- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- I am knee-deep in last-minute prep for the first Tetris Attack tournament broadcast on Saturday so I will be brief. I spent this past Saturday getting my last few V-Hard runs in before the inevitable wave of 11th hour submissions came in yesterday. The only goal of the session was to get a 7:31 and take the top seed in the tournament for the group stage. After about an hour of resetting, I clutched out a 7:24. Considering how many runs I had on sub-8 pace throughout the month that were ruined at the very end, I was more than ready to drop my grinding at that point. After that, I got to work on my Hard run a bit and, after 30 minutes, improved that qualifier by 2 seconds. After two hours, I decided that enough was enough and left my times as follows:
- Easy: 5:50 (2nd)
- Normal: 6:01 (1st)
- Hard: 6:50 (2nd)
- V-Hard: 7:24 (1st)
- ...good enough to get the top seed in the tournament. I'd say I can finally rest now, but I'm about to go to work so I can't even do that much.
- Now, it is time to work up a bunch of graphics for the players and get them ready for a tournament preview on the Puzzle General Twitch channel on Saturday afternoon. Details are on the PuzzleGeneral Twitter.
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
