  1. Pokemon Red/Blue Paras% (Updated as of 08/31/2019)

  3. General notes:
  4. - If you're faster than the opposing Pokemon, and you're setting up,
  5. use Spore again immediately every time it wakes up. If you have
  6. finished your setup, you can avoid using Spore again and just kill it.
  7.  
  8. - Any move or item in parentheses is optional and is usually used to
  9. make fights safer. For example, any time a crit would not OHKO an
  10. opposing Pokemon, you can use (Spore) first so it won't kill you.
  11. Also, if the first move is a damage range, the second move will be
  12. in parentheses since it may not be necessary.

  16. Early game:
  17. - Get PC Potion
  18. - Pick Squirtle, fight rival:
  19. - Bulbasaur: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  20. - Recommended to reset for either 12 Attack or 12 Special at level 6
  21. - Get Potion from Pokemart guy on Route 1
  22. - Kill a level 2-3 Rattata or level 2 Pidgey on Route 1
  23. - Deliver Oak's Parcel
  24. - Get Tree Potion
  25. - Go straight to forest, get Antidote and both Potions
  26. - Fight Weedle guy:
  27. - Weedle: Tail Whip x2, Tackle x4-5
  28. - Get level 8, learn Bubble, heal after
  29.  
  30. Pewter Gym:
  31. - Fight Brock:
  32. - Geodude: Bubble x2-3
  33. - Onix: Bubble x2-3
  34. - If you have bad special and Onix Bides turn 1, cry
  35. - After beating Brock, go to the Mart
  36.

  38. - 5 Pokeballs
  39. - 11 Potions
  40. - 3 Antidote

  42. Route 3:
  43. - The following fights can be done with either Tackle or Bubble
  44. - If one stat is really bad, use the other move
  45. - Just be sure to keep enough Bubble PP for Kakuna + Metapod
  46. - Bug Catcher #1:
  47. - Caterpie: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  48. - Weedle: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  49. - If you get Poisoned, heal after Weedle
  50. - Caterpie: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  51. - Tail Whip is recommended in this fight for badge boosts
  52. - Heal to near full then fight Shorts Guy:
  53. - Rattata: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  54. - Ekans: Tail Whip + Tackle until dead
  55. - Potion whenever necessary
  56. - Try to leave this fight with 10-20 HP

  58. - Weedle: Tail Whip + Tackle x2, or Bubble until dead

  95. - Before Lass, kill one encounter for experience if you can (level 13)

  142. - ALL POISON STINGS BEFORE BILL DO 13-16, 20-24 CRIT
  143. - Grab Rare Candy in Cerulean, then go fight Rival:
  144. - Pidgeotto: (Stun Spore) + Bide
  145. - Gust/Quick Attack = 11-13, 18-22 crit
  146. - Abra: Scratch x2
  147. - If you got Sand-Attack, switch to Pidgey/Spearow
  148. - Rattata: Scratch x3
