Hello people from The Netherlands, SBS, and hello fellow internet lovers.
We are anonymous.

It has come to our attention that on sunday february 12th, the Dutch broadcasting channel SBS is going to air a show attacking the TOR network.
SBS will  air a show featuring a supposed representative of anonymous.
This individual speaks out against TOR, the network we all love.
We want to make clear that by attacking the TOR network you are in fact attacking Anonymous.
TOR IS Anonymous.

For those not familiar with the onion project: the TOR network is simply an easy to use, free and anonymous way to be online on the internet.

Citizens of the Netherlands: if you have not been watching the news lately... the recent ACTA and SOPA laws are newly introduced censorship laws.
These allow law enforcement to expand the ability to control the internet and your personal rights and privacy online.
These laws are disguised as anti piracy laws.
They call it piracy, yet we call it freedom.

The internet has given us freedom, the freedom to gain the education and information we need and deserve.
Information not limited to corporate paid television, or maybe even worse, paid with our tax money, state television.
Now they want to take that freedom away by calling it piracy.
They would like to be allowed to censor anything they find 'piracy' worthy and any other content they do not like.
Anonymous can not allow this.
Anonymous will not see online privacy being restricted any further.
After ACTA and the SOPA, we can no longer stay silent.

To mister Stegeman: If you would know anything about Anonymous, and a big shot reporter like you should know, you would know that the anonymous collective is an idea.
Ideas can not have a spokesperson.
We are dissapointed that, a reporter like you, who reaches headlines in newspapers, did not research this.

Knowing this information and broadcasting these lies to the Dutch public is something we, anonymous, can not accept.
Therefor, we give you time to correct your mistake.
Properly inform the Dutch public and let them know that this so called spokesperson is either a complete idiot, a traitor or a fed.
Whatever you do, we can not allow you to spread lies about things that are usefull to the public.
We will not allow tv show makers to fill the minds of the people of our nation, with lies and propaganda.
Claiming the TOR network is filled with, or even owned by pehdophiles, is an assumption and a lie, to discredit the TOR network.
Although there might be criminals or even pehdophiles among the users of TOR, it is not designed for criminal activities.
We do not make cars illegal either, just because a pehdophile might abduct a child with it.
There are many reasons why TOR is so important.
TOR exists for the public, not for criminals.
TOR offers anonimity and privacy, things wich clearly are needed in  so many cases.
And by attacking the TOR network you are helping to take people's freedom away, the freedom to be anonymous.
Correct your mistakes or accept the consequences.

Now, to all our fellow anonymous internet lovers.

We ask all of you, to rise up against all parties trying to create a controlled internet.
Operations have started, and your help is needed. We ask you to join us, in this epic battle for freedom.
Show them that the internet belongs to the people, and that it has always been like this.
Do not let them take away your liberties, because we can guarantee you one thing, you will never get them back.

Hallo burgers van Nederland, SBS en hallo mede liefhebbers van het internet.
Het is tot onze aandacht gekomen dat op zondag 12 februari op de Nederlandse zender SBS een uitzending zal laten zien waarin men het TOR netwerk aanvalt.
SBS zal een uitzending tonen waarin zij zullen spreken met een zelfveklaard vertegenwoordiger van Anonymous.
Dit individu zal zich uitspreken tegen het TOR netwerk, waar wij zo van houden.
Wij willen duidelijk maken dat door een aanval te plaatsen op het TOR netwerk, je feitelijk een aanval plaatst op Anonymus.
TOR IS Anonymous.

Voor hen die onbekend zijn met 'The Onion Project: het TOR netwerk is simpel gezegd een makkelijk te gebruiken, gratis en anonieme manier om online te zijn op het internet.

Burgers van Nederland:mocht u het nieuws niet gevolgd hebben de laatste tijd... De recentelijke ACTA en SOPA wetsvoorstellen zijn nieuw geintrduceerde censuur wetten.
Deze staan overheden toe het internet, en je persoonlijke rechten en privacy nog verder te controleren.
De wetten zijn vermomd als anti piraterij wetten.
ZIj noemen het piraterij, maar wij noemen het vrijheid.

Het internet heeft ons vrijheid gegeven. De vrijheid om de educatie en informatie te vergaren die wij nodig hebben en die we verdienen.
Informatie, die niet alleen komt van de door bedrijven gesponsorde televisie. Of nog erger, de met belasting betaalde staatstelevisie.
Nu willen ze ons deze vrijheid afnemen door het piraterij te noemen.
Het liefst zouden ze alles willlen censureren wat zij "piraterij waardig" vinden, en alle andere inhoud die ze niet zint.

Anonymous kan dit niet toestaan.
Anonymous zal niet toekijken hoe de online privacy nog meer beperkt wordt.
Na ACTA en de SOPA, kunnen we niet langer zwijgen.

Aan meneer Stegeman: Als u iets zou weten over Anonymous, zoals voor een bekend journalist als uzelf zou moeten gelden, dan zou u weten dat het Anonymous collectief een idee is.
Ideeen kunnen geen vertegenwoordiger hebben.
We zijn teleurgesteld dat een journalist als u, die voorpagina's haalt in kranten, hier geen research naar gedaan heeft.

Op de hoogte zijn van deze informatie, en dan nog deze leugens aan het Nederlandse publiek verkondigen, is iets wat wij, Anonymous, niet kunnen accepteren.
Zodoende geven wij u de tijd om uw fout te herstellen.
Stel het Nederlandse publiek op de juiste manier op de hoogte, en laat ze weten dat deze zogenaamde vertegenwoordiger van Anonymous ofwel een complete idioot is, een verrader is, of iemand die voor justitie werkt.
Wat u ook doet, wij kunnen u niet toestaan leugens te verspreiden over dingen die nuttig zijn voor het publiek.
We zullen niet toestaan dat producenten van tv shows de hoofden van de burgers in ons land vullen met leugens en propaganda.
Verkondigen dat het TOR netwerk gevuld is met, of zelfs in handen is van pedofielen, is een aanname en een leugen om het TOR netwerk in diskrediet te brengen.
Ook al zullen er misschien criminelen of zelfs pedofielen tussen de TOR gebruikers zitten, het is niet ontworpen voor criminele activiteiten.
We maken ook geen auto's illegaal, alleen omdat een pedofiel er een kind in mee zou kunnen nemen.
Er zijn vele redenen waarom TOR zo belangrijk is.
TOR bestaat voor het publiek, niet voor criminelen.
TOR biedt anonimiteit en privacy, zaken die duidelijk nodig zijn in vele gevallen.
Door het TOR netwerk aan te vallen helpt u om de vrijheden van de mensen af te nemen, de vrijheid om anoniem te zijn.
Corrigeer uw fouten of accepteer de consequenties.

Nu, aan al onze mede anonieme internet liefhebbers.

Wij vragen jullie allemaal, om op te staan tegen alle partijen die proberen een gecontroleerd internet te creeeren.
Operaties zijn van start gegaan, en jouw hulp is nodig. Wij vragen je met ons mee te doen, in dit epische gevecht voor vrijheid.
Laat hen zien dat het internet van de mensen is, en dat het altijd zo geweest is.
Laat ze niet je vrijheden afnemen, want wij verzekeren je een ding, je zal ze nooit terug krijgen.
