- -) Lv.4 Limits Sidequest: These are character-specific and they need to be in the party when you go to get them. For Cloud, Tifa, and Cid; they have to be Party Leader when you go to get theirs (the option to change party leader is accessed from the new NPC on the right-hand side of the Operations Room on the Highwind).
- Cloud: Head into the Shinra Mansion Basement in Nibelheim, a scene will trigger. This is the toughest fight of the Lv.4 Sides and is a solo fight for Cloud.
- Barret: Head into North Corel and talk to the new NPC (an old man) wandering around. He'll tell you about a package waiting for you up at the Corel Reactor. Go up there and on a small plateau you'll see a treasure chest sitting; to access this Plateau, go back a screen and jump off the train tracks to head up the stairs.
- Tifa: When Tifa is party leader, head into her house and play the tune on the piano (like you would when trying to get Final Heaven normally). You'll instead find a note telling you to head up to the Nibel Reactor. Inside is a boss to fight, standing outside the Jenova room.
- Aeris: Head back to the Forgotten City altar (the fish blocking the way will be gone, and the stairs will be there again). You'll find the boss waiting on the altar.
- Red XIII: Head back to Cosmo and trigger the scene where Bugenhagen dies. Instead of Limited Moon, he'll give you a Key to the Gi Cave that lets you go back down there. Head to the very back of the cave where Seto is and you'll find a new boss.
- Cait Sith: Head for the Temple of the Ancients and talk to Cait Sith there to trigger a scene. Note that you'll get a Dark Matter Key Item instead of a Limit (Cait doesn't have a Lv.4 Limit).
- Yuffie: Head back to Godo's house in Wutai and go into the golden statue room that's in the back. An NPC will be waiting there for you.
- Vincent: Same as picking up Death Penalty and Chaos in the normal game, visit Lucrecia's Cave to trigger a scene (there are two scenes, with the second only triggering after you've spent some time fighting some monsters; I'll be removing this 'time limit' from 1.3, because it's annoying).
- Cid: Head for Midgar's Wall Market and attempt to repair the broken Item Shop (the automated one that shoots at you). A boss fight will start up.
