Problems in the LADX Community

I learned LA Warpless for the tournament in 2019. I did a few runs and decided I wasn't enjoying it. The grind for sub 50 was frustrating and I expressed my distaste in the category. Spiraster told me to quit the game. But I still wanted to play in the tournament to go as far as I could.

In March 2020, I did a run for Rolling Deep Marathon with PhantomMat and Astronumous on commentary. The run didn't go as well as I want but in the background, Astronumous was criticizing my run, questioning my strats, and was overall taking over the run when this was MY run that I'M representing. They had no reason to do any of that as they watched my runs several times on my own streams. So they were well aware of what tricks and strats I do. Spiraster was there in chat joining on the hate train of that run.

The first 10-20 minutes of my stream is usually me practicing with music on. Astronumous happen to come in while I was practicing and told me to turn my music off because I would get DMCA'd by Twitch when none of the songs I play do not fall under DMCA. They also criticized my stream title, stream layout, my splits and my overall gameplay. None of that sat well with me.

In preparation for the tournament in 2020, I participated in some practices races that some people were doing in preperation. Xander, Glyph and Astronumous all shitted on me for being the only person not going for Early Rooster Skip. They all told me the trick is free, saves time, and is the new standard. I expressed numerous times my distaste for the trick because of the huge drawback it has. They all disregarded my opinion and continued shitting on me. They also shitted on some of the strats that I go for, saying that my gameplay is "too old", when in reality I play consistently and don't go for crazy stuff.

Astronumous listed out long term goals that they wanted to achieve. 49 in No WW/OoB, 51 in No S+Q, and 1:19 in 100%. Xander shitted on their goals and said they will never achieve them. Xander deservedly got shitted on by Astronumous for his take.

Some people were talking about the Glitchless rules on what tricks are/are not allowed. The list is huge but some of the tricks on the banned list, I did not agree with and would not run the category until they are allowed. These tricks are tricks using wall clips (except super jumping obviously), Shopkeeper quick buy with SQ menu, and the most egregious one, killing only one of two minibosses. When I expressed my disagreement, Spiraster told me that my favorite thing to do is being a liar and a downer.

Every once in a while, I used to talk in the off-topic channel about things I like, such as anime. Some of my favorite characters in anime happen to be female characters that are very young. This is all that there is and nothing more than that. Some people took this interest of mine to a different level and Spiraster called me gross and Astronumous called me a "PDF file". SpiceFather was joining on this train. He's the head of the community and to me, that's not how someone should represent the community. I privately called his behavior out in DMs and he apologized for it.

The community took a dark course in 2021 after public opinion was against Astronumous and to this day from that point, I'm treated like a nobody. Any time I ask a question, I'm treated like a new runner. I suggested that time should end on the frame the transition starts, instead of fully white. Glyph then gave out a history lesson of someone dying on the stairs when I've been around the community long enough to know this history and that has nothing to do with my suggestion. I also asked about a more consistent way of doing Dethyl skip. Sagaz told me to just use Boomerang...but I already do that? So which is it?

I also get no recognition any time I post about a PB or if I'm about to run for an event. Any time somebody like Seysey, Glyph, Noad post a time, a wave of GGs come in for them instead. Even when I reach milestone goals that are top level or even my LA 100% WR, I got no recogniztion. Glyph advertised his run for PACE and a wave of congrats and GLs came in for him. I am also not the only person to get ignored. Rhythmmical and Ryan Ford also get no recognition when they post about their times or events. Sometimes I go out of my way to give them a GG or GL when they post just so they can be seen by somebody.

It does not take much for anyone to be decent human beings and respect other people. I have cut contact from Astronumous, Spiraster and Xander as I am not in good terms with them and have no plans to forgive them for the damages they've done to me in the community.
