- In May 2023, our lab participated in National Technology Day on 11th May. This year, our school conducted a seminar on the theme 'School to Startups-Igniting Young Minds to Innovate.' where multiple schools across the country (regardless of them having their own Atal Tinkering Labs or not) joined in and discussed about startups, innovation education and the future of technology in general. The Prime Minister also joined the seminar and gave his enlightening views. Various students of different classes from our school attended the seminar quite enthusiastically. Our school also participated in the INSPIRE Award. We advanced through the competition quickly and soon were eligible for the state level event held at Ranchi in the month of May. Though our lab wasn't able to win the event, we learnt quite a lort from this and will be sure to put our newfound knowledge to use in future competitions. We also had some new and exciting advancements in 3D printing. One of our lab members modeled a 3D render of the lord Ganesh; which we then used to teach our students about 3D models and 3D printing. The reception was very positive, and we have a large number of students expressing their interest in the topic. Additionally, we asked students to create their own versions of earthquake resistant buildings using dry straws. We obtained a lot of good ideas, everyone's model was something different, and once again, the reception was very positive. We held two more lab activities in the month of May. The first one was that a presentation involving the explanation of how broadband devices work. And the last activity for the month, but not the least was that creating electrical LED circuits. All students participated enthusiastically in the activity. And by the end we had some truly stunning models to show off. Overall, the month of May has seen a lot of growth. We hope that in the future our lab will continue to grow and contribute significantly to the field of technology.
