>The BETTER Twilight looked down at Chrysalis
>It had been a trivial matter to defeat her, and now the queen only survived at Twilight's pleasure
/The created has surpassed the creator,/ she thought with a smirk.
>She advanced leisurely on Chrysalis. Why hurry, when the Queen's fearful squirming was oh so wonderful?
>The other members of the Mean 6 were behind her. Cowards all; none of them had the force of personality to seize the day. No matter; she'd use them as long as they were necessary and not a moment more.
"Any last words, Chrysalis?" she taunted.
>"Please, have mercy," the changeling begged.
"Pffft, not lik--"
>Twilight's words were cut off by one of the Tree of Harmony's roots shoving itself into her mouth.
>Four more picked up each of her legs, and together they lifted her aloft.
>She struggled against the floral menace. With a flash of her horn, she repelled them, and dropped to the ground.
"You'll have to try harder than that, Chr--"
>Before she could even finish her sentence, the plants counterattacked - and this time, a particular purple root grabbed her horn. She felt a horrible sensation, as her connection to the magical forces of the world was suddenly severed.
"What?" she asked through the root, more in shock than anything else. It was pumping a rainbow substance down her throat, not quite gas and not quite liquid. The stuff hurt, and she wondered what poison this was.
"Help me out of this!" she called back to the useless others. "Don't just stand there like lumps, DO SOMETHING!"
>"How do we know that whatever is happening to you won't happen to us?" Rainbow challenged. "Besides, I'm getting tired of you being in charge. I think I should be in charge!"
"Fluttershy? Pinkie? Rarity? Applejack?" she asked, a hint of fear creeping into her perpetually-confident voice. Not one of them moved.
>Her stomach continued to bulge outwards. Now it was approaching her feet, and a dull ache radiated from it.
>Chrysalis uncertainly got to her feet, but her laugh didn't have a drop of uncertainty. "How the tables turn, Twilight Sparkle. It's a shame I didn't bring any popcorn."
>Twilight was supposed to kill the original, take over Equestria, and rule forever! She wasn't supposed to burst apart from too much harmony!
"No! This can't be happening! I'm in charge here!" Twilight cried. "Somepony help me!"
>Her only answer was the increasing pain from her overfilled stomach, and Chrysalis's barely contained giggling.
>She focused, summoning the most powerful magic she knew. If this didn't work--No, she wouldn't think about that. Wouldn't think about how she was likely to be splattered all over the Tree before she even killed the other Twilight...

Ending 1: The Nice Ending
>The root around her horn cracked, and she cast the spell that came to her mind first. With a brilliant flash of light, she felt the world spin.
>An uncalibrated teleport was risky, but with the alternative an explosive death, she'd been ready to take her chances.
>The room around was mostly polished crystal, and elegantly decorated. A distant ceiling towered far above.
>The rhythmic clip-clop of hooves on stone notified her that she was not alone. She tried to summon the power to turn invisible or teleport away, but after that uncalibrated teleport she was fully drained.
>The inferior Twilight and her dragon slave walked around the corner. "Alright Spike, I'll need you to rearrange the books in Row 2 according to..."
>She trailed off as she spotted the better Twilight. "Who-what-how-huh?"
>Her dragon slave translated, "Who are you, what happened to make you look like that, how did you get here, and what is even going on?"
>Better Twilight tried to think of a good lie.
"I'm... a changeling, disguised as you to surprise you. Surprise!"
>"Why are you so fat?" Spike asked.
>"I overate on love. I'll be back to normal on my own in a bit."
>Inferior Twilight rolled her eyes. "You're welcome to stay here until you feel better."



Ending 2: The Fun Ending
>The magic bubbled up more and more, and she focused it all into a single spell...
>...only for the root to tighten its grip at the last moment, channeling every drop through the tree, and then back down into her throat.
>For the first time in her quite brief life, Twilight felt crushing terror.
>Her belly bloated out to past her feet and up to her chin, a lavender blob strapped to her underside.
>The dull ache now had a sharp prick at its center, and she felt all too acutely her legs pushing in on her belly.
>The flow only accelerated. Twilight realized that she was doomed, but she fought it all the same. "Please, have mercy!" she pleaded.
>Chrysalis sauntered closer, her every movement loaded with smugness. "Pffft, not likely."
>She leaned up,and poked Twilight in her massive belly. Her whole body jiggled, and she shuddered involuntarily.
"No! Please! No!"
>Chrysalis picked up a twig, examined it as if it were an unusual shell on the beach, and then winked.
>"Somepony appears fit to burst!"
>Chrysalis thrust the twig forward, pressing Twilight's swollen body in, in, in. "NO!" she screamed, just before the forest was filled with a very loud BANG.

>Rainbow Dash had watched the entire spectacle with a rare mix of serenity and glee. She'd gotten quite tired of Twilight's bossiness, and watching the self-appointed "leader" of their group get stuffed full of rainbow was quite fun.
>The explosion wasn't bad either.
>She picked up Twilight's horn - the biggest part of her left - and jumped aloft. "Yeah! That was AWESOME!"
>As if in response, a gentle rain of rainbow fluid and purple feathers fluttered down in the grotto.
>Chrysalis looked down at her handiwork, and brushed a bit of rainbow off herself. "If Twilight pops in a forest and nopony is around to hear her, does she make a sound?"
