- [16:38] Rarvon placed the woman over the sofa!
- (Rarvon)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:38] Rarvon says, "Finally, some peace."
- [16:39] Omen says, "Do you have something to drink here..."
- [16:39] Cherry says, "Wow, you'd be friends with Jensen."
- [16:39] Rarvon says, "Some wine."
- [16:39] Omen says, "Why do you say that..."
- [16:39] Cherry says, "Most of hist room was a bar, as well."
- [16:39] {Item} You drop Grape Wine.
- [16:39] Rarvon says, "I do enjoy a good drink, mostly when there is fun people around."
- [16:39] Cherry says, "Oh hes not fun. Scratch that."
- [16:39] Rarvon says, "Here, your shoes."
- [16:39] {Item} You drop Newbie Boots.
- [16:39] Cherry picks up the wet shoes and place them onto the side of the couch, on the carpet.

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:39] Rarvon asks, "Anyway, had you ever heard of Helheim's contracts?"
- [16:39] Cherry asks, "Well thats a nice homecoming party the coven has now. Do you beat up everyone that has feelings, or is that only me?"
- [16:40] Cherry says, "And yes, of course. Witchery contract is one of such."
- [16:40] Rarvon says, "Indeed."
- [16:40] Rarvon says, "But the ones that I do, not always fall to the standard deals."
- [16:40] Rarvon says, "That is, soul for something else."
- [16:40] Rarvon says, "It is more open, to what is received and what is offered."
- [16:41] Cherry says, "I am aware that other forms of contracts exists. I have studied Helheim extensively. My goal was to befriend a marquis and make them kind hearted. Hah... how things changes."
- [16:41] Cherry says, "But yes, carry on."
- [16:41] Omen starts to pour some into a glass but... that is taking too long and they just start drinking from the bottle.
- (Omen)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:43] Cherry finally being dried up, she offered back Omen's shawl... given it was slightly damp now.
- (Cherry)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:46] Cherry drops a rock she had in her pocket on the table in front of Omen.
- (Cherry)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:46] Omen says, "..."
- [16:46] "Oh, this is nonsense, Marquises are divine spirits, gods on their own right - yet, just like most, these were corrupted by the ether present in Helheim!
- Where.. As much as we are the incarnation of emotions.. Such are only of the negative ones.
- So sadly. They end there, in the negative.. There is no way to make them kind hearted." He shrugged, before continuing, "Even what I do now doesn't come out of kindness, but just more out of interest in you.
- Indeed!" A pause, he then leaned forward, his shadowy visage coming closer to the young woman.
- "Because, as much as you think that everything is over, that nothing has a solution - my view of the world is different and personally, I see use for you!
- Of how things can be changed.
- Especially if you're willing to give yourself to another one more time, to work for me directly. Since well, others would see you more as something disposable.
- A tool, without any more use.
- While personally, I see use in everything." He smiled broadly, before then walking away.
- A pause was made to allow her to speak.
- (Rarvon)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:53] Cherry smiled. For a moment she found a spark of her old self. There was something amusing to her, to hear others talk about the impossible. What could and could not be done. She had learned over time that those beliefs were as pointless as her struggle.
- "You would be surprised at what I can accomplish, when I'm not..."
- Then that smiled faded. That echo of who she once was only lasted but a moment. Instead there was this bitter, helpless husk that replaced it. A lost and broken woman who had lost everything, or almost so. Enough that the little that she had seemed so pointlessly volatile and devoid of meaning... as sad as that was for Omen.
- "I have long accepted that kindness is not the driving force of this world. Omen was quick to give up on me as well. Not that I blame him, I gave up on myself. I will say it was a bit bone-chilling to hear some people I considered friends discuss the best way to make use of me as if I was dead already. Lacking any sort of proper context. It only re-affirmed what I thought.
- That hope and kindness like me can't last in this world. It eventually gets crushed like waves onto a rocky river bank, molding it until it either become like the rest of this world, or crumble and becomes swallowed."
- Perhaps to the surprise of Omen, Cherry produced a flask from her cloak. Unscrewing it, the alcohol in it was so potent that it would sting Omen's nose, unless he was used to drinking pure alcohol himself.
- She took a sip, storing it back in her cloak as she looked up to Rarvon.
- "I have been squeezed to my last ounce. I have lost the drive that pushed me. I was seeking Misfortune to perhaps be sent in another world, or to be reshaped for better use. But it seems you have something similar in mind... and in the absence of my Lord, and with my peers closing in on me like a heartless, ravenous flock, I feel I have no other options."
- It was clear for Omen at least that Cherry had changed a lot, over the last years. Over the last decade. Eroded, losing that spark that made her special. She was just another jaded, bitter adult by now. Defeated by life.

