  1. The finale of RPGLB had a lot of people sharing stories of their struggles with mental illness - and how important it was for them to recognize when there was a problem, that they didn't need to be ashamed of it, and that it's *good* to seek help!
  2.
  3. Most of you don't know, but I've been on medication for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder for years. OCD isn't really anything like the common caricature of people who need to wash their hands all the times or keep things in order - it's a serious anxiety disorder where you can't shake negative thoughts and fears from your mind. But over the years I've faced the problem, sought the help I've needed, and learned how to understand *how* my mind works. Hiding from these things doesn't help. I've got it almost completely managed now.

  5. So whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, excessive anger, bipolar issues, feeling alone, delusions... whatever! There's way too much to list - know that there is help out there! Don't be afraid to find it. I know there are a lot of you out there who feel alone and insecure, or who are trying to project an image to fit in - don't! Learn to understand yourself, and find someone to talk to who can help!
  6.
  7. I highly recommend everyone watch the finale of RPGLB and hear some of the encouraging and challenging stories people shared there. (and when you watch the play at the end of FFIX, know that *I* am the one to blame for BbyGrill being Garnet's name!)
  8.
  9. I know not all of you are much into prayer, but if you want me to, let me know and I will be praying for you! I believe there is tremendous hope to be found in Jesus - hope that transcends this world and its momentary struggles.
