Episode 7.5!

[20:42:08] <Tim> LAST TIME!  We left off in the middle of an episode, again!  Four thugs had just taken a cobblestone nap thanks to the group's combined efforts, and the remaining six are backing away into the alley, their swords up, staying away from the door.  One of them, in better armor than the rest, gives them directions, and shouting for "You!  Run and tell our employers we've been compromised!"
[20:42:26] <Tim> The youngest mercenary salutes quickly, and withdraws, running off behind them down the alleyway.
[20:42:46] <Mina> "You guys want that one?"
[20:44:16] <Moirrey> "I'd really prefer if we got that one what just ran off!"
[20:44:29] <Mina> "What I meant!"
[20:51:15] Hayri looks for an opening, perhaps around or over the group of mercenaries.
[20:53:18] Mina doesn't bother, flames licking over her shortsword.  She decides for the most expedient route, rushing up to the door and towards the tries to close with the well-armoured one!
[20:54:47] Moirrey just decides to go and whack one of the other mercenaries with her frying pan.
[20:58:31] <Tim> Along the left-hand wall of the alley is a tall stack of several warehouse crates, either discarded, degraded by age, or damaged by misuse.  It's just about wide enough, and just steep enough, that Khan could potentially run along it.
[21:24:07] Moirrey moves over to one of the Mercenaries and quickly jolts foward! She grabs the man's forearm and quickly twists it backwards painfully, pinning his arm and unbalancing him, before dragging him forward suddenly, and using her knee to trip the man off his feet! Finally, now that he's completely unbalanced and in her grip, she slams him into the ground with a loud thud.
[21:26:19] <Tim> The crates are, fortuitously, stacked just wide enough and with enough incline for Khan to climb like a hillside.
[21:26:57] Mina simply rushes forward, her sword trailing flames, and cuts off the lead bandit's head as he raises his arms to attack.  She looks over at the one next to her and grins.  "Run?"  A casual offer as the head falls to the ground, and the body shortly after.
[21:27:03] Hayri clicks his heels in, giving a command to his noble bird in his native tongue. Khan takes off, and with guidance races up the crates on the side, taking off towards the other side of the melee!
[21:27:07] <Tim> His helmed head cracks against the ground, falling in a clatter of armor, the sword dropping from his grip.  He swears colorfully, Moirrey.
[21:28:41] <Tim> Well, he does until his head hits, that shuts him up.
[21:29:35] <Moirrey> "Yeah, yeah! Learning chiropractic manuevers has really helped!"
[21:30:18] <Tim> The mercenaries try to respond, but it all happens too fast, you're through them in moments.  Mina fells one, Moirrey renders another senseless by hurling him to the ground with surprising skill...and as Hayri goes for the crates, Khan's head lashes out to the side, his great, axelike beak crunching down at full force on either side of a mercenary's metal helmet, denting it inward and...
[21:30:19] <Tim> ...dropping him messily to the ground.
[21:31:19] <Tim> Three remain, one running, and the other two pause for only a moment before speeding after him
[21:32:42] <Moirrey> "Gaha! I got one alive!" Moirrey says, grinning widely, as she plants a foot on the Mercenary she just took down's back.
[21:33:23] <Mina> "Good!  That makes my job easier."
[21:46:50] Hayri rides forth down off the stacks, slashing one of the two late-runners with a well placed blow - but the attack seems to have thrown off Khan's timing...
[21:50:02] <Tim> ...only a little, as the black terror bird screeches and rolls into the movement, lashing out with one long claw.  The force of the impact strikes the fleeing mercenary's back and slams him to the ground, maille rings popping into the air as the great claws dig in, the bird shrieking a warcry.
[21:50:10] <Tim> *warcry all the while.
[21:55:11] Mina runs up behind them like a demon from a story, and reaches down.  Her sword cuts at the leg of one of the bandits, and she runs past almost offhandedly while he topples
[21:56:20] <Tim> He falls, howling, thoroughly hamstrung and probably going to bleed out unless he gets medical attention.  Khan finishes off the one that he'd stomped on, one of the dangers of terror birds is their ferocity.
[21:57:54] Hayri wheels around, surveying what now sits as the wreckage of the former mercenary band.
[22:03:13] <Tim> It's a bloodbath, the three of you just cut through eleven men in the space of a few minutes.  At least one is alive, but it's a real mess, and the sky is starting to lighten further.
[22:03:58] <Mina> "Hey, Moirey, wanna patch that guy up?"  She points a thumb back at the man she just took down.  "I'll make sure your guest there doesn't get away."
[22:05:09] <Tim> Khan grunts, looking satisfied, and begins preening.
