[14:33] Yoshiko Taiyang says, "Of course.."

[14:35] Alexios asks, "Coming to hear this explanation, Amalia?"
[14:35] Amalia Ghede says, "Why not."
[14:37] Alexios says, "Well then... We'll let Yoshiko explain themselvres."
[14:37] Appolus followed along silently, eventually moving to take a seat at his usual spot. Hands moved to prepare a cup of tea for himself as he often did, despite the context of meeting.

Dull, crystalline eyes shifted over towards Yoshiko as he dipped forward to prop an elbow upon the table, one hand utilized to uphold his dangling head.

Certainly there was a good reason for them doing what they did. He did believe that anyway, knowing Anastasia.

[14:54] The Illuminated kitsune sat at the end of the table, her tail resting on her lap as she leaned slightly back but sat a proper posture.

Cerulean hues rested on Alexios on the other side. It was time to talk with serious so, Yoshiko expression held nothing but that. A gloomy exposure.

"I refrained from telling everyone to stray away from causing an uproar so once I say this, I'd kindly ask to keep it within this room as it's being handled with my supervision over it..." she admits, resting her hand on her lap.

"Anastasia has been captured within Osrona. Called a 'guest' but holds a collar around her neck. But everything is fine for the most part. If she could leave, she would've a while ago..

I'll supply a summarized version of what happened. Anastasia and I went to Osrona to speak with the Imperator and the Magistrate about why they were redrawing from the war and the sudden allowing of nobles back in there...

One thing led to a next and Anastasia opened her mouth a little too much when Misha was present and things stirred from there," she added. With all this being said, she still held a calm nature to her voice. "But.. again, I can assure you that it's been alright. I've been there to watch over Anastasia so nothing happens.. Currently, Walter plans on doing no harm to her but... I had and have to make sure."

[15:03] "No... It's not alright."

Annoyed, and angry. Could you even blame him? When she had so much duty to manage, she had tossed it all away. "You say captured when you've just said you entered Osrona by choice. Why would you try to understand their withdrawal?"

"Walter had killed your leader, Alexander. A family member of Anastasia and she thought going in there to discuss things would ever go smoothly? What kind of world are you living in?! We have people here fighting, getting hurt, and injured. And you're trying to figure out why they withdrew their people?! AND GOT CAPTURED?!"

Wrinkles form on his nose, as he can't see any benefit from this. Who in their right mind would go into enemy territory to understand what they were planning, were they even surprised Anastasia spoke rudely and got captured? Nothing good came from this, the whole situation made no sense.

"Aeliana is leading Nysea people within Myllenoris, where they are all unhappy and hope to return to their homes soon. You and Anastasia are elders within their militia and city, who should be guiding them. But you aren't, you're too busy getting captured by the enemy after walking in by choice and causing a ruckus."

Leaning forwards, he places both of his hands on the table. "Oh... But you can assure me it's alright, and Anastasia is okay? I'm sure she's having a great time, while Aeliana carries things on her own with no support. Something I would've of pushed her to do if I knew you would do something so idiotic."

Leaning back again, he brings a hand up to his head. He was told he wouldn't like their reasoning, and he most certainly didn't. "This explains nothing but proves how stupid the whole situation and idea was. I'm disappointed and displeased... And I expect no good outcomes from this, especially with the war on the horizon."

[15:14] Elisha wasn't one for politics. Yet, he hovers above the plush pillow all the same. Sipping his tea, while mentally organizing the day. There is a masquerade to attend. Perhaps a ritual to partake in. Maybe, a prisoner or two to torture. Perhaps, a few unsavory spirits that needed to be dealt with.

All in all, he assumes it'd be another terrible day.

[15:15] Lips curled to elicit a gentle smirk upon his countenance. So she was captured, he already knew that much. Of course, Alexios was right in all that he'd said. Demons had become more and more bold, closing in even upon Myllenorin walls several times. Many Knights at this point had contributed to the cause, and even without their Leader.

"So.. she's just Walter's toy now?" He questioned, his expressions still unamused as ever. His tongue clicked, his head shook slowly. Tell-tale signs of disappointment. "I tried to warn her, but it seems that she was unable to listen."

Still. "Alexios is right, but either way, it doesn't matter. She's been gone for nearly a year and war is upon the horizon. I can't be bothered being concerned for her any longer." And in fact, he'd lost that concern some months prior.

[15:23] "And what do you think I said when they suggested it? I said the same thing but if we as adults can't discuss like one then there will only be childish actions.. Smoothly or not, at least she isn't dead.

She also defended your people when they only claimed that relocating here was foolish because of what your people did in the past.. I also, personally, told them that we shouldn't dwell into the past and focus on the future. Which is exactly what you're doing right now..."

