  1. (Saved this because I felt it was necessary. Since readers from both sides visit my Pastebin, it felt like something I should do.)

  4. Alright, I've seen this said many-a-time, and I think it's time I throw my two cents into it.

  9. First off, for those who exclusively lurk Flutterrape and only know me for being in here with Vocaroos and some Scootaloo story from time to time, I came here from AiE; I've been posting in there since thread 1 with the Wuten name, and before that in the early predecessors under Anonymous.

  11. Now, it seems that the big issue here is that Flutterrape sees AiE as very elitist and strict in what people post. And yes, we will concede to a few of these; there are just some things that have been posted in there that, well, people don't like, and Anons ESPECIALLY make their opinions very vocal in AiE when they don't like something.
  12.
  13. On the flip-side, a lot of people in AiE see Flutterrape threads as "hipsters that liked Flutterrape" which eventually turned into Ponyrape General. And in that regard, a lot of people here will admit that there is some truth to that statement; this thread recently went through a huge debate about that in fact, and we all remember how that turned out.

  15. The point is, there -are- valid points on both sides as to how one doesn't like the other, and vice versa. But just because you don't like how something works, doesn't mean it's inherently "bad". If you feel your story is better posted in AiE, post it there and link it here. If you feel it's better posted in Flutterrape, post it here and, well, if you have readers over in AiE (I know that Jibber and Raritan's names have both come up over there), link your posts over there for readers that don't lurk both threads. Not many people are going to complain where you post your story, and those who -do- complain need to get the stick out of their ass and realize that there's not a damn thing they can do about it.
  16.
  17. TL;DR: Post stories where you want, give no fucks about what people say. You will have a silent majority of Anons that enjoy what you write, no matter where you post.
