  3. OK.
  4.
  5. >Why is dad angel spider so good?
  6. >It really shouldn't work but it does.
  7. -
  8. >It's a redeeming quality
  9. >Also I'd say the whole mix of him being energetic, fun-loving, reckless scamp and yet deep down caring for others which is shown when shit's about to hit the fan
  10. -
  11. >Angel could, ironically, be a pretty good father. Specifically, a "I've fucked up in every fashion you can imagine and I can tell you how to not step in the same holes I did"-type dad. He's been arrested many a time, he's overdosed, he's fallen under the control of a pimp. With a little hindsight, he'd be able to recognize the exact moments he did X when he should have done Y. He'd be the kind of parent who'd tell his kids that if they need him to come get them from anywhere, at any time, they can call, no questions asked, and not the kind of parent who flips shit over their kid sneaking a sip of brandy out of curiosity or some such, ultimately creating an adult who doesn't trust anyone and is really good at being sneaky and underhanded about everything they do.

  13. >Now I'd love to read some Angel Dust dad stories
  14. -
  15. >Another thing: Angel's dad treated him poorly. If he found himself playing the role of patriarch, he'd probably have a strong desire to do a better job with his charges than his dad did with him. He'd make a conscious effort to be patient and understanding with his kids, because he knows first hand how badly it can wreck a person to be screamed at and beaten by someone who's supposed to be a source of safety and stability over something that they have no control over, like their sexuality.
  16. -
  17. >Anyone got stories like this?
  18. >Angel Dust being proper good human/spider bean?
  19. -
  20. >Here's some wholesome smut of him/reader:

  22.
  23. >It makes more sense if you've read this:
  24. https://archiveofourown.org/series/1286831
  25. >But if you haven't, don't sweat it. The shorts are good on their own.