The Kitsune's ears tense up a bit and so did her tail. Whenever anyone yelled at her, she stared at them deadpanned and felt nothing by it. It was a normal emotion that she should not take feelings towards. Which also wouldn't be met with the same.

"... But either way, that is what I am here for. To bring hope and wisdom to our people. To give them moral for the outcoming future. I know my duty but making sure that the Lightbringer's life isn't in danger is also a duty that I must take so that our people's moral isn't tossed under a rain cloud. I am the light that they deserve and look to while Anastasia is held against her will...

But if you can't have trust and belief in your own ally then why are we here..? Is speaking with Walter about their reasonings after what he did no different from when your people destroyed, slaughtered, and plundered Osrona? Is that all that we're going to do, sit here and complain about what happened in the past?

You have no right to call me or her idiotic. You don't know what happened and you're failing to understand what happened.. More problems are going to arise if you keep acting so childish and letting your emotions get the best of you.." she declared, brows lowering some and arms crossing over her chest as she began to voice out her thoughts and opinions. But Yoshiko would keep her cool and take a nice long relieving sigh.

"Anyways... If you'd rather be adamant about it then I suggest you let me handle it fully. Or you can rest easy knowing that I'm there making sure everything is controlled... And no, she is not Walter's toy. You are only assuming the worst and that will only cause the worst upon you.

Is that really how you lead your people?"

[15:26] The Teraphim chuckled lightly, "Alexios did no such thing." And it was true, much had been done in order for Nysea and Myllenoris to fully collaborate, Finn stepping down from the throne was one of many things.

"Meanwhile, Alexander's blood is still fresh upon Walter's blade." That much was obvious. "I do see your reasonings, and her own. From what I understand? She is kept there.. against her will.. roaming freely, and he'll decide when she has been good enough to be released? Or will he grace us with her presence in the war?" Who even knew?

"Fact is, you both pulled a stunt without speaking with anyone and it cost us a leader figure to fall into their grasps." He sighed, shaking his head.

"I hope something comes of this, otherwise, it's purely a waste of potential."

[15:39] "Speak to them... Like adults? Are you a child? We are in the middle of a war, going out to speak with people like adults is way past that. Did you think about that before saying it? Speak like adults... With the one that killed Alexander, and marched with Demons?"

"You're... Delusional." If he had ever heard a pointless point given, it was now. How could she even say that with a straight face? Was the luxury life in Osrona that good, that she forgot what was happening all around them?

"And for what our people did in the past, for someone that claims to want to look towards the future... You are quick to bring it up and wave it in my face again. Even while I stand here, and go out-- Countless times, trying my best to make up for it all. Trying my best to keep us all safe, including Nysea. While you dwell... In our enemies city?"

The gem in the crown glows, that red gem becoming a lot more active the more he spoke about the situation.

"You're bringing no hope, no wisdom. You practically snatched it from under their feet, when they hear two people they looked up to didn't just get captured. But willingly walked into Osrona, which lead to their capture." How was she even blessed? Surely her goddess had much more sense, and he still didn't understand this whole situation.

"You're already one of the main reasons, including Anastasia... For Nysea's moral to be stepped on. Do you not realize this? This whole idea you had, it was poor and achieved nothing. You give them no light Yoshiko, they deserve better than you."

"And now you talk of trust and belief? When you can't even bring your ideas and plans to us? To discuss what you want to do, before even doing them? You couldn't even talk to Aeliana, before marching into Osrona as two... You have NO RIGHT... To talk about trust."

"Again, you wave the past in my face. Something that had happened many years ago, I was not even born to witness it. It is VERY different in our current situation, whereas Appolus said... The blood of Alexander still stains his sword, and you're trying to justify this?"

"CHILDISH?! You've just explained to me, and I have gone of what you told me. Walking into Osrona WILLINGLY, to try and understand why they withdrew from the war. That is what you just told me, that is what I understand. And all you have been doing is giving me nothing to work with. You're spouting nonsense, as you've only harmed than good so far."

A clenched fist, which is brought down into the table. Causing all the pots to shake, and the cups to rattle. The High Lord standing tall, emeralds flicker grey as theyglare down at Yoshiko.

"Nothing you've told me is good, and you feed me nonsense. You keep trying to guilt-trip me, into accepting your answers. But I accept none of it, it is all rubbish! You walked into our enemy's hands, achieved NOTHING. And abandoning your people, FOR YEARS!"

Bringing a hand up to his head, he sighs. "You are delusional, to say so much... After making such a mistake. Acting as if this isn't even a mistake when it is. You've justified nothing, are you not even sorry? If not to us, then your people?"

[16:06] "Don't be a hypocrite. Look at the way you're talking. Continuing to only care about the past. I can understand but you truly have no right to act that way when Alexander never really meant anything to you..

And if I'm delusional, then you're ignorant. You fail to have trust and belief in your ally and only insult continuously. You call yourself a leader..?"

