Avery says, ". . ."
  323. Mercedes Moralis says, "It's when you say-"
  324.
  325. "If they are not civil, it is not my problem. If she is also consorting with demons and attempting to hold our corporals there to stop the information from reaching us; It means she is not up to any good." Tongue clicks a couple of times, and the lieutenant starts moving over to Raeliana.
  326.
  327. "I would advise not to resist, miss. If your words speak true, you will be retained here for a couple of days at worse; I am sure you will learn about our hospitality."
  328.
  329. One hand did a rather gentlemanly gesture, forearm going across his torso horizontally. "Please, with me."
  330. (Nero pyr Aertas)
  331. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  332.
  333. Stares into the depths of darkness as she glances away, seeming to express a look of 'why' to no one in particular.
  334. (Freda Von Bohm)
  335. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  336. Alphonse Hesse says, "I only hope that your Efforts do not go to waste captain - but you have way more sway than me when it comes to the generals. - I support your choice."
  337. Nero pyr Aertas says, "If they do, I will face the consequences."
  338. Palpably shifting on the spot as such an insane scenario was taken to the point of serious debate, a long sigh of relief escaped her lips when the Lieutenant stepped forward.
  339.
  340. With the mini crisis resolved, she returned to writing on her clipboard. Despite the mania about her, her writing at least was neat and refined. A spare glance was given over to Newt.
  341.
  342. They were bonded now, right? Surviving such an ordeal together? Probably meant they should talk or something.
  343. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  344. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  345.
  346. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "I will second Lieutenant Nero's judgement."
  347. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "It is the right call."
  348. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Captain"
  349. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Lieutenant Dalen, deliver your report to the captain of the ongoing situation."
  350. Alphonse suddenly recalls that frantanization within the ranks is met with beheading.
  351. (Alphonse Hesse)
  352. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  353.
  354. Matilda zos Dalen exclaims, "Right!"
  355. She followed suit, keeping a hand openly resting along her belt. Fiddling over with a few fingers on her revolver, Simply observing lieutenant Aertas he went to work, Providing all them sick moves. That was something to be impressed about for sure.
  356.
  357. "Our cells are not that bad, We tend to have a few authority privates clean them during some down time, Ma'am. And I'm sure Lieutenant Aertas is more than willing to have a few bottles of wine sent at his expense to your cell."
  358.
  359. Cocking a bit of a smile on the corner of her lips as she followed closely behind, moving her hand away from her pistol and letting her cloak conceal it. Now folding her arms against her chest.
  360. (Freda Von Bohm)
  361. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  362. There's a brief glance towards Nero as her head inclined as he at least managed to maintain being a gentleman about such affairs.
  363.
  364. "Oh, I already said I was complying." She explained politely. "After all - I wish for my items to be returned to me! Shop too, if I could help it quite honestly." There's a brief pause as a terribly greedy gleam elicits itself within her gaze.
  365.
  366. "You all make me so much money." She admitted, honestly. She'd aim to follow the Lieutenant. Upon spotting Kirill there was a hand which was raised and a cheerful wave followed suit.
  367.
  368. "Greetings Captain Kirill! I'm being arrested for being better than one of your men!" She said, twisting the situation upon it's head.
  369. (Raeliana)
  370. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  371.
  372. Alphonse Hesse says, "......"
  373. Avery says, "..."
  374. Alphonse Hesse asks, "You gonna take that shit newt?"
  375. Alphonse Hesse says, "Punch that bitch."
  376. Probably.
  377.
  378. But in the moment, Newt was too preoccupied running circles in his mind like a hamster wheel.
  379.
  380. Asuma was captured. Raeliana had arrived far too early for a rematch. And despite Freda's advice, the Corporal was still tempted to reignite the heat of battle.
  381.
  382. Teeth grind behind closed lips, and he prepares to depart - only to hear Raeliana's words.
  383.
  384. "She's not better than me at anything, Captain. I slipped on the lavender grass, is all." Daggers are glared towards the Drakanite, but he remains calm. Mostly.
  385.
