♛ IN A WORLD OF MY OWN

PERSONALITY: Olivia has a very bright personality. Even if they are sometimes hesitant in their actions, they always have something to say to brighten up the atmosphere. Oli is very attentive, having been a perfectionist their whole life. They are a hard worker, motivated by their desire to please people so that they don’t give up on Oli or leave them. Olivia hates the idea of change, because that increases the possibility of people abandoning them. Because of this, Oli is incredibly clingy and will do anything for someone if it means they stay. Oli tries to be confident in all they do, taking risks and trying new things. They are constantly trying to make people laugh and/or cheer them up. Oli is very caring, but this can also sometimes stem from the fact that they want people to like them, so sometimes they’re not completely genuine in their good acts. Olivia is desperate to be genuinely happy, which to them is defined as being surrounded by people who love them.

• Change — if things change, Oli feels like they’re losing control, and that just sets them on a downwards spiral filled with anxiety.

• When people don’t laugh at their jokes (They think it’s a stupid concern, but they can’t help the twinge of sadness whenever they can’t make someone else laugh)

• Their lactose intolerance (but that still doesn’t stop them from consuming milk when they can)

— HOBBIES:
• Drawing those makeup looks on those face templates: Olivia loves to experiment, even though they probably won't take as many risks in real life as she does on the paper.
• Arranging food: They watch a lot of food network, so whenever they prepare food for other, Olivia arranges it like how fancy restaurants who sell a small steak the size of your fist for $600 (you know, with the little smear of sauce and the parsley arranged in a circle around the entree).
• Vlogging: Olivia records vlogs on their mother's old camcorder, but would literally die if the tapes were ever posted to YouTube. They record these for fun, even if it is ᵃ ˡᶦᵗᵗˡᵉ  annoying while they’re recording the vlogs.
• Baking: Albeit terrible at it, Oli enjoys baking (though they don’t enjoy it when the oven starts smoking and the product comes out hard as rock).

— HABITS:
• Biting their nails: Olivia is a compulsive nail-biter, so they try to cover up this fact by getting their nails done so that they can’t bite their nails. But when the NexGen nails come off, they go right back to biting and/or picking at their nails.
• Inappropriate jokes: Whenever they’re in a situation that makes them anxious/worried, Olivia simply tries to cover up their worry by cracking inappropriate jokes, even when they’re in their supposed professional place of work (lmao).
• Sticking out their tongue: When Oli is concentrating very hard or when they’re focused, their tongue kinda peeks out of their lips (just a little bit). It’s kinda cute, and they’re doing it subconsciously.
• Rotating their neck: Olivia’s neck is always in discomfort due to their scoliosis, so they’re pretty much rotating their neck slowly every five minutes.

— TALENTS:
• Makeup: This is obvious, but Olivia has always enjoyed applying makeup to their own face and other’s for as long as they can remember (but back when they were a child, they used their Claire’s toy makeup and paint). They love the feeling inside their heart whenever someone, after getting their makeup done, looks into the mirror and smiles at the reflection. Oli loves the feeling of knowing that they are able to highlight a person’s best features and make them feel good about themself.
• Listening: This is more of an intangible talent, but Olivia is very understanding and patient, and is able to listen to and comfort those who come to them for counsel.
• Public speaking: A debater in high school, Olivia is a talented public speaker and is able to express themself with clarity and confidence, though they don’t do it often. A lot of people tend to find Olivia’s confidence attractive oof.
• Making sure Namjoon doesn’t completely lose it: Oli and Joon have always been close. They’ll be the first one to shoot Joon a text or a funny snap if he seems to be on the edge of just gOinG inSanE. If someone is concerned about Joon and his sanity, the first person they’ll go to will be Oli.

• Olivia is a terrible dancer. Please don’t ever ask them to dance it’s chaotic.
• They give the best hugs! Even though Oli is a little short, they’re able to just engulf you with their warmth and they just radiate the feeling of home.
• Oli is constantly tempted to just take their car and just drive to California , especially when the younger staff members are making them lOse their MinD.
• They’re a huge flirt, a good one at that. And Olivia (sometimes) doesn’t know they’re doing it.
• At ten years old, they used acrylic paints instead of makeup on their own face and needless to say, her mother was livid. But she still kept the photos in the family album, where the cyan blue paint that was smeared onto Oli’s eyelids is immortalized.

BACKGROUND: Olivia’s childhood was a happy one; filled with love from her parents and friends. They grew up in a small town next to Boston, where their family lived a quiet life. Oli initially was convinced that their passion was medicine, telling their parents this at age six. Their elementary years were happy, but their parents began to slightly pressure Olivia to do their best in school. Olivia worked hard, so they could make their parents proud of them. They studied hard throughout middle and high school, both in order so they could attend a good college and since their parents pressured them to do the best they could.

