Gorgi Autumn Event

Alex was sitting in his bed, pillow over his head. He snored softly, a ton of bees over his body to make a comfy, warm, makeshift blanket while his real one washed. A paper envelope flew into his open window, which he forgot to close. It flew across the room, and slid perfectly under his pillow, booping him on the nose! This immediately woke Alex up. He yawned, rubbing sleep from his eyes. "I'm getting up, thanks for keeping me warm everybody!" He warned the bees, and they all flew off of him, forming a smiley face as they formed a massive clump that would terrifying anyone. Anyone except Alex that is! He looks the note over. It just had his address, and a blue wax seal that had a uppercase "G" on it, though it has shards of hard candy on it. He opened it, and read it aloud. "Hello! I have been conducting a survey all across Benbrooke, and I am wondering..what are YOU thankful for? Once you answer, put your letter in this envelope and resend for a chance to get a sweet surprise!" Alex tilts his head. "Oooh? I honestly do not care for a prize, but it is good to know what i am grateful for..hm." he gets a paper and a pencil, and sits down, tapping his footpaw...
     Alex stares up at the ceiling, arms crossed. "Hmmm...what all am I thankful for? I have plenty." He looks at his bee cloud, and smiles. "Well I have you guys..that is a big thing." He writes "BEES" down in big letters, adding a trumpet next to it. Feeling his jaw twitch, he grabbed a soft, pastel marshmallow shaped chew toy. He snaps his claws. "Ah! I am also thankful for Mr. Squigy!" He writes "Mr. Squigy" down, with a sketch of what it looked like. Putting the toy in his mouth and chewing it to calm any nerves, he gets up, walking around the house, jotting down everything he is grateful for. "My TV..my couch..a full fridge...heating/AC..my teas..ah! That reminds me!" He gathers up 2 large bottles of his homemade honey, placing them in a baggie. Going outside of his comfy house, he strolls across the forest, continuing to write down all the different things he was thankful for, from the flowers that feed his friendly bees, to the trail that he often walks along to clear his head. He knocks on the door of his friend's house...
     He was greeted by a friendly face. Autumn Winds beamed, hugging him. "Well hello Alex! How have you been?" Alex grins warmly, wagging his tail. "I have been fine! How are Hazelnut and Basil?" Autumn whistled, and the two bouncing balls of fluff nuzzled his legs. She giggles. "They have been awesome, as always!" Alex gave the two plenty of cuddles and hugs, and gave Autumn the bag of honey he was carrying. "I came here to bring you this! I wanted to give you some honey cause I know you would be wanting a lot of tea in the upcoming cold months." Autumn graciously took the honey, eyes twinkling. "Oooh this smells so good, thank you! I actually wanted to gift you a little something myself!" She hurried back, and brought out some steaming apple cider in jugs! Alex gaped and immediately popped the lid off one, having a sip. "Ooooh this is so good! Apple cider is my favorite, thank you!" He quickly wrote down Autumn and apple cider in his note. Autumn tilts her head. "What is that?" Alex nods thoughtfully. "Oh, my Thankfulness list! I just put you and apple cider on it...oh, and Basil and Hazelnut! I think I am almost done, see you later!" He runs off, waving behind him as Autumn waves back, touched she is on his list...
     Alex goes back home, and looks over his letter. He chuckles. "Oh wow..I got 49 things I am grateful for! Let me just add one more, that uneven number messes with me.." he wrote "My life" surrounded by hearts and rainbows. He smiles. "Now that looks perfect." Placing the letter inside the envelope and licking it shut, he tossed it back outside his window to find the one who sent it in the first place. With that accomplished, he turned on the TV, and opened up a warm bottle of apple cider...
