AiE Chapter 10: A Failed Plan

>Luna(L): "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! I can't stay in here; I have to get out!; GET US OUT OF HERE YOU STUPID MONKEY!!"
"Would you kindly shut the fuck up so I can think!? This wouldn't of happened if it weren't for your damned magic!"
Anonymous and Princess Luna are currently trapped inside of a small cave; nothing could be seen as Anonymous looked for a source of light.
"Damnit, what the hell happened to Twilight?"
>L: "I can't be here...I can't be here."
"Just shut up!! What the hell is wrong with you anyway!?"
Anonymous got up and moved along the small space while feeling along the rocky wall; it was impossible to see anything but darkness inside of the small cave.
"C'mon, c'mon...gotta be some kind of exit...*UGH!*"
Anonymous unexpectedly bumped into what felt like a large wall of boulders; after rubbing his face he felt around the wall and moved a small stone from the pile.
"Ummm...it looks like the walls caved in when we crashed here; Luna! I think we can dig ourselves out of here! Would you mind giving me a little help?
>L"It's dark...I can't see...I'm trapped here again...WHY AM I BACK HERE AGAIN!?"
Anonymous grimaced as he realized that Luna was experiencing some kind of phobia or trauma; the alicorn princess wouldn't be of any use for now.
"Crap, I can't rev up anymore; my body can't take the strain."
As Anonymous sat down with his back against the stone pile he thought back to the situation not too long ago, and how it all went wrong.

"Alright everyone here's the plan."
>Twilight Sparkle(Ts): "Everypony."
"Really Twilight? Really? You choose NOW of all times to correct me!?"
>Ts: "I wouldn't have to correct you if you would just say it right."
>You, Twilight, and Princess Luna are currently surrounded by hexed manticores; who just happened to cross your path while searching for a scroll in the Everfree Forest. As the manticores closed in on everyone Anonymous started formulating a plan.
Luna (L): "Hurry up with that tiny brain if yours talking chimp!"
"Twilight, are there any known weak points the manticores may have?"
>Ts: "Umm, the legs are usually the weak point for any large beast; putting a certain amount of stress on them should cause the manticore tremendous pain."
"Okay, and are there any dangerous things about it I should look out for?"
>Ts: "Anonymous just look at it; what do you think you should look out for?"
"I mean besides the obvious things!"
>Ts: "You should avoid the long tail and stinger of the manticore; the poison in them can be lethal if you're stung too many times."
"Okay...here's how it'll work; Princess Luna, I need you to take the manticore in front of you and lure it away few feet away from the other two. Think you can handle that?
>L: "Hmphf, the hairless monkey severely underestimates me; It shall be but five seconds before the beast falls to me!"
"Twilight, do you think you can take the manticore in front of you and the same? The goal here is to move them all away from each other and take them on individually."
>Ts: "I may not be on the same level as Princess Luna; but, I represent an element of harmony; I won't let myself drag others to the ground."
"Okay, and finally; when one is done with a manticore please help the others who are still fighting. So, is everybody ready?"
>Ts: "Everypony."
"I SWEAR TO GOD TWILIGHT IF YOU CORRECT ME ONE MORE TI--"
>Just then a manticore dived for you; while grabbing its tail you fling it forward a few feet; the manticore rolled before it hit the ground, and quickly sprung back onto its feet before charging at you again.
"Alright everypony! Let's go!" You say as you revved up to forty percent for your entire body; waves of heat could be seen coming off you while you charged at the large beast.
>Ts: "I'll do my best!'
>L: "Hmpf, this is child's play."
>Princess Luna and Twilight both charged at the manticores in front of them while you ran up to yours. The manticore swung its massive paw down just as you reached the mighty beast; you side stepped to the right as the claw broke the ground upon contact.
"You're a strong little kitty aren't you?"
>You kick the paw away from you; cracking one of the manticore's long nails in the process. The beast howled in pain as you circled around it. You were about to grab its tail when it suddenly dissapeared from sight.
"What the!?"
>The tail whipped you across the face at super high speed; causing you to fly through the air, and into a distant tree; the force had caused the tree to split in half and land on top of you. Twilight was dodging a manticore with teleportation when she saw you hit the ground.
>Ts: "Anonymous!"
"Don't worry about me!"
>You sling the broken tree off you and hop back to your feet; a small cut on your arm made a thin trail of blood run down to your hand.
"Heh, I've suffered far worse than this!"
>You crack your knuckles and run back up to the manticore; the beast was prepared as it lashed its tail at you again with the same speed. You rolled on the ground and began to slide until you were directly under the manticore; you then balled your fists and revved them up to fifty percent; the heat waves coming from them intensified as they turned red.
"TAKE THIS!!"
>As the manticore tried to react, you sent a barrage of punches into the beast's stomach; each blow created a loud cracking sound; swinging your right fist back all the way you then punch the beast one final time; sending the manticore flying into the air before it hit the ground again.
"Stupid cat..."
