[08:08] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): The group has been in a really stagnant state for the past month and a half since I've joined. We've had little to no direction. I attempted to go through the proper channels with my complaints/issues. At the same time IC was being affected by his absence as well.
[08:11] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): What it's come down to at this point is that the group, bar Rual and Synade, is unhappy with the leadership at both an OOC and IC level. The guy went to build another sim and sort of left Darius, a guy that's only been around for 3 months.. to basically have all of the responsibilities of a faction lead. That caused a lot of drama and a lot of unnecessary confusion between everyone.
[08:12] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): I attempted to handle it IC, rather than cause the drama that inevitably happened last night after he got wind of a coup. My character had legitimate reasons ICly as to why he felt that the leadership had overstepped the boundaries put in place by Vader.
[08:13] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): It's been one of the more active groups really, involved in a lot of events and conflicts.  I think it might be a matter of time zones or something.   He's still been around most of the time and all.  Darius though is a bit impulsive.  but when the people supporting something like it are Ara and Atre there's like no way it's not going to be seen as OOC influenced because of their prior slander and all that.  How do you think they've done that?
[08:17] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): It's easy to say it's been an active but you can't attribute that to its leader. Especially when 95% of the group feels that way about said leader.
[08:18] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): My character believes they've overstepped the boundaries put in place by lord vader.. they maim students, deny them medical service and teach abilities ICly that "rouse one back to life with the force".. that's something that Palpatine couldn't even do.
[08:20] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): My thinking is.. if it takes Rual 4 days to switch over titles (something that legitimately takes 2 seconds and 2 clicks to do), he should really consider if him being at the helm is stunting the group. If he was around then he would've seen the opinions of his group members from both an IC and OOC perspective.

[08:23] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): I don't think that's really accurate with the 90%.  Vader pretty much started that method with the students with carving them up/making them suffer.  The rouse one back to life is a bit ?!!? that I do take issue with if it's true, but it's something I'd pull aside to talk about not decide to jettison into space.

[08:25] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): I'm looking at the group right now. Kings2Glaciers, Selkra, Gamma, Atreyu, Alexandria, Arasuum, Jennessa, Relapse, Darius and Jashin all share the same opinions OOCly regarding the inactivity of our faction lead.
[08:25] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): That leaves synade (his gf), Hel and Alice (synade's friends)
[08:27] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): On the part with Atreyu like, being able to drop him if he causes OOC issues was part of the agreement in taking him in, so if he had dropped Atreyu rather than letting Relapse talk to I wouldn't have had issue with.   Selkra, and Gamma don't have rights to have a voice in it as neither of them have been active for months.   Jashin is focused on his cult thing
[08:27] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Plus I"m simply just confused by Rual.. he doesn't communicate with anyone well. I was promoted to Inquisitor 2 days after Synade and the very day they partnered he pushed her to officer position. Though he also has "i don't fuck with relationships" but.. he's in a relationship. It's just a mess. He told Darius he was stepping down last night, though I'm not sure if there's any truth to that.
[08:28] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Selkra disappeared because of the state of the group the day I joined.
[08:28] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): Yeah, I can agree that the Synade thing is a little concerning.   No, Selkra has been getting ready to be away for like 4 months
[08:29] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Rual doesn't have any support in his faction right now from both an IC and OOC perspective. So many people have complained about him on a sim level and a faction level. I realize Selkra is going away for the miltary but it's not unknown that he also saw the issues within the group that no one can avoid.
[08:30] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): If Rual was around, like I said.. he would have saw these opinions shifting at both an IC level and OOC level. I've roleplayed with him twice since joining back in November when he was away from the group building another sim.
[08:30] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): We also shouldn't consider activity just sitting AFK in a skybox, either.
[08:31] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): He certainly isn't perfect but he has been one of the more reliable leads, even with the slight absence for the sim building.  I don't, I'm talking about actual RP and you just killed any activity selkras had ever ;d
[08:32] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): If the majority of the group feels this was about him and wants to improve the group as a whole.. then I'm not sure where to go from here.
[08:32] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): point of npc was to settle some of these type of disputes, but yeah the player of the npc is just too busy
[08:33] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): I've spoken with all of them in a group setting over the past few days. If we're not heard then I fear the group will be Synade, Darius and Rual as most are still very unhappy with his negligent behaviour.
[08:33] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): The Inquisitor's reputation is HORRIBLE on sim.
[08:34] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): So being real;  Selkra, and Gamma don't matter.  Jashin and Arasuum are doing cult stuff anyway.   So that leaves Atreyu, Alexandria, Jennessa, Relapse, and you say Darius ???  as the upset ones?