  386. There is an occasional twitch of a now clenched fist by his side.
  387. (Newt)
  388. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  389.
  390. Alphonse Hesse says, "Becareful what you say - there are no guards in your cell - corporal might throw peanuts at you like some wild animal."
  391. Alphonse Hesse says, "Or...worse.."
  392. Raeliana says, "He...."
  393. Raeliana performed air quotes.
  394.
  395. "Slipped."
  396. (Raeliana)
  397. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  398. Freda Von Bohm exclaims, "The privates might!"
  399. Freda Von Bohm says, "But I doubt any corporal will be throwing peanuts."
  400. Newt says, "Just fists."
  401. Raeliana exclaims, "I welcome the challenge!"
  402. The moment she speaks about being better than the corporals? The Lieutenant moves one hand over Raeliana's mouth to properly shut her up. "There are two lieutenants here- You do not need to give your own version of the story until asked."
  403.
  404. Meanwhile, turning towards the captain, Nero did a salute. "Suspected of consorting with demons and attacked a couple of corporals, sir. One of them is still kept with the demons, from what I gather. These are the charges I'm pulling her in for."
  405.
  406. He did have to respond to all captains.
  407. (Nero pyr Aertas)
  408. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  409. Alphonse Hesse says, "We can actually arrange that right now.. before you go to your cell."
  410. A gathering of familiar faces entered the sights of the captain as he made his way towards his usual spot within Osrona, his heel pivoting to divert his course away from the comfortable stone railing and instead towards the eastern market.
  411.
  412. Plenty of words to listen into.
  413.
  414. Raeliana's gesture caught within his orbs as he offered a nod her way, an eyebrow quirking for the slightest of moments as he adjusted his sight towards the others.
  415.
  416. Lips parted to question the situation, to unravel the mystery that presented itself before Nero's report halted his movement, a scowl visibly took form.
  417.
  418. "I see."
  419.
  420. "Which Corporal has been captured? And High Priestess Raeliana."
  421.
  422. A pause after Raeliana was spoken to, measured steps having him close the distance to be closer towards the group.
  423.
  424. "Consorting with demons. But more importantly, striking out against personnel of the Barsburg military. Detain her, and she can speak her defence behind a cell after matters here have been properly dealt with."
  425. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  426. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  427.
  428. Nero pyr Aertas says, "Lieutenant Hoss. Corporal Newt. Your story."
  429. Nero pyr Aertas says, "I will guide her to the cell."
  430. Nero finally lets go of Raeliana's mouth, only to start guiding her towards the cell.
  431. (Nero pyr Aertas)
  432. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  433.
  434. Freda Von Bohm asks, "Want me to come along just to fill out the offical paperwork, Lieutenant? Or stay here with my fellows?"
  435. She stretched her mouth a bit.
  436.
  437. "Bye bye."
  438. (Raeliana)
  439. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  440.
  441. Nero pyr Aertas says, "Come with me."
  442. Sanity entered the scene like a ray of light through foggy glass. She looked over to Kirill, handing over her report briskly. The girl declined to say anything much after that, folding her arms behind her back and trying to look serious.
  443. (Matilda zos Dalen)
  444. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  445. Awilix Zero says, "I have arrived too late to know what's going on."
  446. Awilix Zero says, "Yet I will linger, and expect an answer."
  447. "Permission to pass out, Captain?"
  448.
  449. The pugilist sways from side to side as things conclude and the report is given. He speaks between the words, lacking the fuel to give Zero the answers she asked for.
  450. (Newt)
  451. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  452. Kirill pyr Orlov says, "Go ahead. Dismissed."
  453. The lieutenant would take a final drag from his cigar as he clicked his teeth together, nodding at Nero's wisdom. Too many people in the cells, the interrogation could grow distracted. He was an expert torturer, he'd get the job done that Nero.
  454.
  455. "Captain Orlov, the corporals were granted permission to inspect a strange stall, and fell upon a demon's nest. From what they report, that priestess was amongst their rabble. One of ours is captured, but they escaped largely unmaimed as I'm to understand."
  456.
  457. Hoss would take a long drag at that.
  458.
