Digital Manga Guild Hires FOB Editors

I made this paste since I don't want to be bogged down in describing that fuck-up by the editor, so for anyone who actually gave a shit about what happened, here it is:


Scene: A female character, who happens to be a wrestler, is walking through Osaka with a fellow female wrestler holding a bunch of food items in her hand. She has clearly been to a lot of restaurants and food carts.

My original line:
Megu: Peach, you’re eating way too much! We’re supposed to fight a match later!
Peach: Relax, Megu! It’s just a scripted tag team match. And since this town is lousy with places to eat, let’s try one more

Here's what the editor changed it to:

MEGU: PEACH, YOU’RE EATING WAY TOO MUCH! WE’RE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT A MATCH LATER!
PEACH: RELAX, MEGU! IT’S JUST A SCRIPTED TAG TEAM MATCH. AND SINCE THIS TOWN IS LOUSY WHEN IT COMES TO PLACES TO EAT, LET’S TRY ONE MORE-

Hopefully you can see how the editor completely bastardized the line because she hasn't heard of the phrase "lousy with." Yes, I'll admit the line may need a little tweaking, and I that I was kind of lazy and expected the editor to make the line work without fucking it up. For those who are interested, here's the original Japanese version of the last line:
