THERE ISNT EVEN ANYTHING IN MY CAR

Alexithymiaa: -Brad was seated at the editing board, his hands spread across the sliders as he made adjustments on the fly while the artist in the booth sang into the microphone. He had headphones looped up over his ears so hhe could listen to clean audio, paying attention to what he was doing.-
Covet: Kelsey had been sitting on the couch working on some lyrics and just kind of casually hanging out, while Brad was working. She had a long weekend of rehersals and getting costumes organized for her tour outfits. She wanted things that could be interchangeable over a single outfit. She reached into the bag of sugar free gummy bears she'd had sitting next to her and tossed a red one in his general direction.
Alexithymiaa: -Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the red gummy bear land on the switchboard, not so stealthy reaching over to snatch it, shhoving it into his mouth and moving his hands back to the sliders. "That was great Becca, why don't you take five?" He told her, watching the brunette take a seat in the booth and get some water.-
Covet: Kelsey watched him grab the gummy bear and eat it, announcing a break for the girl he was working with. She popped a couple of the gummy bears into her mouth as well.
Alexithymiaa: -He pulled the headphones off his head to set down, spinning around in his chair to face Kelsey as he tipped his head back, opening his mouth wide and wiggling his fingers to urge her on to throw more ggummies.-
Covet: She watched him and sighed, shaking her head with a laugh, but happy to oblige as she grabbed a couple more gummy bears and tossed them his direction, only hoping she was getting anywhere near his mouth.
Alexithymiaa: -Since Kelsey's aim wasnt the best, he pushed off with his feet to guide the rolling chair over to catch the gummies as they flew, catching both of them in his mouth before he tipped his head forward to chew them, giving her a cheeky smile. "We need to work on that."-
Covet: Kelsey rolled her eyes, "Why you seem to have it down pat, maybe I was trying to make it a challenge for you." She told him sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "I meant your aim, not my ability to catch." He corrected her, trying to hide his smile because he was amused with his own joke there.-
Covet: "Sorry not used to aiming, That's not my job." She told him sticking her tongue out at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, it might be. You never know." He said with a shrug, turning back around to look at the singer in the booth just to check on her.-
Covet: "Umm... I can only think of one thing that would be useful for, and I'm not sure you'd be down for that." She said to him trying to be vague, because she didn't want to mentally scar co-workers or anything.
Alexithymiaa: "I wasnt talking about just with me, but okay." He said with a roll of his eyes, leaning back a bit in his chair. "What about... others?"-
Covet: "Like... female others?" She asked him, "I'm not opposed to it.. but if we're going to start venturing down the toy isle... we're going to need to get a place to store all of that."
Alexithymiaa: "Like a trunk?" He asked matter of factly, unsure what she really meant by that. "We can get a trunk. With a lock."-
Covet: "I was thinking something more... Classy? Maybe.. If such a thing exists, but one of those traveling trunks would be really cool, and unique, especially if we found one that we could flip and make it look even nicer?"
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know if I can figure out a classy type of situation to store a bunch of toys in..." He started, scratching at the back of his head. "We can definitely make a trunk look cool though. Line it with velvet or something?"-
Covet: "The steamer trunk is totally classy, especially if we do the velvet lining, in red or black." Kelsey said getting excited over a new "toy" box.
Alexithymiaa: "That's essentially what I had in mind anyway, I think we're just on two different terminology trains here." He started to laugh. "They're not as easy to find nice ones anymore. I went looking for one a few years ago for storage reasons and a lot of them now are like plastic with a coating on the outside to make it like faux wood or something cheap looking."- (True story. Took me forever to find my wood one for not $300)
Covet: "So what if we found one, not in the best shape, like an antique or something, and take the fastenings and such off of it, and then replace the wood with something new, clean up the fittings, and put it all back together." She said clearly getting excited about a DIY project.

Alexithymiaa: (Estate sale! $40! and it's cedar so all my blankets smell nice)
Alexithymiaa: "We can do that. I don't know what the hell you just said, but we can definitely do it." He said with a shrug, assuming they could just Youtube some how to tutorial on it, like anything else.-
Covet: [ooooh nice!]