- [17:05] "It is within mortal nature to betray, to be like that, it is something so deeply imprinted within what they are, at the core of every living being - to use others, for their own purposes!
- Such, which can be varied.
- Don't be so surprised by this, as new as it may be to a being as young as you, it's something that's been around for so long, it's become part of mortal history." His voice echoed as he made his way around of the room.
- Walking in circles around the sofa and the table, always in an almost 'lively' rhythm, iconic of him which.. Then just stopped, when he was talking once more.
- "It's a shame that most people are like that, but certainly this perspective can change and yes, I have something in mind." His footsteps finally made sound, but only as he approached the woman from behind.
- His hands, reaching over her shoulders, bringing forth a parchment and pen, the first of which was opened to then reveal the contents - which were a series of terms and other similar things, that she could read further if desired..
- If not, that is fine!
- While in the end, there were three things! Two, which were something he offered, while the other - something she would offer him! While the last thing, it was a dotted line.
- "If you're willing to give it a second chance, to life that is, I can try to change 'your world' for the better - change your perspective on this mortal plane, which is so terrible..
- To a vision more similar to mine.
- As long as you just.. Sign your name within the lines." And with that, the pen was handed over, before she could see the terms.
- What he was going to offer was simple, 'A New Chance, a Change of Perspective', while what she would offer.. It was also another simple thing, Servitude.
- And now, he awaited her reaction.

- [17:13] The wine was doing little to numb their overwhelmed emotions in the moment but perhaps that was for the best, as the stone was placed before them they picked it up almost mindlessly before pausing seeing it was... something a bit rarer than they first thought.
- The magical stone is rolled in their hands as Omen considered everything once more, their feelings were coiled in upon themselves like a tangled length of rope. Glances kept being given towards their sister, especially as she spoke and pulled out a flask herself, the potent scent of alcohol confused them for a moment but...
- Their sister deserved to drink just as much as they did didn't she? As much as Omen wanted to say it wasn't true or deny it they were responsible for this weren't they? They got upset with her, gave up on her, were cruel to her when she first returned and now? Cautiously an arm wraps around her shoulder, carefully as though they were afraid she might lash out atthem, before pulling her into a sort of half-hug.
- As a contract was conjured from the shadows, the dark lettering read, Omen wondered if it really could be this simple? Could their sister sign her name and be free from the pain she felt? Would she still be herself if- well if herself was someone whose very existence was bringing them such pain shouldn't they change it? Omen was quiet for a moment before they spoke giving a glance to the spirit.
- "This contract is more vague than ours was Friend, can you not describe what exactly this new perspective will be for her?"
- (Omen)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:21] "Oh wow. Wait. I get to like, bargain? By Athelios and Hel, this sounds way more fun!"
- Cherry certainly was an odd one. A witch that had learned to appreciate bot Hel himself and Athelios as well. They both were in Helheim, after all. And many things about them were eerily compatible.
- Athelios, like her, only sought justice. A balanced world. However he is imperfect. Arrogant. Believe that no one should be beyond his judgement. Thus, necromancers and witches are seen as profane, as they are avoiding his judgement at the end and cheating his system. That much Cherry disagreed with. But as the rest? She could see the noble goal. The intention.
- Even if his broken views made her and her kin be hunted, she could see herself conversing with him one day, changing his mid... Ah... the folly of youth. Perhaps it was still somewhere in her.
- "So, we can add to this, right? Lets say I tell you that no less that five people were fighting over what to do with my body, that should increase my value a little, yes? Maybe... I could become something other than human. I wouldn't want people to recognize me. Something new. That would be fun."
- She said, her eyes glimmering a bit as she held onto the paper. She did read the fine print, at least some of it. Mostly out of curiosity. This little thing could change the rules of the game. It could perhaps help her achieve her goals...
- "What do you say, open to discussions? Just because you all thought I was suicidal doesn't mean I'm going to give myself up so easily! I know what I'm worth!"
- (Cherry)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:37] A frown was noticeable, upon hearing the words coming from Omen - the spirit clearly didn't like the fact that he had revealed that, as he had left it vague on purpose! He was a Nethradin, he needed to earn something.
- A being that had existed for so many years, always tried to trick others into doing that type of thing.. It would generate entertainment for him! Even if it cost a lot to his clients.
- And here, it was one of those situations.
- "If there are more people that desire your body, I honestly, won't show any more interest - I don't want to try more than needed, for something like that, no, no.
- That is NOT desired." His head was shaken, while the contract moved away.
- This one, kept for now - turned into mist, while the being walked to the arm of the armchair and sat on it, right next to the one he was negotiating with.
- "Alright, let's discuss..
- What I can offer, CAN change you, but it won't be easy, let alone without a lot of pain - besides taking time, but the possibility is there.. As long as you are ready for it.
