He is a powerful Yeleni with stub-finned limbs and teeth like a rack of pale knives. Standing
perhaps six feet in height, his broad-shouldered, heavily scarred form is mottled with splotches of
amber and golden-brown, broken periodically by curls of inky black. Lurid blue-green light emanates
from cyst-like bumps and ridges scattered across his form. Slitted, luminous golden eyes with
misshapen pupils, long, pointed ears and a stub nose lend him a feline air; the clusters of whisker-
like growths that protrude from each cheek only enhance it. A fringe of curling, suckered appendages
dangle beneath his lower jaw, reminiscent of a beard, and three or four of them have been roughly
severed at their bases, leaving behind stumps of pale scar tissue. Ridges of bone and cartilage
trace his jawline and curl along his calves and lower arms, protruding here and there into wicked
spikes, and a short crest of similar nature sweeps back from his brow, shielding behind it the crop
of shifting, shoulder-length black tendrils that serves the Yeleni as hair. Ragged and patchy, a
pair of broad, inky black wings protrude from his upper back, reminiscent of those of a crow or
raven, albeit fifty times the size. His webbed fingers and toes are devoid of nails, instead
narrowing into short, glossy spikes of black chitin. He is wearing:

While this roughly heart-shaped wooden mask looks to have once been a colourful and gaudy thing,
time and violence have reduced it to a grim and bloodstained state. Cracked, flaking paint marks
bands of deep purple and crimson across the hardwood surface, darkened here and there by smears and
patches of old blood. The mask's single surviving eye is huge, blind and staring, while the other is
bisected by a vicious, splintered wound, likely caused by some manner of axe. The sad, bedraggled
plumage of some jungle bird sags from the sides of the mask, interspersed with the glossy black of
freshly plucked raven's feathers. The interior of the mask is lined with nondescript brown cloth and
a pair of coarse straps secure it firmly to the wearer's head.

p cloak
Sewn from several layered pieces of ragged, coarse cloth, the body of this cloak is as sturdy as it
is unremarkable. It hangs to the ankles of the average wearer and bears a simple but voluminous hood,
 as well as a number of deep pockets sewn into the lining. The exterior, however, is anything but
plain; every square inch is decorated with what appear to be hunter's trophies. Tufts of bright
jungle feathers, rattling strings of vertebrae and spiny clusters of fingerbones, among other things,
 are strung across the cloak's back, suspended on bits of coarse yarn or dried sinew. Here and there,
 fragments of bright metal glint; cracked blades, scavenged bits of armour and several nails are
immediately visible. The overall effect is one of shifting, clattering movement as the various
prizes respond to the wearer's motions.

p staff
Heavily painted and decorated, this crude, weathered staff is six feet of water-stained oak, carved
all across its surface with an intricate pattern of twining serpents and thorny roses. Jagged,
ominous glyphs painted in scarlet and verdant green march in a wavering line along the spine of the
weapon, and an entire crowned stag's skull is impaled on the spiked head of the staff, hollow
eyesockets encircled with twining, intricate bands of green pigment. A tangled rat's nest of bird
skulls, each one daubed with paint of a similar colour, dangle from the head of the quarterstaff,
secured on strings of catgut and jungle creeper; dozens of glossy black feathers adorn them, jutting
from eye sockets and neck holes in loose tufts.