— MOST TREASURED MEMORY: When Oli found out they had scoliosis, their mother immediately reached out and held their hand tightly. Neither of them spoke, and it may seem like a trivial moment for some, but Olivia, as a teenager, treasured this.

— MOST TRAUMATIC MEMORY: When Oli found out that their partner was already engaged to someone else. Olivia, after spending the night at the partner’s home, was looking for a necklace in the dresser, and found an engagement ring. They confronted the partner, and when confronted, the partner snakily replied, “I stayed with you even though you’re confused on what your gender is. Why can’t you stay with me?” Olivia immediately left the house angrily and burst into tears once outside.

— FAMILY/GUARDIANS:
Sapna Johar: Olivia’s mother. She is a phychiatrist. She and Olivia are very close, and they don’t need to use words to communicate. Closeness: 8/10
Vincent Johar: Olivia’s father. Software engineer. Immersed in his work, loves Olivia even if they don’t show it. Tends to push Olivia a bit hard, especially academically. Closeness: 5/10

HOPES AND AMBITIONS: Olivia’s dream is simple: they wants to be happy. They desire to be surrounded by people who love them and support them. Their ambition career-wise is still unclear to them: they’re figuring it out as they go.
↳ FURTHER: Oli’s parents are not super psyched that they don’t have a plan for their life, but are willing to support Oli if it means that they end up happy.

— MOTIVATION: Olivia is motivated by their desire to please those around them. An unhealthy motivation, this actually was one of the contributors to their anxiety disorder. Oli will work so hard in order to make those around them proud.

— MORAL ALIGNMENT: Chaotic good.

— BREAKING POINT: If those around them suddenly left and/or stopped supporting Olivia.

— FATAL FLAW: Olivia’s fatal flaw is that they are clingy. Old will do anything for a person if it means the person would stay with Olivia.

— WORST FEAR: Abandonment. Olivia’s anxiety also keeps them in fear that people won’t like them or love them if they don’t do certain things to please those people.



♛ WHY SHOULD I WORRY

NECESSITY: While attending pre-law school, Oli pushed themselves extremely hard, so as to do well in university in order to get into a good law school. At the same time, Olivia began to see the person they had an affair with. Oli was already under incredible pressure form themselves, and when they found out their partner was engaged, they went down a spiral. Olivia began to wonder if everyone around them just didn’t like or love them. They closed themselves off from friends, and tried their best to put on a farce in order to convince everyone that they were worth staying with. Eventually, Olivia’s mother noticed (somehow, through only phone calls and facetime) that Olivia seemed to be shutting themselves off from everyone, and suggested Olivia see a therapist friend of hers. Olivia obeyed their mother, saw the therapist, and was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. At first, Olivia was scared of telling everyone this, as they feared it would make everyone around them leave Oli. But eventually, Olivia learned to deal with their anxiety by being open about it and making an effort to involve themselves with people, even if at some times it’s hard to do so.


SECRET: Olivia met Daniel West while attending pre-law school, when they were 19. Daniel was 25, and attending the law school connected with the pre-law school. They both seemed to hit it off immediately once they met at one of the college’s rallies. Olivia felt safe with him, and he seemed to listen to Olivia and like them for who they were. Olivia and him were talking one day, and Oli told him of their struggle with scoliosis when they were younger, and Daniel kissed them. This is what began a relationship between the two. Oli was finally convinced one day by Daniel to give up their virginity, and Olivia did so because they thought Daniel was going to be their happy ending, as ridiculous as that sounded. Daniel, in truth, really only was with Olivia because their fiancee wouldn’t sleep with him, which led to his sexual frustrations being satisfied with Olivia. Daniel manipulated Olivia into sleeping with him by making them believe that he was in love with them. Daniel was also extremely close-minded and bigoted, but Olivia continued to stay with him because she wrote those off as just his flaws (they know better now).




♛ ZERO TO HERO

WHY ARE THEY WORKING AT DISNEY WORLD?: Olivia is working at Disney World because they have always loved visiting there with her parents, and after dropping out of pre-law school, over to Orlando to attend cosmetology school in the nights and weekends, and earn some extra money during the day with Disney World.

— SMALL WORK EVALUATION: Olivia is very hardworking, and is sometimes so immersed in their work that they seem to be in their own world, not paying attention to anyone else. Oli will put their whole heart and soul into even the most menial of tasks, because they want others to be pleased with them.

— IF THEY WERE TO GET FIRED, WHAT WOULD IT BE FOR?: Cracking a joke of a sexual nature in front of a high-ranking Disney official. :(

WHICH UNIVERSITY ARE THEY ATTENDING?: The Cosmetology and Beauty School of North Orlando.