- For what it entails.." The being said, but first she would have to work for him, otherwise the spirit would not act!
- As expected.
- "But first you will have to survive, for it will take effort to stop the others from trying to sacrifice you - but I can certainly make Wolf agree with me.
- And so, most would also agree - perhaps, the only one who will deny would then be Drama, which is relatively troublesome." The being pondered what to do, but there was a route.
- However, that would need a lot of effort, mainly.. Coming from him. Then the question turns to the fact that: would it be worth it for him? Would that.. Entertain him?
- Good question.
- (Rarvon)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:45] "Hm. Well, that does sound troublesome, really. But if you have a hard time convincing them to not sacrifice one of their sisters then I cry for the state of this coven. I am their elder, after all. And despite those claims of betrayal, I have done nothing of such. Absolutely nothing of harm came to the coven as for my imprisonment, I'm sure Omen can confirm that, for he said he was keeping a close eye on the situation. I'm sure misfortune is aware of that as well."
- She said, crossing a leg over the other, her fingers drumming on it as she reached for her flask, taking another swig. She had placed the contract onto her lap and smiled as she looked at it.
- "Maybe I'd want to be something a bit more... from Helheim? Wouldn't that be possible? I'd want to be molded. I want nothing of me to remain. Not powerful like you are, no. But a servant in your image, perhaps? Wouldn't that be fun? I'd leave the details to you!"
- There was no real harm in playing with this idea. In entertaining this further. She knew he may have to work for it but... after all... it was her life. And what was the worse that could happen, she gets sacrificed anyway, which she was already going to be?
- "Up to you, but I am one of the last surviving few that came upon this coven on the early years. That must count for something I'm sure."
- (Cherry)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:54] For a few moments the being pondered, the idea.. It was there, present - just as mentioned before, even for Omen, but.. Would it really be worth it? Well, who doesn't risk...
- Never achieved anything.
- "The only problem would be convincing, but it's plausible - if Omen helps, I can easily change everyone's opinion! Starting a personal project..
- One that was planned since long ago." The figure then nodded, as it looked around, before jumping forward and opening its arms!
- Now, he was excited!.. Because, what could come out of that looked promising!
- Yes, this will be certainly fun.
- "What we can do is apply effects similar to what souls suffer in Helheim, that is, expose you to the energies of the abyss plane! In this..
- Maybe you'll come to a similar state or at least half of what I am, something the three of us can work on together." He smiled broadly, before gesturing in the direction of the Contract - "But for that, you're going to have to.. Sign." And so, submit herself to the will of the spirit.
- But as long as she reached her goal, that was what mattered, wasn't it?
- (Rarvon)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:57] "Oh, suffering of Helheim! Delicious!"
- She said, quite so sarcastic. With little hesitation however she did indeed sign. It seemed more... entertaining. Death wasn't exactly something satisfying. One should not hurry to their demise, it was never her plan from the start.
- It was to escape. Escape from the pain of her hope. The annoying drive to change and fix everything, everyone...
- She needed to rip that out of herself. Become something else. Change her life. Finally be rid of the shackles of her weakness.
- And if she had to serve a stranger for it, so be it.
- That would already be better than what she had found under misfortune... and lets hope he can't hear that thought.
- (Cherry)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:08] The moment the pen was taken and her name started to be written - the nethradin had stretched towards her. A terrible smile took over his face as his claws were exposed.
- Oh.
- He was happy, content even in a way - maybe excited about what they were going to do. They might not get the results of a Nethradin, but clearly, there was something in between!
- Something, between these two beings..
- And that, was what made everything better.. Because, something new is always fun.
- And then, the moment she finished signing her name, the parchment disappeared.. Reappearing in the hands of Nethradin, who was already putting this one into his top hat, along with others! As a terrifying sensation, a cryptant one, coursed through Cherry's body..
- One, which made it clear that she..
- Well! She had done something very, very wrong.
- "I'm glad we came to an agreement, my Doll! Certainly, we'll do a lot of things together.." And with that, he held out his hand to her, "Come, let's walk outside." And in that, he waited.
- As for business, well.. These were completed.
- (Rarvon)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:13] Cherry's body shivered, but to this she only replied with:
- "The second time still feels weird."
- She mentioned, the sensation of singing one's freedom never really been a fun one to feel.
- "I hope my two owners won't fight!"
- It was almost a casual statement. She got up in a springy step, turning around and almost a bit too eerily she seemed to have washed away the worries that were troubling her to the point of almost abandoning herself to the embrace of death.
- The bruised up doll moved beside her new partial owner and held their hand. For now she could act, play as if this changed anything.
- But deep down she felt the same. But at least playing a role helped.
