Game 1
EatsMortals and evansheer exchanged their greetings and the feature match for round 2 began with EatsMortals winning the dice roll and choosing to play. Evansheer was not happy with his opener and chose to go with six-card hand. Eatsmortals‘s only turn 1 play was tapland in form of Glacial Fortress. Evansheer played Scalding Tarn, fetching a Mountain, which was used to cast Grim Lavamancer. EatsMortals followed with turn 2 Seachrome Coast, thwn passed again. Evansheer tapped his lone Mountain to cast Goblin Guide, which EatsMortals let resolve. He played Teetering Peaks as his next land, pumping his Lavamancer to 3/1. Evansheer swung with the team and put EatsMortals to 15.
EatsMortals hit his landdrop with Seachrome Coast and cast Blade Splicer, who promised to turn the tides around a little bit. Evansheer played Mountain and cast Shrine of Burning Rage with one mana open, then passed the turn.
Game slowed down a little bit, as EatsMortals played tapped Glacial Fortress and Sword of Feast and Famine, then passed without attacking. Evansheer played Scalding Tarn, getting a Mountain and putting himself to 18 in the process. He used his Lavamancer to shoot Blade Splicer, leaving EatsMortals with only his Golem token. Evansheer then tapped three of his lands, casting Devastating Summons for two 4/4s into kicked Goblin Bushwhacker. Evansheer swung with all his creatures. EatsMortals revealed Mana Leak from top of his library, then after a moment of thought conceded the game.

Game 2
EatsMortals chose to play again, both players kept their openers and game 2 of this feature match began with EatsMortals playing another tapland, this time Celestial Colonnade. Evansheer played only a Mountain, then shipped the turn back. EatsMortals went with Inkmoth Nexus and cast Squadron Hawk, fetching 2 of his other 1/1 birds.
Evansheer played a Mountain on his turn and followed it with Ember Hauler and with nothing to do, he passed. EatsMortals played another Colonnade, using his untapped land to play another Squadron Hawk, searched for his 4th one, then passed the turn back.
Evansheer played his third Mountain and cast Goblin Chieftain. He attacked only with Ember Hauler, being afraid of Chieftain being double-blocked. EatsMortals Preordained on his turn, putting one card on bottom and drawing the other, then he played Celestial Colonnade.
Evansheer drew for his turn and cast another Chieftain, pumped Ember Hauler with Teetering Peaks and attacked with everyone. EatsMortals had Celestial Purge for one Chieftain and he blocked other two goblins with his Hawks, resulting in no life loss for him.
EatsMortals cast Preordain on his turn, shipping one card on the bottom. He played Kor Firewalker and another Squadron Hawk before passing the turn. Evansheer cast Ember Hauler and kicked Bushwhacker on his turn, putting EatsMortals to 19, thanks to Firewalker. He attacked with the lone Hauler, which got blocked by Squadron Hawk. Evansheer had nothing else to do, so he passed the turn.
EatsMortals played Gideon Jura on his turn, which was supposed to stall the game for a turn. Evansheer’s attack on his turn resulted in Gideon dying under the pressure of Goblins. Evansheer played Grim Lavamancer, gaining EatsMortals 1 life and passed. EatsMortals played Blade Splicer and Squadron Hawk, then passed without doing anything else. Evansheer drew his card and immediately shipped the turn back. EatsMortals played another Gideon and used his +2 ability. Evansheer attempted to cast Lightning Bolt, but EatsMortals had a Mental Misstep for it, putting him to 19 life total. Evansheer drew his card for the turn, gave himself a while to think about the situation. After he saw no way out of it, he scooped and players were off to game 3.

Game 3
Evansheer was on play and both players were satisfied with their sevens. Evansheer started with Scalding Tarn, putting himself to 19, when he fetched Mountain to část Goblin Guide. Hasty goblin attacked and revealed Preordain on top of EatsMortals’s deck, while getting him to 18. EatsMortals played Plains on his turn and passed. Evansheer had a Mountain and another Goblin Guide, which joined the first one in the attack. EatsMortals revealed Gideon Jura and evansheer knew he had to seal the game before the planeswalker comes into play.
That task seemed difficult after EatsMortals had Glacial Fortress and played Kor Firewalker on his turn. Evansheer didn’t worry about red-hating Kor and used Dismember to take care of it on his turn, while also losing 4 life, which got him to 15. Goblin Guides attacked again, revealing Blade Splicer and lowering EatsMortals’s life total to 10. EatsMortals played another Glacial Fortress on his turn and used it to play Preordain, leaving both cards on top and playing another Kor Firewalker, which could buy him a few turns.
Evansheer did not have another Dismember, so he just played Arid Mesa and Spikeshot Elder, putting his opponent at 11, and passed the turn. EatsMortals had Blade Splicer on his turn and decided to do nothing else, because of his Colonnade, which entered the battlefield tapped. Evansheer fetched a Mountain with Arid Mesa at end of turn, finding himself at 14 life. He used the Mountain immediately as he Bolted the Golem. On his turn, evansheer just drew his card and shipped the turn back.
EatsMortals played tapped Seachrome Coast and used two mana to play Squadron Hawk, searching for other three. Evansheer played Shrine of Burning Rage on his turn, which got destroyed by EatsMortals’s Divine Offering at end of turn, putting him to 14 life total. EatsMortals cast Hero of Bladehold, looking to deal some serious damage if not dealt with. Hero survived until evansheer’s turn, when he found Combust for him, putting EatsMortals to 15.
EatsMortals played Glacial Fortress on his turn, tapping five lands to cast Gideon Jura and getting his loyalty up to 8. Evansheer played Mountain on his turn, using two mana to cast kicked Goblin Bushwhacker and tapped his Mountain to kill Squadron Hawk with Lightning Bolt, gaining EatsMortals another 2 life. Then he attacked with Spikeshot Elder, Bushwhacker and two Goblin Guides. EatsMortals traded Blade Splicer for Elder and blocked one of the Guides with his Firewalker. Gideon was left with 3 loyalty counters.
EatsMortals Preordained on his turn, switching the order of the cards he saw with it. He then proceeded to play two Squadron Hawks and Gideon’s -2 killed the remaining Goblin Guide. EatsMortals then attacked with his Kor, putting evansheer to 12. Evansheer played Arid Mesa on his turn and cracked it for a Mountain, resulting in life total of 11. He played Hero of Oxid Ridge, gaining EatsMortals another point of life and attacked his opponent with Hero and his planeswalker with Goblin Bushwhacker. This attacked lowered EatsMortals’s life total to 14 and Gideon’s loyalty to 0.
EatsMortals played another Gideon on his turn, destroying Hero with his -2 ability. He attacked with his Hawks and evansheer found himself on 9 life. Evansheer drew his card and found he had no way to turn this game around, EatsMortals is the winner of this match.