Yoshiko looked away. Unlike Alexios, she showed no anger in her expression or words. There was no hidden emotions either. She'd only tighten her grasp on her tail. Another sigh would release from her lips.

"I'm not going to plead or say sorry to you when you can't understand what happened because you're too inclined on the poor standards of everything else.

But I will not sit here as you call me someone who is deserved by my people. Especially when I am doing my best to protect Anastasia. I'd throw my very life on the line for herand here you are calling my actions idiotic. Well, I'm so sorry that I am not someone who is busy sitting in their homing leading. That is not what I do.."

Yoshiko stood from her seat. Her frame straightened and beginning to stare at the High Lord. Again, there was no anger in her eyes. She seemed very deadpanned altogether. There wasn't any hint or feeling of anyone else around her. Her attention and focused was on the Teraphim before her.

She'd stay silent for the rest of his speech. Only holding back whatever else she wanted to say and dared not to interrupt. She wanted to everything before she released anymore of her thoughts from her mouth. He brought up good points which she knew could've have been brought to attention better. She'd admit this by nodding but she did not like the fact that she was being slandered of her duty.

"If this has brought nothing but harm and nonsense then I suppose there is nothing else to talkabout. I will continue my duty and watch over Anastasia and to create a beneficial moral exposure to those that still stand by me. While you're sitting here shouting your heart out, I will be doing all that I can so that Anastasia doesn't end up like her brother.

Because that's what I believe to do.. is the right thing. So if you choose not to care then so be it. I will not either. I have enough light beside me to handle things on my own.

Now..."

Yoshiko turned on a heel and began heading for the exit of the room with her eyes closed and arms resting at her sides. Quiet footsteps were the only audible thing coming from her as the slight glow outlining her form brightened even more. The handle of the door was reached but she didn't open it just yet.

"You'll have to forgive me at a later date.. You cannot afford to lose anymore when numbers are so low.. If you'll excuse me, I'll be out searching for a way. Nothing else you'll say will harm the moral that I have," she utters, twisting the door's knob and exiting the room. Unless stopped of course.

[16:14] The Teraphim sighed, it seems all really had been said. He'd offer a dismissive wave as Yoshiko moved to exit.

Lips nearly moved to sarcastically thank them for their efforts, but he would exhibit maturity. If it were so pointless, then she'd continue to do it?

Though that lingering annoyance, that uncommon tick would surface about his visage as he turned to Yoshiko once more, his tea was set aside.

"Perhaps in the end, the Mad Imperator will convince you all to rekindle with that old Osronan flame. Convince you that it would be better for you all to return, that now with Alexander gone you could all freely return..." Lips curled to smirk before he continued, stifling a bit of laughter obviously, "Right beneath his foot."

Because that's where Anastasia was now, whether Yoshiko would word it such a way or not. "Politics are not so lost upon me, I only hope you'd not buy into his words should they becomesuch. Then again, you seem to be more comfortable there than here already, Yoshiko." His gaze was sharp, almost piercing for a moment as those expressions which once depicted some amusement shifted once more to those more dull. As unamused as Yoshiko may have been with this meeting, he was as well. Anastasia was a friend to him, a beacon of hope at times. Now what was she exactly?

Right, that.

[16:16] "You... Just continue to be delusional, even when I have given you facts. You're disrespectful and rude, and none of your plans make any sense. And I have a lot to act the way I am because Alexander meant A LOT to me."

"He believed in me while others didn't when people like you spat on us and thought so little of who we are. Seeing us as monsters and child-killers, he listened to my moods and gave us a chance. And he also predicted this position I am in now, he told me I would have the crown... And for someone that hated the crown? You just don't understand."

"I'm far from ignorant, but you stand here proving to be both. Delusional, and ignorant. To think little of other's emotions, while you continue to only hurt everything you claim to 'care' for."

For her to lack emotion when speaking about something so important? It only made him believe such was true, that she had grown delusional in her ways. Much like those in Osrona, she was no better than them.

"I don't want your sorry, I want you to give it to the people you swore to protect. I want you to give it to Aeliana, who has been here struggling on her own without you or Anastaisa. I understand what happened because you told me what happened, are you serious? I considered you to be much wiser, but you... Just aren't?"

Did she think of turning her back on these people again was the best idea? How was she in the position she was in? Anastasia didn't need any help. And right now, the people in Nysea remain confused about the whole situation.

"I care too much, for you to even understand it. I care far too much, and you just step on it. You're not wise, or any kind of light. You're vile, and I don't know what happened to you in Osrona… But right now, I can't even see you as someone that can help the people here. Not whensomeone you claim to protect, is in chains."

Grinding his teeth, he brings a hand down to the hilt of his blade. Eyes focus ahead, as he was sure this was the best thing to do. Before Yoshiko could just vanish again, she would have to be met with someone who would have much more to say than he does.

