Kid Anon and Mommashy part 12

>You stare back at her, you feel uncomfortable on this trade off of looks. Then you realise, she is royalty. Time to show her how gentlema...col...ehly you can be!
>You quickly get on one knee and bow. "Your Princessness! I apologise for umm....staring!"
>Twilight herself snapped out of it, she was tired and felt a case of deja vu when she looked at you "Oh...ummm..You don't need to do that. Infact, I'd rather you just never do that. Just Twilight will do"
>Crap, two seconds into meeting her and you somehow messed up. You internally cursed Rarity. A proper greeting should have worked. You cough and salute "Will do! Miss Twilight"
>Twilight giggled abit. Darnit, now she was laughing at you. Your first run in with royalty and you somehow screwed up!
>As you fidgeted about. Twilight looked towards Fluttershy "I'm just going to take a guess that this is Anon, he's kind of cute...but it's strange. Now that I see him for myself, there aren't even any illustrations of something like him in any of the books or manuscripts I have"
>Great, again you were being treated as a "wonder sideshow". You were passed the point of sadness and would just get very annoyed when nopony could just not bring up the fact you were unheard of.
>"Hmmm...That isn't good, I was hoping you'd find something....I've been worried about my little Anon. What if he got really sick or hurt? Nopony would know what to do....I'm...I'm scared even Princess Celestia wouldn't" Fluttershy had been worried about this for awhile, absolutely nopony had any idea what a human was. And while you have always been healthy, she has been worried what would happen if you became seriously sick.
>"Don't worry, I'm sure ever....did you just call him your "little Anon?"Twilight looked surprised and confused, and you were finally at your limit. You were just you, not a thing! not a creature! not an animal!
>You furiously point at Twilight. "That's right! I'm her son! And she's my mom! That's it! Why does there have to be anything more than that?! Why can't any of you just say "hi" to me without it being a big deal!!!!"
>Twilight was taken aback by your outburst. She was more surprised, and even wondering if the relationship was true. But she wasn't going to let you yell at her like that. She had a good reasons to look up information on you.
>Fluttershy was also surprised by your outburst. She was about to tell you that Twilight was only trying to help. But Twilight spoke first, she was already annoyed from all her princess work. She wasn't about to be talked down to by some presumptious kid.
>Twilight stepped towards you as she locked her eyes on you. "Now you listen here, Do I admit I tried to study up to find out more about you...yes" Her voice became angrier with every word "But Fluttershy was also worried enough to tell me that she knew nothing about how you function, I gave up alot of my time tripling my efforts so incase you got sick, I could do something about it! I'm sorry that you feel like an outsider, but you technically are! And you'll have to get over it..."
>You stepped back and gulped. Nopony had ever spoken like that to you.
>Fluttershy was surprised aswell "Twilight.....why did?...he's just a child"
>Twilight took a breath. She apologised for her tone. But she felt you needed a slap of reality. She had heard bits and pieces of your reaction to other's first impression of you. Child or not. She could see the anger broiling from you. And she didn't want it to grow to something nasty. "Fluttershy....havn't you explained to him at all that other ponies were going to react like that? I know it hurts, but everypony sees past that eventually." She turns toward you "There's no reason to hold on to that kind of anger. It isn't worth it. And if anypony can't see past it. Then that's thier problem"
>Not even two seconds in meeting her, she attempted to pound in a lesson into you. The things she heard were more staggering than she let on. She didn't know you were going to jump at her like that either, so she wanted to nip it in the bud as quickly as possible.
>You weren't done however. The fact she told you to accept it, without even any kind of face time. Really bothered you. "You don't know anything! You don't even know me and you think you know how I feel?! I thought you'd be cool. But your just another adult who thinks they know everything! You hadn't even met me! I can be angry if I want to!! It's not like I just wanted to be here anyway! I woke up here!!!"
>Fluttershy tried to interject, asking to change the subject. But Twilight wasn't going to budge either, perhaps it was the growing stress of being a fully blown princess. Or perhaps even a curiousness into the nature of this new species infront of her. or it could have been both. But she would not relent.
>"I don't know you, but you don't know me either and you decided to snap at me without even thinking of the consequences. If I was someother pony. Things could have gone worse for you, especially if nopony was around to help. Did you think about that? I'm sorry that you just happened to show up at our doorstep. I'm sorry you had to adjust. But you just do. Sometimes we are put into situations we never thought we could handle. But with good will and help with those you care about, those that matter, you can overcome anything."
>You faltered, you started to tear up. "But...."
