My dad gave me a call in the middle of the night, he asked me to come out to the town of Argyle to help him with some work. I said Yes, that I would be there 7am sharp. I didn't know what I was getting into, but this was someone that I looked up to and wanted to make proud. There were storms and tornadoes imminent in the area, and we had to clear out debris from a dirt field that they would be building new developments on over the next year. At the end of the day, about 14 hours of tractor work, I took a look at our trucks and noticed just how on track I was to becoming what I always looked up to. Fall is about family, and as little as I had left, I wanted to make sure I kept it close.