"No, you'll not be leaving Myllenoris. I forbid it-- You'll remain here until faced with Aeliana. And to make sure that happens, I plan to have you put in a collar. If you think your reason as good and think what you continue to do is healthy? You'll accept such a thing, and discuss it with the girl that needs you."

[16:19] Elisha kept his thoughts to himself. While under the impression that they're doomed regardless of what actions are taken in the moment, he'd long since accepted that he'd keep fighting so long as he could make the enemy hurt.

Rolling the die, testing his luck, until the Wraith can no longer drag him back into the Vale.

The bond with his wraith is strengthened as it feeds on some of the ire and negative emotions from Elisha, and those around him. Likely noticed moreso by the Teraphim so close by.

His lips part to speak, aiming to return to the field, but that final phrase from Alexios has him settling back down.

Eyeing the fox curiously.

[16:52] Yoshiko had a tense prediction that this might happen. They would try and capture her so she wouldn't go back but she felt as if she had done nothing wrong in this situation. Especially after she spoke with Anastasia.

Pulling out a green blob, she dropped it on the ground filling the room with green smoke to amplify her escape.

[16:56] Elisha isn't show how to feel in the moment. One had made a poor life decision, and not reaped the seeds they'd sewn. On the other hand, he knows very well what he'd do if the one person who kept him truly stable were trapped...

And couldn't escape.

Still.

Futile as it may be to fight this fox himself, it'd been weeks since he felt so bogged down with dread, the point of living is nigh lost on him.

Maybe she could help with that.

[17:13] "Turning your back on her, on all of these people. How can you? To claim to be some beacon of light, when all you do is pull darkness over their eyes."

Moving forward, he did his best to try and get ahold of Yoshiko. He didn't want to harm her, or even cause any hate between the two. But he wanted her to be honest, and open about what was going on. And to not even talk to Aeliana before leaving?

A hand catches Yoshiko's shoulder, clenching down on her harder than he probably should have. "Turning away now, only makes all your claim ingenuine. If you want to be the light for them, you can't be it inside of Osrona."

But before he can tug her back, or even secure his capture. Yoshiko refused, his hand had been laid upon a clone... A fake of what she was, which soon vanishes into the smoke too. It infuriates him, enough to empower that magic all around his own body.

"YOSHIKO!"

He yells, erupting the wind to get rid of the smoke completely. Yoshiko herself may have even been caught by the blast, sending her flying out of the tower and into the main room. A chance for her escape, if she truly still wanted to go with leaving Myllenoris for now.

"ANSWER TO HER WOES!"

Is all the fox could hear, before Alexios takes a second to calm down. Breathing heavily, and allowing for such wind to become relaxed. He hated being like this, but he couldn't stand idle. They had abandoned her at this point, and it had been him that pushed her to lead with their guidance.

[17:27] Elisha simply wasn't fast enough to reach the smoke in time, leaving him more annoyed than anything else. There was nothing he could do about it at least, so it doesn't bother him too badly.

He finishes his cigarette, and slides either of his hands deep into his pockets. Once he'd done this to hide nervous ticks. Now? It'd just become another habit.

"Mn.."

The violent burst of wind sends his hair and cloak flying backwards, yet little can be seen in way of expression on his features.

"This was...enlightening."

In a fair number of ways. Between this, and Twilly's actions, his desire to remain in the eye of Myllenoris wanes even further. Between the trip to 'save' the Vale planned behind his back, and the current experiment.

Alexios and his family are likely the only ones from the Kingdom that'll hear from him, for a time.

"I'll be in the Vale if you need me. Going to pay my tributes."

[17:28] Yoshiko turned her head and felt the hand grasp at her shoulder and the strength that was wielded upon the grip. Her brows dipped knowing that she wasn't quick enough. But if she was going to have to defend herself against the High Lord to make an escape then she will.

Alas, it was only a mere illusion the moment Alexios had peered into her eyes. She phased into another part of the room, preparing herself for an attack that only hold half of her strength within. She did not want to hurt the High Lord nor did she want to use the very limit of her power to destroy the place they were in.

"You'll have to wait... My beacon is Anastasia right now and I will follow her, even if darkness follows. I will never burn out.."

He cried out her name and she heard it fully. But the fox had nothing else to say to him. There was only focus that she could begin to hold while she fought against the leader of this faction.

But it was quick and didn't last that long. A blast of pure and solidified winds crashed against her body. She didn't wince in pain as the protective layer of light took the brunt of the attack but soon as it continued her body would crash and be sent out of the tower.

Luckily for her, this was perfect for her to at least flee from the scene for now. She'd be back one day. Today was just not the time to be held captive herself.

"Answer to her woes... I.."

The kitsune had fallen somewhere outside. It was unknown but she was gone at this point only hearing the ringing sound of Alexios's voice in her head continuously.