>Twilight had to reel back abit, she started to wonder if her mentor or her sister had ever randomly given advice to those they barely knew before. She just didn't want this to be an issue for anypony, she had alot on her plate. And she was worried that if things went completely south. That if you happened to be dangerous. That the town would want you gone......being a princess was difficult.
>You fell on your butt and started to cry. You reached and hugged onto Fluttershy.
>"Twilight" Fluttershy looked at her friend, motherly instincts starting to flare up "You didn't....You didn't have to make him cry. What's....what's gotten into you?"
>Twilight stood stern "Fluttershy, you should understand. You made it no secret you've let something nopony has ever even heard about into your home. Someponies think nothing of it because he's with you, but some has voiced concerns. Even Princess Celestia wants to see him. The last thing anypony needs is a reason to deem him dangerous. From what I can tell, you consider him your son? Do you care about him that much?"
>Fluttershy doesn't hesitate to tell Twilight that she does.
>"Then that's enough reason for me to make sure nothing goes wrong. Fluttershy, you can't just shelter him from everything. He needs to learn to cope with things. Or things like that, that anger. Will just get worse, I have to do what's best for everypony too....you know that."
>Fluttershy looked down "I know but....", She opened a wing and moved it over you as you sobbed.
>Twilight sighed "Well, if you want....I guess we can try this again. Just give me a moment"
>Twilight moves close to Fluttershy and asks if you can eat candy, she nods.
>You don't notice a thing, you're still crying your eyes out as Twilight uses her magic to bring over a palm-sized pink chest and opens it.
>Twilight whispers to herself "Alright Twilight...just try to show him that you can be gentle too"
>Twilight nods silently to Fluttershy, who lifts her wing to reveal you to her.
>Twilight clears her throat "Ahrm ahrm, Given you, Anon, are a newcomer to Equestria, I, Princess Twilight present you with a peace offering of two chocolate swirls and welcome you into the kingdom of Ponyville...." She sounded convincing enough, but her expressions suggested she really didn't like the princess motif.
>She uses her magic to pull out two choclate swirled candies and brings them close to you.
>You heard her words, and your nostrils can smell the decadent smell of the candy treats. You forcibly try to calm your tears as you look over to them. But you stare at them, unmoving. "Are they....poison?"
>Twilight looked at you with annoyance "What?! No! They are normal candy....I'm try...hrmmm...just take em"
>You slowly go to reach one, but they pull away as you reach. "huh? Hey what gives!"
>Twilight gave you an abrasive deep look "...You understand everything I told you right?"
>You don't answer, Fluttershy looks down at you as you sat there holding her leg. "Anon, Twilight...she justs want to make sure you understand, she wants everything to be ok....I want everything to be ok....ummmm...ok?"
>You gave it some deep thought, you still felt hurt. But it almost seemed like a lesson you learned before but in a broader scale. You remember how you learned that your uniqueness, and in turn, how you found everpony unique, Was inevitable....You just didn't want to be reffered as an animal anymore. But it seemed....
>You think about it abit more. Maybe she was right, even if she was abit of a poophead. Maybe it was something you had to deal with....but you still hated it. "I....I think understand mom...."
>The candies flew up to you again as you reach for them and quickly stuff them in your mouth incase they fly away again.
>Twilight slumped to the ground with a groan,hiding her face in her hooves "I hope I didn't give my parents or Cadence this kind of trouble when I was a filly.....uggghhhh"
>You looked at Fluttershy as you stood,swallowed the candy,and hugged onto her. You whispered "mom, is she always so uptight?"
>Fluttershy almost giggled, she held back and whispered to you "Anon, it's not nice to say that.....but there was this one time that she became abit scary when..."
>Twilight looked up at the both of you "I'm right here you know...."
>Fluttershy quickly apologised. But you wanted to know more, so you asked. And you asked. And asked some more until Twilight finally just broke down and told you about when she was a unicorn and she hadn't met a certain weekly requirement. Twilight at this point was doing her best to keep her cool. You were abit of an upstart.
>"Geez, you were uptight before you became a princess too?" You guffawed "You should have some fun! like Pinkie Pie! You do know what fun is right?". You were beginning to feel confident again....aslong as she didn't explode at you or anything.
>Twilight took your insinuation as an insult "What!?! Of course I know what fun is! I can be the meaning of fun! I even know the literal definition of the word! I can have as much fun as a child or millions of Pinkie Pies, I.....I.........I sound like Princess Luna"
>You started to wonder if there was a princess club somewhere, because there seemed to be a bunch of them. Was there a princess for every little town? You were sure they had mayors for that.