[22:05:50] Hayri climbs down, gives Khan a loving pat, and heads back down the towards the warehouse.
[22:09:41] <Hayri> Reaching the warehouse entrance, he lifts the fallen Adanian man and slings him over Khan's back, prepared to walk back on foot.
[22:10:41] <Tim> The hamstrung guy has a bad wound, he'd be dead quickly if Moirrey wasn't here.
[22:12:36] Moirrey shrugs and says "Yeah, yeah.". She walks over to the man with the large leg wound and pops a pinch of various plants into her mouth, quickly chewing them up as she measures out a length of bandages and finds her needle and string. Along the way to him, she grabbed a length of wood from one of the broken crates. After the preparations, she quickly stitches up the wound, and
[22:12:36] Moirrey then spits out the mix of herbs and plants, now a wet mush. She spreads it over the stitched wound, and then places the stick of wood...
[22:12:41] <Moirrey> ...against his leg, before bandaging the whole length of the wound.
[22:13:03] <Mina> "Thanks.  Two witnesses means one can't lie"
[22:14:57] <Tim> The unconscious guy had a pot-shaped helmet on, unadorned and faintly dented.  These guys have company steel rather than a uniform, looted or found armor, much of it secondhand.  Since they have plain maille on, it doesn't show much, unless you look closely at the styling.
[22:15:18] Hayri goes inside the warehouse quickly, grabbing a uniform from the crate. Taking that with him he heads back out. "Need me to carry one of them?"
[22:15:56] <Mina> "If you would.  I left one of them back there with moirrey.  I'll go have a little chat with the guy in the warehouse."
[22:15:58] Moirrey drags the man she's mended over to the other unconcious guy.
[22:16:11] Mina goes to to do just that
[22:16:39] <Moirrey> "He should live!" Moirrey says to Mina as she gets closer. "Can't say he'll be able to walk well for a while, but that's better than bled out in an alley."
[22:17:56] <Hayri> "Eh?  We're not going to just take them back to the ship?"
[22:18:57] <Mina> "That's the plan.  But i figure we should go over, explain a few things."
[22:35:58] <Tim> He's still groaning and cursing, in at least two languages.  Possibly three, you think that last one was Yurandish.
[22:36:10] <Tim> or Rossilian, he's a little slurred still
[22:37:25] Moirrey stares down at the man. "Yeah, yeah, you'd better thank me later."
[22:38:02] <Tim> "T-thanks ma'am.  Aggghhh, Shade-born, hell-haired, Rillwitch!"
[22:39:41] <Moirrey> "Yeah, yeah, good enough."
[22:42:43] Mina walks back up, hands behind her head.  "So?"
[22:42:48] <Tim> "Gah!  How can such a little woman do that!  It isn't right!"
[22:43:05] <Tim> At least her sword was on fire, that actually helped stop any chance of infection.
[22:43:40] <Moirrey> "Far as I can tell, people's got nothing but time to practice when they're on those ships. Besides, you should be thanking her. If it weren't for that partial cauterization, you'd be stone cold right now."
[22:44:06] <Mina> "I try, I try.  So, is he walking his way back?"
[22:44:35] <Moirrey> "Unless you're hiding a crutch somewhere, I have my doubts."
[22:44:45] <Tim> "I'm not thanking any flat-chested little...!" He sputters for a word to describe her.
[22:45:14] <Mina> "Flat-chested?  FLAT CHESTED?!"
[22:45:44] Mina raises up a hand and glares.  "One more word!"
[22:46:30] Mina opens her hand up and lets a little flame form in it.  "And we'll see how well you run!"
[22:47:06] <Moirrey> "Ay, Ay! Slow your roll! I ain't letting anyone I used bandages and stitches on get murdered until he's out of my care, got that?" she says, quickly. Then, she looks back to the prisoner and says "Still, never said anything about a few more superficial wounds, so i'd quiet down if I were you."
[22:51:38] <Mina> "Then maybe he should watch his words a little more carefully."  She lets herself be placated, hand dropping
[22:52:30] <Moirrey> "Y'hear that, kid? If you don't want to be murderfied, stay quiet like your friend, here" she explains, before lightly kicking the unconcious man nearby.
[22:52:35] <Tim> He mumbles and grumbles, but doesn't say anything cohrent, glaring.
[22:53:28] Hayri lifts up the unconscious man of the two, after going back in and also slinging the scrawny accountant-type over Khan's back. "Back to the ship, then?"
[22:54:23] <Mina> "Back to the ship."
[22:56:08] <Tim> "And you're just leaving the goods?" He didn't see anyone grab a uniform, after all.
[22:57:26] Hayri jangles the one he grabbed.
[22:58:03] <Mina> "We'll come back for those."  She grins