[08:36] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): What I'm trying to convey to you is that well over half of the group are likely going to find something to do elsewhere on the sim if these issues continue to be ignored.

[08:36] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Rual may very well be communicating with you but that doesn't mean he's communicated with any of us.
[08:37] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): I'm a bit confused cause Darius seems to be the one most have had issue with.
[08:37] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Darius has had these issues because Rual put all of his responsibilities as group lead on Darius, someone that's only been around in SWRP for 3 months and he's an officer in the group as well. He was asking me how to play an INquisitor when I was a trainee.
[08:38] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): So with that in mind.. that's ju st another reason why people aren't happy with the state of the group. Rual can't see that his negligence caused this to happen and he can't see that he's putting people in lead positions that aren't qualified for the role.
[08:39] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): ok, so do you have any suggestions other than just sending him out an airlock?
[08:45] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): I told him that his character could run away, be put in jail, die.. it wasn't my objective to kill a character or grab power as I don't even want to lead the group or be promoted at this point. I just wanted to play an Inquisitor. However the majority feel that Relapse is more than qualified to fill his shoes once the power gap is created.
[08:45] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Though with him telling us he's stepping down.. I'm not sure we'd have the same opportunity  to resolve that ICly anymore.
[08:46] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Has relapse shown you our proposal for rebuilding the faction so that it's reputation isn't crap anymore?

[08:50] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): No, but I'm not sure I like the idea of him being forced out by OOC pressure.  I'm still not really seeing him as having done anything awful, few bad moves but I have a lot of worse group leads atm.  I attribute much of it to the thing not having the oversight it was intended to have.

[08:54] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): My thing is, if you disregard the majority over your perception then that will likely cause most of the group to find other routes to take group wise.

[08:55] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): They don't have the authority IC though.  I mean if Palpatine and Vader saw that they'd probably end the lot of them.  It's notthe Sith it's the Empire.

[08:58] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Rual is the Chief Inquisitor, not Vader. He acts like Vader. Maiming students and Inquisitor's isn't an Imperial action, it's an action of a Sith. Besides, Rual tells me we operate on a mix of cannon and legends, whereas Darius tells me it's Legends. Though we're all using the Cannon brother/sister names.
[08:58] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): but they see people defying the chainof command, that's just as much as a red flag.  I don't know what that's about it's something that should be discouraged most likely but can'texpect people to be perfect
[09:00] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): The Empire was cut throat as well in a lot of the lore.
[09:01] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): If that's how the Empire would see it I'm fairly certain those in the Coup wouldn't mind dying as most of them have already been put near death ICly from beatings anyway.
[09:01] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): We've already had IC meetings regarding the coup. The next event, towards the end our characters are going to attack the Chief.
[09:02] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): But if he's stepping down like he said he was then I don't know if we'd be able to pursue that route either.
[09:04] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Even if we had to have an IC trial afterwards we'd be fine with that. We have evidence supporting the Chief's IC negligence.
[09:06] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): I don't know, lot of it sounds like stretches to me.  What he does is up to him I'd rather find another way to try to improve things as this is exactly the reason I was hesitant tolet some of those people in.
[09:07] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): The thing is the rest of the sim shares our opinions.
[09:07] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): If you don't think there's a problem with Rual, then why do you suppose everyone else has one?
[09:09] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): You're not a part of the faction on an IC level, nor at an OOC leve because that's not your responsibility but.. I would hope the cries of the many would outweigh the voice of one or two. It's not even just the members of the coup. The BHG has issues with him, Deadhouse and MMC have issues, Rebels have issues, Jedi have issues.

[09:11] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): They aren't allowing the sim's factions to work together on a communicative level to ensure that conflict between factions ICly isn't abused. The sim is tired of the Inquisitor's destroying everything because they have one of the most powerful weapons on sim.
[09:11] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): Dorene dropped his faction lead over Rual and Darius.
[09:15] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): Dorene was having some issues before that and had been thinkingof giving it up several times.

[09:16] Blue Swolo (kings2glaciers): I guess my question to you is, do you want us (majority of the group) to handle this OOCly by finding other routes or handling it ICly as we intended?

[09:27] Eva Syphex (eva.lekach): Would prefer finding another way to resolve it.  I don't feel like it would go well for any party IC with some of the bad blood, I don't want it to feel stagnate for people though, I mean people can advance, they can do their own stories, etc?