>Fluttershy beamed at you happily and stated Twilight can be very fun. She makes a good study partner, she can throw sleepovers...but nothing like Pinkie's, She can tutor anypony on anything, And she can be very outgoing if there is science or learning involved.
>This didn't overly thrill you.
>Twilight noted your less than stellar reaction, she wanted to prove she could be fun, so she brings up "Defenders of Equestria" and her character being "Moonlight Glowstar" and yadda yadda yadda....the game sounded even more complicated and boring coming from her mouth.
>You began to think perhaps you yourself were being abit harsh. You still had lingering anger, and now the pony princess who stinged your heart was trying to prove she was fun, you were feeling nervous, as if you were doing something wrong again. What would Pinkie do?
> "Don't panic Nonny, Just look at what's scaring you most and laugh. Just give it your best shot. Just pick a target and shoot!"
>Those words rung in your head. Maybe not the best words that could spring to your mind. But if you were going to get over it and atleast attempt to better yourself, it was the best words you had.
>Twilight stood there trying to think of something "fun". Fluttershy was trying to think of something equally fun and safe for the both of you. And you just wanted to cheer up Twilight, she...she was looking out for you afterall....you can't stay mad over that. It was time to pick that target...and shoot.
>"Hey..ummm... Miss Twilight?...I thought of something fun...can...can I....ride you?"
>"What? no...I mean..no! no! You can't do that" Twilight was surprised at the question, She doubted she could stabilise her flight indoors with a rider, plus it was humiliating.
>You backed off, apologizing. You felt stupid, you blew it again. You wondered if that was a big no no or not. You were atleast glad you never asked Fluttershy that question.
>Twilight noticed your reaction, she asked you why you'd even suggest that.
>You told her, you just wanted to know how it was to fly, you apologised again. You couldn't even get over your anger without lousing up, you wondered if you should just leave. You looked down in shame.
>Twilight sought for a quick solution to your question, and she had it, quick as a whip. Flight for you was technically impossible. But alittle magic could fix that. "If you wanted to fly, Iiii...could actually arrange that for you"
>She could? Wait of course she could, she was magic afterall. But you still asked how.
>She didn't answer, she instead closed her eyes as you felt a warmth around your body, and you began to lift off the ground.
>You were startled at first, as was Fluttershy, as you started to rise up. Fluttershy asked Twilight to be careful, Twilight only nodded, she wanted to concentrate hard enough as to not make a mistake.
>You were pretty high up, it was excillerating. You were scared and excited at the same time. As you moved your body, you were able to slightly accelerate through the air "Mommy look, I'm a pegahuman now!"
>Fluttershy nervously smiled at you and told you how great that was, while yelling in her mind "pleasedontfallpleasedontfallpleasedontfall"
>You started doing flying kicks and karate chops, you'd be thrown abit around at each action, but you didn't care, this was the most awesomest thing ever.
>Twilight opened her right eye to look at you, you were running along the wall making wooshing noises. She couldn't help but smile. She could tell that this was a completely new experience to you.
>She then looked at Fluttershy, She could see deep within her eyes the compassion she held for you. She couldn't quite understand what made her adopt you as her own. But she decided she didn't need too, Fluttershy was one of her closest friends. She trusted her judgement.
>After abit of time, Fluttershy asked Twilight to bring you down. You were abit disappointed. But you did have fun, and thanked Twilight. Twilight chucked and told you it was alright. In her mind, you were definitely like any other filly or colt, one little super fun thing and they warmed up to anything.
>Twilight asked Fluttershy if she could speak to her in private. Fluttershy agreed, and she asked you to stay in the room while she and Twilight discuss what she wanted to talk about.
>Twilight asked Fluttershy if she'd mind bringing you early tommorow, she wanted to discuss with you a few things, learn abit more about you, and talk about the upcoming visit of Princess Celestia. Fluttershy was worried if it might be too much for you to process, but Twilight assured her she'd handle it delicately. Fluttershy took a second to think, and told her it's probably ok.
>With that, once again goodbyes were in order, as Twilight explained she was behind on her duties. But she'd love to have you over again.
>You felt that she atleast needed a hug, she was still uptight. And hugs always made you feel better afterall.
>And so you gave her that hug, the warmest hug you could. You could feel how tense she felt. It seems she's been on edge lately. But she was warm, and she did hug you back. You could feel some of that tenseness relax as you both embraced the huggles.
>In the end, visiting the castle was a pretty good idea. You grew to be even better, you met a princess, and you got chocolate and flew about. Truly that was greatness.