— WHAT COURSE ARE THEY STUDYING: Cosmetology

— ACHIEVEMENTS: They ranked within the top 7% of their high school graduating class. They competed in debate in high school and always placed at tournaments. Olivia has also done an incredible amount of volunteering work, and continues to do so now on the weekends.



♛ SO THIS IS LOVE

(LOVE) INTEREST: Kim Seokjin
↳ BACKUP: Kim Namjoon

— MEETING: Olivia met Seokjin on their first day as Disney’s makeup artist, as he came in to get his makeup done as Prince Charming. Immediately, Oli was entranced by the fact that he looked so beautiful (their precise words, when describing this encounter to Supernova, “he looked like a doll?”). Seokjin was honestly just wondering why getting his makeup done was even necessary. But when Olivia accidentally dropped something and bent down, Seokjin saw the top of their scoliosis scar, and being the nosy guy he is, he asked her about it. Olivia shyly shared their story with scoliosis quickly. Seokjin thought they were brave to be so open with a stranger, and he admired this, because it wasn’t a normal occurrence for someone to be as bold as him. Also he thought they were very cute, if he had to admit it.

— RELATIONSHIP:
	Seokjin finally is bold enough to ask for Oli’s number, and they both start texting. Their sense of humor is shared, and the texts flow freely between them, and this joking around transfers to real life, where they “fake” flirt with one another and crack inappropriate jokes all the time with everyone. Seokjin eventually begins to audibly voice his desire to be with Olivia romantically, but Olivia is hesitant, even though they want the same thing.
	At the start of their romantic relationship, Olivia and Seokjin’s moves slowly, with Oli always being unsure of themselves. Seokjin is eager to jump right in, as he really likes Oli. Their first few dates are a bit slow and hesitant, which can be attributed to Oli. Seokjin does his best to make sure that he doesn’t make Old uncomfortable. During all this, they still crack jokes with each other, even if their romantic relationship is off to a rocky start.
	Eventually, Oli is open with Seokjin, and they begin to slowly but surely fall in love. Their relationship is a fun one, and they both seem to really enjoy the process of falling for one another.

— TRIVIA:
• They’re always texting each other, even if they’re in the same room. Seokjin is always just being petty, and Olivia indulges him by replying with reaction pics.
• They both have similar confident personalities, and when combined, they’re unstoppable.
• Seokjin and Olivia were once baking together, and Seokjin forgot Oli was lactose intolerant and put regular milk in the cake. :(
• Seokjin is in hysterics once he finds out that Adonis and Oli once had a fling, and Olivia finds the whole situation mortifying.
• They’re always making fun of each other, with banter that’s fun and sometimes extremely inappropriate

• Olivia shows Seokjin their scoliosis scar: Olivia has always been insecure of their scar, fearing it would scare off people. But with Seokjin, she felt that he wouldn’t be phased by anything. So one day when they were spending time together, Olivia just suddenly pulled off their shirt (they had a bra on okay). Seokjin was very okay with this but was unsure what was going on. Olivia then showed her back to him. It was silent between the two for a few moments, before Olivia felt his arms wrap around her in a hug. They just stayed in that position for a while, not saying much.
• Olivia comforts Seokjin: Seokjin comes in to get his makeup done for the second time in four hours which was strange. Olivia then sees that he’s been crying. They softly ask what happened. Seokjin hands them his phone. Olivia then reads text messages between Seokjin and his father, who is very upset with his son’s choice of work, friends, everything. Olivia is at first unsure what to say, as they’ve never struggled for their parent’s support. They then just hand his phone back to him, and then use their own phone to text him a soft and loving reaction pic.
• Olivia shares their non-binary identity with Seokjin: (First, let me explain. Olivia is not out as non-binary at the beginning of this, not until the sort-of beginning of their and Seokjin’s relationship. Feel free to change anything if you want.) Olivia is on a date with Seokjin and after they order their food, Olivia suddenly blurts out that they’re non-binary. Seokjin looks at them for a second, before lifting their hand off the table and kissing their knuckles (with a glance of consent, ofc). He then looks at Oli and says, “That’s really cool.”

↳ BANGTAN: Joon! Joon was the one to show Olivia around once they became the makeup artist at Disney, and Olivia felt comfortable with him because his voice was really calming (honestly, I relate). They both have a tendency to parent others, which really has nothing to do with their age, but rather their personality. But Joon is more life the business casual uncle, and Olivia is the fun vacation dad. :)
↳ SLOTS: Supernova. Everyone was super intimidated by Supernova, but Oli taught Supernova how to get that winged liner sharp, and now Supernova trusts them. Oli does the same. They’re each others confidant, even if they don’t speak a lot verbally. Their relationship dynamic is sort of similar to Olivia’s with their mother.