>The manticore didn't move after that, and strangely enough after it was defeated the black cross that was on top of its head dissapeared.
"One down, two to go."
>You look over to Twilight; who was dodging the manticores swipes with teleportation spells, just as the manticore would reach the purple mare she would disappear and reappear behind the beast.
"I'm coming to help Twilight! Just hold on!"
>You were getting ready to run over to help when Twilight called out for you to stop.
>Ts: "No! I can handle this one on my own; it's almost over with, so just watch."
>You weren't completely sure about this, but you decided Twilight was smart enough to know when she needed help or not; you took a deep breath, and calmed down as you felt your body cool off. After you finished cooling down you looked back towards Twilight and the manticore; the beast was panting heavily while Twilight remained calm and unfazed. From the looks of things Twilight had thoroughly wore the beast down by playing cat and mouse; the manticore suddenly stopped moving and started spinning its tail like a drill; apparently the beast had caught on and decided to stop wasting so much energy.
"Careful Twilight, those tails of theirs move at a unbelievable speed!"
>Ts: "I'm fully aware of how fast a manticore's tail can move Anonymous; I brought several books with me about them."
>The manticore's spinning tail sped up to Twilight; although, just before it reached the purple mare's face a bright orb surrounded Twilight; the orb shined brightly as the manticores tail collided with it. You watched as the manticore repeatedly bashed the small orb with its tail, but the defensive barrier around Twilight showed no signs of breaking; the wild beast let out a ferocious roar of frustration; it was showing obvious signs of exhaustion as it swayed back and forth with ragged breath. Twilight suddenly made her small orb burst; the shockwave sent the wild beast falling backwards off its feet; before the manticore could make it back to its feet Twilight ran up to its chest and tapped it with the tip of her horn.
>Ts: "I'm sorry, I know someone else is making you do this..."
>Suddenly a large bolt of lightning erupted from Twilight's horn, the waves of electricity discharged itself upon the wild beast; making it shake violently before collapsing to the ground with singed and smoking fur.
"Damn Twilight, that was...overkill."
>Ts: "I may have put a little too much energy in that spell; I really feel bad that it had to come down to violence in order for it to stop."
>You gently pat Twilight's back as she looked over the unconscious manticore with sympathy.
"It was either them or us; it's sad, but alot of times situations will come down to violence; you did what you had to do to keep yourself safe."
>You and Twilight turn to Princess Luna; who was floating above the viciously snapping manticore that was jumping into the air at her, but the dark blue alicorn simply floated out of the beast's reach when it got too close.
>Ts: "Princess Luna hold on! We're coming to help you!"
>L: "Do not worry Twilight Sparkle; I have the situation completely under control. The foul beast will not know what hit it!"
>Suddenly a large rock came flying at you from behind a nearby tree; you duck out of the way as it crashed into the ground beneath your feet; creating a small crater where you were just standing.
"What the hell is wrong with you Luna!? Are you trying to kill me!?"
>L: "My aim was not at its best."
"Bullshit!! That rock came straight at me you damned lunatic!"
>Ts: "Everypony please! Calm down!!"
>L: "You've been trying my patience hairless monkey! Silence yourself, or feel the wrath of Princess Luna!"
"Why don't you say that a little bit closer to my face? Not in the sky and see what happens!"
>L: "Is that a challenge you hairless monkey!?"
"You know what? I could've cared less if you didn't like me or not, but you take it to a whole new extreme! You have one of your guards knock me out! You flip a table on me! Then you repeatedly insult me with this 'hairless monkey' nickname I seem to have been given, and now you try to kill me!?"
>L: "I didn't try to kill you hairless monkey, I simply did not aim properly; besides, the hairless monkey deserved all the previous statements for your attempted rape--"
"Attempt rape!? What new bullshit is this Luna? Your now saying that I tried to rape you!?"
>L: "The hairless monkey appeared in the dead of night while I was quietly meditating and manhandled me!!"
"Manhandled!? I was just trying to get a good look at you, because I thought you were a wild animal! And you weren't meditating; you were crying your eyes out while looking at the moon!"
>Suddenly Princess Luna looked mortified, but then her face slowly changed to pure rage.
>L: "You saw..."
>Suddenly black sparks started to circle around Princess Luna, then a black and dark blue aura surrounded her entire body.
>L: "You saw!!"
>Black and dark blue energy started to erupt from the ground where Princess Luna floated; the manticore that was underneath her was thrown throughout the air, and slammed into a nearby tree; knocking the ferocious beast out in one blow.
>L:"HOW DARE YOU!!"
>Ts: "Princess Luna please calm down! I know there was an accident between the two of you, but can't we all forgive each other and put it behind ourselves? I'm sure Anonymous doesn't want to fight you either! Isn't that right Anon?"
"Twilight, if she attacks me again I WILL defend myself; just because you don't like a person doesn't mean you can just attack them as you please."
>L: "Stand aside Twilight Sparkle!! The hairless monkey will disappear from my sight at once, or I will MAKE the hairless monkey vanish!!"
