Design: Much like the other attendants, Iä's ensemble is not exactly typical but it is very blue. Typically the "young man" wears an outfit similar to Theodore's, at least from the waist down: black dress pants and black dress shoes. Above his waist Iä wears only a white dress shirt, a deep blue tie, a black vest and pristine white dress gloves. As accessories go he wears a "conductor" cap with a tarot card stuck in the band of the hat. He may also sport an ultramarine frock coat over his "uniform." Like the other Attendants, Iä has yellow eyes but unlike them he has blonde, almost white, hair which he wears in a fashion that seems like a combination of Yu and Minato's hairstyles.

Personality: As far as people go Iä is very bland, namely due to the fact he hasn't exactly "fully developed" yet. Even if he does, Iä is typically polite and proper to the majority of people he meets, with the only marked exception being around shadows and Nyarlathotep. Towards these beings the boy becomes ruthless and even borderline cruel while still keeping the veneer of being proper. He never shouts, and he never loses his temper, but if the boy did break it would be astounding to see the amount of havoc a mere new born like him could bring. Towards the Wild Cards, and more importantly persona users in general, he uses a rather antiquated formal honorific: -dono. Around Igor and Philemon he employs -sama.

History: Little more than energy floating in the space between awake and dream, Iä was given form by Philemon and given his current objectives: To tip the scales in favor of His chosen to win the Bet and to study humankind perhaps to even fully become human. To the end of both objectives he was given a human body much like the other Attendants. Unlike them however his purpose lies beyond the confines of the Velvet Room.

Only recently as Iä encountered the Shadow Operatives. In some strange way he is like Aigis as she was when first meeting them. Cold, emotionless, driven only by a single mission. Unlike Aigis, who clung to Minato and learned all she could about being human, Iä has no sense of drive or purpose outside the completion of Philemon's task. In a sense he is more machine than she is, and it seems that she wants to correct that. Regardless it seems only a matter of time until the attendant becomes more human than even his siblings.
