Terentius backstory DRAFT

Last child born of the Rûn family, a clan of Centaurs famous for their talentuous druids and their collaboration to the Grove where they're from.
However, Terentius was not born attuned to nature. Not the way the rest of his family was. His siblings were very accepting of this fact. He might not be able to follow the druid path, as the rest of his family did. But he would make his own.
Terentius was born with the ability to summon the power of the Rûn's ancestors. As a child, his powers were not easy to use. He could only do it unconsciously, when his emotions would take over. Most likely pain, fear and anger that would lead to blind rage.
That, his family was not accepting as he got in trouble often by either injuring others or destroying parts of his home.
He left as soon as he could, not feeling like he belonged here anymore.

I was thinking he'd either join some military organization, where his rage and strength would serve well, or be some sort of hermit, living in the woods.
Anyways it's not that important.
As he aged, he began to understand that his emotions were an interference and only with a calm mind could he truly feel connected to the spirits of his Ancestors.
He'll eventually turn to his faith in Eldath, which his family worshipped. As she is the goddess of peace, his faith in her helped him find his own inner peace.
He became the graveyard caretaker of a Church sharing his faith. Closer than ever to his ancestors, he felt like he belonged here, taking care of those who passes away.
Not that fond of social interactions, he was always the one people would leave behind. As in not included.
Then he met Monnca. This annoying goblin was never that far, babbling on and on about everything. He eventually developed a liking to him. They would form a duo and venture out together very often.

I have not discussed the details with Jay of what our characters did together before getting sucked in a portal.
But they ended up in Marhe because Terentius dug a hole for a grave, and there the portal spawned, pulling both him and Monnca in this new world.
