Origins Event

I think Origins is due for a bit of meta fun, so I'd like to do this event sometime soon.

So a group of characters (whoever is around at the time) will notice small distortions in their surrounding area, like glitches in a game. Glitches will get worse for a couple of minutes until everything seems to break down. The entire world surrounding the characters will seem to disappear, and their consciousness being free of a body. The characters will realize that they have become text on a screen, whatever they are saying or thinking having become text, which is also them.

So basically all of the characters will become what they actually are, text on a screen. Characters are free to do what they wish for fun, or for terror. Whether it be finding the /me command, or realizing that they are being controlled by the weird name to their left, all of it can be done. They may even be able to leak into ooc. :)

Of course, this knowledge won't be permanent. As soon as the glitches have been ironed out by the synIRC admins (that will be the story), everyone will forget what happened, and will continue with their fake lives.
