- Weapon 1: Nex (required), Coldstone/Purified Salt, Creed's Cunning
- Weapon 2: Ortus (required), Enchanted Flint, Creed's Cunning
- Belt: Tinker's Ingenuity (highly recommended, craftable), component/augment as needed
- Ring 1: Ruby of Elemental Balance (highly recommended, craftable), Corpse Dust, Conjurer's Powder (this only needs honored with Rovers, which is kind of nice)
- Ring 2: Sapphire of Elemental Balance (highly recommended, craftable), Corpse Dust, Conjurer's Powder
- Amulet: Thread of Mortality or Empowered Warp Shard (highly recommended, explanation below), Arcane Lens, Conjurer's Powder
- Relic: Blademaster's Talisman or Ulzuin's Pyroclasm, though I'd recommend Blademaster's
- Shoulders: Ideally you want a Zantarin's Shoulderguard with nice stats but most anything will do
- Helm: Not sure, I'm using a Shadowspark Hood or an Elite Legion Headguard depending on what I'm running
- Other armor slots: No recommendations yet, still working on those
- Gameplay advice
- ===============
- The gameplay is actually really simple. Turn on your buffs/auras, go out and look for a group of dudes, Shadow Strike into said group of dudes, then use Fire Strike and Blade Burst on said group of dudes until death occurs. Chuck Flashbangs if you get into trouble and make sure you keep Pneumatic Burst up.
- A lot of your damage/OA comes from Lethal Assault, so when you're fighting enemies with Fire Strike be sure to use Blade Burst every 4 seconds. If you've ever played Diablo 3 and have used Focus/Restraint, this build feels a lot like that.
- Despite the fact that this build tends to have low-ish health, you're actually pretty tanky because you have a TON of re-healing/health conversion. Again, if you've ever played Diablo 3 and used a generator monk that stacks LoH, it feels a lot like that. That's also why the Thread of Mortality or Warp Shard is so useful - you wouldn't think that 6% conversion makes a lot of difference but there's an absolutely night and day difference in survivability with it. If you don't have a health conversion amulet you could probably also finagle your devotions around to pick up Revenant, but that'd probably mean getting rid of Behemoth so your health is going to suffer. (Also it seems that 1.0.0.7 buffed this build's health significantly - my character went from 10250 to 11450 - so that helps quite a bit as well.)
- Overall this build doesn't have the DPS that a lot of dedicated single-element builds have, and I'm not going to lie and say this is the best Saboteur build out there, but it's very well-rounded and what it lacks in sheet damage it makes up for in procs (they're EVERYWHERE with this build) and re-healing. Plus it's a fun gimmick.
- Aside from that, there's not really much to it. Enjoy your particle barf, your CPU certainly won't. :D
