King of the Hill

Goal: Get to the center square (E5xF6) before anyone else! The more rounds you last in the center, the more XP you will get.

Upon entering the 2x2 square, the player's turn automatically ends and they are crowned King. As King, the player receives 2 extra dice, an accuracy boost of +1, and melee attacks become line-3. The King, fat from food, takes up the entire 2x2 square and no one can join him in the center. Unfortunately, due to the King's size, he is unable to react fast enough to use an Attack of Opportunity. Don't worry, though! Being a nice person, the King automatically removes the lava tiles surrounding the center to keep everyone safe (after taking damage himself), but they do reappear once the king is moved off the throne.

The following abilities are deactivated during round 1:
Wormhole (Rifter 6), Glide (Skirmisher 3)
