  1. 19:05] She was going to say a tear to the void, but that's neither here nor there! Now to talk about Golem project.
  2.
  3. "Well I already made a prototype command rod based off what I think would be necessary to keep an automated Golem by my side. I know there are a few places that could have Golem information, but I need some really high end stuff. I want to make a Golem with 9 aspects. Plus I want it to be strong enough to protect me and the forge on it's on." She removes the prototype command rod from her back showing it to him. I already know a good portion of the runes that we would need to move a golem of any size, but the trouble for me really is the power source, the command core, the command rod, and the logic core. All of which will take time to gather and create. The command rod is really just for more control over the Golem when it's complete, but yeah. Other than these general ideas and a solid design for all of the runes to make the golem move I'm not sure what else."
  4.
  5. She nodded a few times. Really the advanced diagram or research notes would help her create a fake circuitry of sorts. It would exist by linking all of the core aspect materials together in a system with some artificial circuitry of like modified orichalcum to channel it. Possible something much more wonderous. After all it would be interesting if the circuits also grew like a regular person's.
  6. (Nena Denalia)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [19:20] Saddest part was that the Lorekeeper wouldn't have even known what the void was. His gaze ended at the Tarian's peak! His attention simply rested upon Nena and her words. His gaze following the command rod, was it for more detailed commands? The one he'd seen within the Astor vault hadn't needed anything like that. Perhaps it was the difference between simple and advanced commands.
  10.
  11. "I would suggest we raid an old forgery of Anastesia ven Astor. I raided an old manor of hers as a child but was to young to realize I should have robbed their library. Still, I can remember the great sight of the Golem and believe replicating it would be doable for us."
  12.
  13. He then gave a hum shifted his gaze along the rows of books and then looking back to Nena. "We will of course need a strong frame for the golem of that I've the intent of crafting something powerful. Perhaps a nyeshk framework to support the automation. I've thought aboutthe runes themselves and believe I've access to stronger runes than most. A scroll I found within Garljing's hall would do well for us. It details advanced rune-magic not known beyond the Red Keep's halls.
  14.
  15. "Though, I must be truthful in saying I've the urge to write its logic core myself. Utilizing a scale of Garljing as the base should allow us to layer more commands and sub-routines than even the Synthetics of Achyon." After all he just viewed them as advanced golems. He then brought a hand up to scratch his chin. "Arcanium would be my preffered base when it came to the runemancy upon the logic core."
  16.
  17. Exhaling he'd shifted his gaze behind them looking at the twins. "The power core, we could try and find an elementals heart and utilize a cold-steel and tyrium bond to syphon energy from it to power the automaton." He then shifted his attention back towards the rod.
  18.
  19. "Though, perhaps we should build some practice models before putting all our efforts into the main thing?" All those years in prison had taught him that putting all his eggs in one basket sometimes didn't work out.
  20. (Gajin)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [19:38] Nena thought to herself as he talked. She wasn't really sure they needed hyper advanced runes here. At least beyond what she could do. They might help. Having designs that were extremely high functioning with low power consumption.
  24.
  25. At least Nena hoped that's what they were. Other wise a few material modification runes linked up to a receiver rune, and several force runes that were designed with 3d spacial movement in mind would most likely work. Placing in between each joint or even a subspace between each joint.
  26.
  27. Hmmm, preferred base? She would have to question him a bit more on that. What else was there...
  28.
  29. She was totally fine with him writing the logic for his own golem. Nena would have plans for hers. Though she would focus on helping him for now as she still needed to do the forge. Tapping her chin she continued to think.
  30.
  31. There were some advanced items that drew on the primal powers or that could generate mana. Her first thought was a high energy crystal, but an elemental's heart would work, but there were limitation to that.
  32.
  33. Her thoughts. "I think it would be a great idea to raid her forge! Though I have a few concerns about the final product as you are laying it out. Nyeshk is rather heavy and also rare. I think having a frame that we place down of it would be good along with orichalcum and arcanium veins. Though I think the outer form should be made of rock or some cheaper metal. We can use the mana it produces to strengthen it like our mana does for use. Plus we can use runs to impart some of the qualities of the Nyeshk onto whatever outer layer we choose! This will let us make a much more light and cost effective model of the Golem. Plus less mana will be needed to move it around."