>Ts: "No! Princess Celestia asked me to make sure--"
>L: "Princess Celestia! Princess Celestia!! Princess Celestia!!! Thats ALL I ever hear from anypony! Am I not on equal ground with my sister!? Am I not also a princess!? Am I not also an alicorn!? When somepony is asked what they think about their ruler of equestria do you know what they say!? They say: "I love Princess CELESTIA!' Well what about the princess who raises the moon!? The princess who is always in her sister's shadow!? The princess who can't even get ONE pony to move when she asks them to!! What about Princess Luna!?"
>Twilight looked broken; the purple mare made a pitiful attempt at a reply before hanging her head to the ground.
>Ts: "I-I... don't know..."
>You look back to Princess Luna; who had tears streaming down her face as she glared at you with pure hate.
>L: "Then the talking monkey comes and makes everything worse for me! The monkey manhandles me in the forest and I end up being punished along with it!! Now I'm stuck In the forest; fighting manticores to obtain a scroll, while my sister rests her lazy flank at the palace!!"
>You step forward in front of Twilight as Princess Luna started charging a spell.
>Ts: "Anonymous no!"
"I'm not gonna let you get hurt just because Princess Luna has it in for me Twilight; so stand back and don't move."
>L: "Why don't you have a little taste of Tartarus Anonymous? A trip to the moon for a few days might 'enlighten' you."
>You withdrew your red jewel and firmly gripped it; you kept it with you since it seemed to let you do magic on occasion; however, what Celestia said about it made you hesitate using the jewel...until now.
"I'm not going anywhere Princess Luna; whether you like it or not."
>L: "Away from me hairless monkey!"
>Princess Luna then fired a black ball that flew straight at you; while raising the jewel in the air you began to concentrate when suddenly Twilight teleported between you and Princess Luna.
>Ts: "Stop fighting with each other!"
"Twilight move out of the way!"
>The purple mare then raised a large orb around her as Princess Luna's spell shot forward at you; suddenly there was a blinding flash of light that lit up the whole forest for moment as the spell exploded.
>You felt yourself being thrown throughout the air the next second.
"What's happening!?"
>You flew across the forest at an unbelievable rate before hitting your back against something hard and passing out.

>That was the last thing you could remember before waking up inside this small cave with Princess Luna; you groan as you put your hand over your face; this situation was partly your fault as well, but Princess Luna didn't have to flip out like that either. Getting up from the pile you sat down on; you pull out the small stone and concentrate on it, clearing your head of all thoughts; suddenly you find yourself back inside the pure white space inside your mind.
"If I remember correctly I have to imagine my energy as an orb, and push that energy to my physical hand...right?"
>It had been a while since you attempted magic; the only times you used it were for life threatening situations; however you needed a source of light from somewhere, and you think the flames the jewel can produce could help. As you concentrated a small orb appeared in the palm of your hands; the red strands of energy that flowed from your hands gathered around the small orb until you decided it had gotten big enough; you open your eyes and imagine yourself pushing the orb out of your mind, and with some strained effort sure enough did a small ball of fire flow from your hand; lighting the small space up enough to see. You noticed that even when you moved your hand the small flame floated beside you in mid-air.
"HA! It worked!"
>You looked up to see Princess Luna in the far corner of the room, shaking violently with bloodshot eyes; you thought she had rested from the lack of sounds from her, but it was apparent that she had been crying while you had rested.
"Princess Luna... you okay?"
>The dark blue mare simply stayed in the corner of the small space; shaking silently while looking at something you couldn't see.
>You turn around and begin to move the heavy stones blocking your part one at a time; you had only just started and could already tell it was going to be a slow and agonizing process.
>Luna(L): "Why do you keep trying to tunnel your way out stupid monkey? Don't you realize where we are?"
"I don't have a damned clue where we are; that's why I'm digging, so we can find out."
>Princess Luna chuckled slightly before speaking again.
>L: "That spell I fired at you was supposed to send whoever it hit to the moon, and it ricocheted off Twilight Sparkle's barrier; hitting ALL OF US!"
>You stopped dead in your tracks and looked at Princess Luna with shock.
"Wait...are you trying to tell me--?"
>L: "YES STUPID MONKEY! WE ARE ALL ON THE MOON!!"

A distance aways from the spot Anonymous, Twilight Sparkle, and Princess Luna once were sat a slender looking man; he was dressed in a black reverend suit while carrying a tall black cross that was strapped to his back. His eyes were white, and only the outline and pupils could be seen; his hair was also a ghost white color that seemed to glow in the darkness of Everfree Forest.
>???: "God may have forsaken me, and may even have cursed me with this tainted magic; but, I shall not end my life in this hell; I shall create an even greater world than god! In fact I shall become this worlds new god! And I shall start by destroying every flying, talking, and magic wielding abomination that desecrates this world..."
As the mysterious man got up the large black cross strapped to his back left a trail of black smoke where it was; as he walked in the forest a group of hexed manticores could be seen; humbly standing at attention in the presence of the mysterious man.