Covet: "I had some downtime between costume stuff and rehersal so I was watching Flea Market Flip. It's oddly addicting." Kelsey said tossing another gummy bear at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Why am I not surprised?" He asked with a laugh, leaning over to catch the gummy bear in his mouth. "Well I'll help you, but I don't really know anything about that stuff."-
Covet: "It's okay, we can figure it out, How hard could it be? Maybe Evan can even give us some pointers, another set of eyes [Yees] couldn't hurt." She said to him.
Alexithymiaa: (GTFO) "I doubt he'd be opposed to helping. He seems to like to stay busy and that's a pretty active activity so..." He trailed off, turning when he heard Becca knocking on the window. "Oh sorry, yeah, we can run again." He said to her, picking up the headphones to loop around his neck.-
Covet: [XD]
Covet: "Yeah getr back to work slacker." She said to Brad, then snickered as she looked down at her notebook.
Covet: *get
Alexithymiaa: "You're the one distracting me with your toy box." He shot back at her, hitting the record button and waving his finger around to signal her to start again.-
Covet: "That's what he said...." Kelsey said with another snicker. "Now just think about all the fun toys we can fill it with..."
Alexithymiaa: "Ahhh la la la la." He said as he tried to block her out, attempting to focus on what he was listening to, but he was struggling.-
Covet: "All sorts of things with straps, and restraints, blindfolds... and the toys themselves... all sorts of things that vibrate, and move...." She said enjoying taunting him
Alexithymiaa: -He pushed his hands over the headphones around his ears, focusing as hard as he could on the music before just sort of giving up. "Hey Becca why don't we call it for the night? We can revisit this tomorrow afternoon." He told her, pulling the headphones down off his head.-
Covet: Kelsey felt a little bad that he quit early on the girl at the same time, she was also amused by the idea as well.
Alexithymiaa: -He waved the girl out of the booth, watching anxiously as she collected her things to take her leave. Once she was out of the room, he spun his chair to face Kelsey, crossing his arms over his chest. "Are you satisfied?"-
Covet: Kelsey gave a slight pout, "Not entirely." She said giving him a sheepish grin as well.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhuh... SO now that she's gone, why don't we pack up our shit and get back home to further discuss our new toy box?" He asked as he stood up, grabbing his backpack to swing onto his back.-
Covet: "Awwh, I mean I guess if we have to leave to do that... I suppose we can go about getting things ready to leave." She said getting up, being a bit of a brat.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey, I only make my mistakes once before I learn from them. I'm not getting caught on any security footage again." He told her with a more serious tone, beginning to head in the direction of the exit. "Besides, what's the difference if we continue this at home?"-
Covet: "True... It's just kind of fun.. and risky doing it here, but you're right I don't want to get caught again. Once was bad enough." She said with a laugh, gathering her things so she could get up and head out with him.
Alexithymiaa: "We can sit in the car if it makes you feel adventurous." He said to her, pushing the door open and seeing his car parked in the lot ahead of him, shattered glass on the ground and the passenger window broken into. "Aw come on, really?!"-
Covet: "Oooh, that will work." She said as she went out with him, then looked at the window, in shock, "Oh my god! Did that really happen!?"
Alexithymiaa: -He started over to the car, kicking at the shards of glass on the ground and leaning in through the window to look around, knowing he really didnt keep anything of value in the car. "What were they even looking for? There's nothing missing." He said as he started to pull his phone from his pocket to call the police.-
Covet: "Probably didn't realize there wasn't anything worth taking until after they broke the window. The studio has cameras outside though, so maybe one of them caught it." She said to him peering inside the car.
Alexithymiaa: -He told the police where they were and what happened, putting the phone back in his pocket so they could wait for an officer to arrive. "Hopefully they did. This is a bunch of bullshit."-
Covet: "I'm sorry, but we've got insurrance, so it's not like we'll have to pay for the damage or anything." She told him trying to find the silver lining.
Alexithymiaa: "That's not the point. I'm not concerned with how much it costs to replace the window, I'm concerned with the fact that I have to replace it to begin with." The sirens could be heard in the distance of the oncoming police. "And chances are theyre not going to do anything about this anyway. I'll have to go to Mr. Roth about the security footage."-
Covet: "Well make sure to call him tomorrow then. I'll remind you" Kelsey told him, then crossed her arms to wait for the cops to get there so they could give the report.
Alexithymiaa: "I seriously doubt I'm going to forget to call him about something like this." He grumbled, watching as the cops pulled in, waiting anxiously for them to come assess the situation.-