  34.
  35. Taking a deep breath she continued. "How do you write runes by the way? I think your method will mean a lot to how this should be designed. Arcanium is a good base, but unless we want to use a large amount for the whole Golem we might want to make sure to blend it with some Orichalcum to preserve the mana transferring factors, but increase how much we can get. As well orichalcum is softer and will be easier for it to almost grow into the rocks or frame surrounding it. Then again runes can always fix that." She wagged her head back and forth a bit.
  36.
  37. "I think a combination of meaning imagery runes, very high end leylines and words runes would be best for the logic core, so it has room to adapt. Though with a given direction with the imagery runes. The elemental's heart is a bit one lane. I would prefer more of a purer energy source. Something that isn't so transfixed to a single element as the core, so it's capable of changing a bit and being easily modifiable. Though yeah! We should totally build several practice models and see what works!" Giving a warm smile she finished her thoughts on that.
  38. (Nena Denalia)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [19:55] "Don't worry so much on costs. We're making art here and I've gathered a respectable amount of nyeshk for such a thing. Though, as I said a simple framework to protect the most sensitive inner workings of the golem. As for the outer layer, mithril is truly the only choice. Rock? No we're trying to forge something to show Esshar we're the greatest artificers on the world."
  42.
  43. He gave a little hum and then simply pulled forth the sword Volund. Showing the runic scrip that flowed along the blade. One thing to note was that Gajin preferred the use of interwoven lesser runes that rolled from one to the other until they created the power of a larger rune. It allowed for a fine degree of control over power output but of course lead to things being more complicated and limited the full power of the runic bond in question. What's more the runes seemed to be tied together with a strange form of rune, one that when read sounded akin to his words spoken at the ritual for the Dragon egg.
  44.
  45. "I've knowledge of Dragonforging techniques, which detailed old methods of utilizing draconic words, and ones blood. To forge a connection that stands stronger than the norm. It allows me to be a little more free in my usage of runic syntax and grammar."
  46.
  47. He then shifted his attention the side looking down the aisle of books.
  48.
  49. "Yes, of course the costs would be to much for Arcanium to form the base for all the circuitry. That is why I wish only to utilize it for the logic core. Other locations can be a bit slower in their capacity." He then nodded to Nena.
  50.
  51. "You're right of course an elementals core would be limiting but in truth I simply want something rather basic. I won't lie that I fancy finding one of those Chirons and utilizing it but I wager that'd be impossible. So, of course an energy core would be feasible. We could forge one I wager if we're smart about it." With a shift of his focus he looked back to the younger Drakanite.
  52.
  53. "I would say the practice models could be forged of cheaper materials over-all, with simple logic cores. Who knows if we get truly good at streamlining the process we might find ourself with a steady workforce."
  54. (Gajin)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [20:12] Nena thought a bit. The point of rock was to make a flesh that could regrow. Maybe she was going to human like. To living with this. Human flesh could be torn with bear hands until it was infused with mana.
  58.
  59. The same could be said for rocks. Plus the basic materials would mean that it could regrow with less mana usage. Though honestly if she was going to do metal it would be mithril.
  60.
  61. Looking at the runes on the sword it wasn't to dissimilar to her own if not just more of one thing. Nena had access to several different styles she blended together and work with the meanings of using leylines to regulate everything and keep it as efficient as possible. Even a portion of the rune could fail and usually hers would keep working. She was trained by someone who's only claim to fame was Rune mastery and studied the world. Gajin's technique was neat and she really liked it, cause it solved the base problem to get to the next tier of rune making. Somewhere adjacent to her own method of doing it and adjacent to how Achyon did it. Interesting! Probably a bit closer to how Achyon did it then hers to be honest by the look of things.
  62.
  63. "I see, I wouldn't mind looking at that too then, but I think for my style for the point that I'm at I want to move towards using space even better. Make runes that can be written one another plane." Not bothering to explain that concept right now. Though she would love to include more runes into her vocabulary.
  64.
