Just a few things I've been thinking about warring wise..

Before I joined EB, this spastic Simon used to make me come to every EB war practice and I remember EB pulling 40 to war practices. Don't really know what changed that because only recently has the ML been smaller than what it used to be.

Eb used to be known for having the highest pull percentages to fullout, but now we can hardly pull 30.

Just a few suggestions and thoughts of mine:

I know that dropping to the bottom of all ladders was being considered but honestly it would be a waste of time because the only active fullout clans are the top 5, so we'd end up right back to where we started.

Whenever there is a fullout, there is a sign up. We usually average out about 50 yes's and about 15-20 maybes, that means we should have around a 60 pull. But yet, we pull 40. EB is a warring clan, I understand there are people who don't wanna do fun miniwars everyday which is understandable, but what's the point of being in a warring clan if you don't even come to the MANDATORY fullouts. Ofc I understand that people have IRL commitments, but there are people who do skill every single fullout.

I suggest that to build up our fullout experience and pulls, we can ask clans for fun matched op wars or fullouts on Friday nights. I remember when I was in Exi, these worked out very well and both clans ended up pulling around 50. This would give us good practice without the stress over winning or ranks.

Miniwarring: About 95% of wars done now are with nex off. EB needs to start having nex off practices because that is just how warring is nowadays. Ik for a fact whenever EB gets a nex off or sigil off war, the same people moan and end up ditching. If all warring is without nex and people don't like nex off wars, what's the point of warring?

Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm not trying to be a bitch.. But it is getting annoying when the same people get banged because they refuse to practice, or the same people just don't go to wars. Simon is making effort to get wars, and it's disappointing when it's just a waste of time in the end for him, and everyone else.

Yes, good one emie. Like whats the point of ditching out in a restricted war? Thinking your going to get banged or something? Dont worry about that and just concentrate on what you need to do better for next time, yes simon mght moan at you but thats simon (ily<3), but yea fun minis are to improve and for fun. I will try to get some minis for EB alongside emie and simon, we could all use some work <3

Makes perfect sence Emie, agree 99% with you on this post, only thing i dont agree with is the fridays becouse then loads of ppl are out and we wont pull good, best days are saturday and sunday, then we got atleast 20 ppl in cc.

Wich is why we moved war practices to Sunday.

The problem with Saturday and Sunday is that most clans have ranked wars that day. Friday usually works out well.

Why should people who have Nex be forced to never use it? As you say 95% of wars are Nex off, therefore the only place people get to use Nex is in war pracs; stop this and the people we need to not quit will do so. I agree with the other things though, people getting one hit or tanking 2 brews is just frustrating for everyone, fine if it happens every now and again, no1 is perfect but the last war we had 5 people got 1 hit in all 3 rounds. Also the time of the year contributed to bad pulls as people are back to school/uni and activity in general is low.

The problem is war practise does not teach anyone much, people already know the basics and the people who don't refuse to come anyway. The more advanced the tactics become the less people are good with them, like meleeing the pile. But as soon as you tell someone they're doing something incorrectly you get raged/flamed/trolled the fuck out of. I get it every day with people talking about my Nex/partyhat. If i told people to u/g to divine to stop them getting 1 hit then i would get flamed, 100%. What am i to do? People don't want to be told how to do something, even by Simon or myself.

NB. Last time i tried getting people to do something new i got flamed out of warlord position, so yeah, no matter how much you try people will do what they want to do. Cynical? Maybe, true? Yes.

Making cash for gear shouldn't really be a big issue it just take dedication, just about a month ago i was a cks tank i then upgraded to an ely by doing bosses, and not longer then a week ago i upgaded again to a Divine. so money making so if you want to get better gear like a sigil, bossing is the way to go.

Yeah but if most wars are nex off, wouldn't it make sense to have war practice with nex off. You have to be blind to see that there are people in this clan who only know how to tank in nex and when it comes to restricted wars, they get 1 hit.

Democracy creates peasants and peasants refuse to work and expect to still be equal to the the middle and upper classes in terms of rights , pfft....

It's simple. Work as hard as the people with money to get better gear and stats and then you benefit the clan(society) as a whole. If peasants don't work the entire democracy doesn't work.


We need to turn this democracy into a dictatorship. Dave and Joey take the lead rule with an Iron Fist, show the peasants who is boss and force them to work!!@RWETRYGJHKMN<

The last declaration the Nex ON Sigils ON section of the RSBL had was 3 weeks ago. I have yet to see a fun nex on war since August.

Nex is not used in wars anymore, how hard is that to understand?

There is just a lot of people who are to lazy to work for gear. Then cry because they don't get put in stacked teams e.t.c. Don't cry unless you have put in the effort like everyone else.

Don't ask for stuff of because you can't get it. Thats again called being lazy.

Just like in real life Democracy doesn't work, giving the peasants power doesn't work.

We need leaders to lead not to ask for advice of peasants.

And it is used in wars its because in other clans, the peasants are doing the same..

Just stating some facts about nex, nex off sigils on and nex off sigils off have both become quite popular.

The reason RSB as a whole is favouring Nex off is because every clan has this problem of people not getting over the barrier that Nex costs considerable time and effort. People don't ban chaotics because they are willing to spend the time dunging, but when people are asked to spend 10x the time for 1 piece of Nex gear they're like nty l0l i use mai dfs. James' comments about peasants are a bit unfair but his reasoning is at least relevant.

Actually most people site nex on 10v10's and above being boring >.>. I'm on the RSBL Council so I have to listen to all of those queries. Most people who own nex don't even like the wars, most of them anyway.

Interesting post Emie and thanks for bringing these topical issues to a head.

Firstly, wtf James... though saying that restricted wars are kind of condoning communism :P and nex off war practices even more so.

On the latter point, I understand peoples frustration with Nex, it is hard to get, very powerful and allows the user to tank for longer. However..... it is the best gear for warring and should therefore never be shunned from a warring environment.

If I suggested that we had chaotic off wars the majority would complain saying that chaotics are required and that they didn't have an alternative in their banks (and most likely wouldn't want to buy the weapons; arcanes etc.). I therefore fail to see how it is fair to force nex owners to dig deeper into their pockets to buy nex off gear when they have already expended a huge amount of time and effort to get the gear in the first place.

It seems that warring tries to cater for everybody, some wars for those with no sigils, a lot for those with no nex, the odd and I mean odd war for those who have nex. Surely we should have a happy medium of all three? That would keep everyone satisfied.

I for one have noticed a huge drop in the amount of people upping their gear to nex since we haven't had nex on wars, look at today's war practice, a mere handful had nex, let alone full nex (I for one am guilty of this). It unsettles me that the clan no longer sees the requirement to up their banks to suit the current climate, everyone put the effort in for chaotics so why not Nex? The only reason I can see is because of the time taken, therefore to conclude; people are lazy and...... I quote....."show the peasants who is boss and force them to work!!@RWETRYGJHKMN<".

and most of them never had new gear or have never worked.

SImon worked for new gear at one point.

But some people for instance have never worked for gear and keep on moaning doesn't matter if they have being hacked