  459. "We confiscated her goods and, upon questioning, determined potential coercion and association with their lot. She's being questioned now by Lieutenant Nero right about as you arrived upon the scene."
  460.
  461. Hoss woulkd nod with a smile to Lieutenant Zero, taking a seat as he gestured to Matilda.
  462.
  463. "I've ordered Lieutenant Dalen to provide you a full written report of the situation. It appears action came to us, Lieutenant Zero."
  464. (Gallagher J. Hoss)
  465. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  466. Would scratch his chin again - thinking about something..... - before abruptly budding in. "Sir, I need to talk to you - or steal your ear for just a moment...- I promise I will say what I have to and then be on my way - it has to do with this whole situation."
  467.
  468. He quickly said..
  469. (Alphonse Hesse)
  470. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  471.
  472. Attention remained over towards the general direction of the castle as Raeliana was moved off, only conveying his gaze towards Matilda when the report was handed off to him.
  473.
  474. A quick skim. The situation unravelling if the report was properly written, the scowl across his mouth remaining until finally that usual stoic mask manifested back into place.
  475.
  476. "What an annoying situation."
  477.
  478. Kirill's words came slowly, thumb slightly digging into the paper before wait was passed over onto the table, slid across for Zero's eyes.
  479.
  480. "Start transporting the goods from her stall to another place. Corporal Dalen, move them towards our headquarters for further inspection."
  481.
  482. One final glance towards the man behind the wooden stall before he returned his sights towards the others, Avery's seagull that appeared had him waving a hand over.
  483.
  484. "What are you receiving now Recruit Avery?"
  485.
  486. A question and a pause as hishand extended outwards for the letter, before again his attention was diverted away to another as he was spoken to.
  487.
  488. "Yes Sergeant Hesse?"
  489. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  490. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  491. A dull stare meets Gallagher's explanation. Would she all this all action? No. She would barely call it dissidence to be squashed. It's more, to her, just some assumed … invoncenience to be had. and deal with appropriately.
  492.
  493. So she kicks feet up on the table and quietly alights a rare to enjoy cigarette and reads said given report. Alight with a flick of the thumb, ears are lent to the discussion agead as she tries to multitask as much information on the scene as she can in a short amount of time.
  494.
  495. A question crosses her and she looks up, however. More than any of this all this clusterfuck nonsense and more than any dramatics and who likes who and can be used and so on and so forth, she cares more,
  496.
  497. about their grunts not being liabilities to the boons Barsburg has brought with them.
  498.
  499. That's good, though. She relaxes. Her tension, brief as it may be, abates. Probably. Unless she's wrong in her assumption that there was not equipment stolen.
  500. (Awilix Zero)
  501. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  502.
  503.
  504. The young lady salutes, her chest out a bit too much.
  505.
  506. "I would like to make the following report:"
  507.
  508. "Only clothes were taken, as they... searched me and gave me new clothes. No physical harm other than back injury."
  509.
  510. [Temp: Serpent's Claw, Serpent's Venom]
  511.
  512. "Szora is a shadow demon, with the capacity to blind."
  513.
  514. "Jiangyu is a demon follower, and she uses some form of occult or poison, or both."
  515.
  516. She then... Prostrates herself, kowtows so low that her head touches the floor.
  517.
  518. "I beg your forgiveness. I not only let them take my clothing, but I had lost a fight. I had no way to leave if my dear friend Shiro had not come to the rescue. He had paid ten thousand for my release. I do not expect compensation to him or myself."
  519.
  520. "Only punishment for incompetence."
  521. (Azuma Suzu)
  522. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  523.
  524. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "..."
  525. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Did she say."
  526. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Surrender."
  527. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "Or were you captured unwillingly."
  528. Gallagher J. Hoss says, "The incompetence is present regardless, but, the level is in question,."
  529. Azuma Suzu says, "I FEIGNED surrender so the demon would fight me."
  530. Azuma Suzu says, "The demon was strongest, so naturally I chose myself to save the others."
  531. Matilda looked to the side.
  532. (Matilda zos Dalen)