  65. "I still think that we should think of the Golem like people, but better and more sturdy. So, thinking about making a fake circuitry with orichalcum infused with a bit of Arcanium is necessary. Let it be able to adapt a bit better by giving it the means to grow. Also if we could get any pure energy beast's core that would be great. I think Chirons are of course great. Chiron for everything." She laughed lightly. "I want to use Chiron on my wedding rings." Kind of just running through things again in her head. Not to much to add.
  66.
  67.
  68. She stuck out her tongue lightly. "Yep yep. Sounds all good to me~"
  69. (Nena Denalia)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [20:24] Gajin knew a lot but in the end he was a warrior and his thinking was a little linear. It showed in his work and even more in his runes. Perhaps that meant in the end he'd not reach heights akin to what he was coming to recognize as Nena's own. For a brief moment he considered if he should take a few steps back in his own work and compare it to his peers. Which he had no clue how it compared to many others. Nena's had been the first he'd looked at. No, he was were he'd stay and he could only push forwards in his own style.
  73.
  74. Stubborn, but he'd not become who he was through being fluid. Earthen magi.
  75.
  76. He was about to offer a response that perhaps broke down how he viewed the golems. No, he didn't view them as people. He viewed them as something else entirely. More akin to divinity than people in their nature but those thoughts were shook off by the joke about Chirons and then the very childish nature of Nena. His softly glowing green hues simply looked at her tongue and then at her.
  77.
  78. "..."
  79.
  80. Slowly his lips curled back into a smile as his mind shifted from the hard-set topic of Golemancy towards a lighter stance. "You're funny, that's good I like working with people who've a sense of humor." He then brought his hands together bringing them up to hook around the back of his head.
  81.
  82. "Heh, I had never thought of what I would place upon my wedding irons. Chiron though is a good choice but I could never." A chuckle escaped his lips as he continued. "To explosive, I believe I'd build something a little safer."
  83. (Gajin)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85.
  86. [20:33] She laughed a little bit. Yep, only a joke and nothing more.
  87.
  88. "If you use Chiron you can bind your soul to the other person's forever! An old design I found once~" She smiled, but of course she wouldn't go out of her way to put Chiron in her rings.
  89.
  90. At this point she was smiling warmly. "Safer, huh? Ah, everything is safe with the right runes. Hmmm, It sounds like we have a good idea for the base of the golems. At least... if I followed the conversation and didn't get lost in thought to much I did." Looking back to the forge behind him. It reminded her a lot of her forge at home. Someone had once asked why she needs to anvils, and that's obvious. To forge more things at once.
  91.
  92. Looking back to Gajin her liquid metal wings, tail, and horns came out of her, and she gave a thumbs up to him "Good! I don't know how long I can be serious anyway! Dragon forgers union! Uhhh, hmmmm…" Should they unionize? Could get paid vacation. Oh, right Nena already did whatever she wanted and when she wanted. A union would be pointless... unless! Custom jackets.
  93.
  94. Note to self. Custom jackets for every group I'm apart of. Back to regular thoughts. "So is that all then? Everything you've uncovered and the like?" The small almost space heater like Drakanite would smile at him warmly.
  95. (Nena Denalia)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. [20:39] He rose a brow at that, binding souls? Not unlike the Terraphim way of things. That would very interesting and rather romantic. "You don't say." Though, he didn't pry into it. He wasn't very freely giving of his own secrets nor did he expect any other Drakanite to be. He followed the display of metallic naturality within her blessing and chuckled. Wonder why Rune didn't have such a thing? Probably was to much of a muscle head.
  99.
  100. "Dragon forgers union? Yet, I am already among the managing staff. Would for me to join such a thing not be counter-productive? I could wiggle in all kinds of cons to the union." It was all a jest of course and sadly the thought of jackets didn't cross his mind.
  101.
  102. "Ah, yes its all. You may do with your time what you wish." He brought a hand from behind his head and waved it through the air. Letting the little energizer of a Drakanite return to their adventures.
  103. (Gajin)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [20:42] She waved him goodbye. Time to head out and relax! Nena entering shut off mode. Count down.
  107.
  108. 50
  109. 49
  110. 48..
  111.
  112. She would have to move fast. Laughing at her own thoughts she runs out speaking to him as she does. "It was a wonderful talk! Have a lovely day!"
