PERSONALITY » minju is an incredibly outgoing and extroverted person (meaning she feels recharged when hanging out with someone). with physical characteristics practically /made/ for cuteness, she often uses it to her advantage and using it to get what she wants. she is playful, and often teases the other members (and vice versa). she's very confident, and often the other girls in the group will poke fun at her and her confidence (all playful and with no hard feelings),like her brother, minju is very affectionate with just about anybody, and tends to be straightforward when she wants something or shares her opinion. if said no to, she relies on doing relentless aegyo + skinship (which usually works) to get the person to do what she wants. incredibly stubborn, minju is quite the perfectionist, and usually feels incredibly frustrated when things don't go her way. but she is loyal, always getting over any anger quickly (and if she gets what she wants after, she'll forget all about it). along with all of that, she is a hopeless romantic, and loves romantic gestures no matter how big or small they are. she lives for the fluttery feeling that is described in books when something cute happens.

BACKGROUND » she went to study in new york as an exchange student for three years (14-early 17), which is how she learned to speak english fluently, where she also began a little youtube channel dedicated to covering dances and rap covers, with the occasional singing cover. the youtube account is currently inactive, but when it was it had more than 100,000 suscribers. she covered korean songs/raps as well as english ones. a few months after she returned from america, minju was contacted by jyp entertainment and was recruited for the company. after seeing her music covers, along with the vlogs that showed her personality, they were sure that she'd be a good fit. after five years of training, she was debuted in twice (you could replace someone with her, if you'd like). she is extremely close with her whole family, especially her brother. in her relationship with her younger brother, they both inspired each other to pursue musical careers, and pushed each other to be the best that they can be. even now, the two are as close as ever. while she was training, minju attended seoul's school of performing arts along with her brother's groupmate, and was liked by many. though she did have some people who were against her because they thought she was "annoying" (which she didn't really pay attention to, as her brother advised). but, after her brother debuted in his group, the people who talked about her behind her back suddenly began to "like" her. let's just say those girls won't be getting any attention from her brother any time soon.

  ∘ a challenge where they're paired up and have to navigate their way through a maze. he and minju are paired together for this, and they're both extremely excited to be paired with each other because they're confident that they'll be able to get through first. though she was quite nervous as to what they're going to have to do to get through the maze, he assured her that it would be all fine, and held her hand all the way through (even though she basically dragged him around as well). there were challenges in the maze that they had to go through (physical or just idol stuff or questions) and they mostly got through without a scratch, though they did have some difficulty with minju wanting to take the lead, but it all worked out alright in the end.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER » he's very straightforward and seems like he doesn't have any shame. it's hilarious (most of the time). touchy and incredibly affectionate, it is often mistaken for him being flirty (which might be true.. just saying). he likes to ask her who she looks at (her answer is always 'only you!'), and almost always initiates the skinship that they show on stupid cupid. jaehyun/jackson acts incredibly goofy because of how confident he is around her, and knows that she'll go along with it. there's not much that he isn't up for, and usually just lets her do whatever she wants and drag him around (though sometimes he puts up a fight just to play around).

HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM » minju is her usual, adorable self. she has a habit of being straightforward with him as well, and often times she's a lot more open than he is about wanting things (which makes him blush at least 80% of the time). also a person who is quite ' touchy ', fans/viewers comment that she seems to be too affectionate towards him, borderline /scandalous/, to be exact. minju also tends to take the lead when it comes to something other than skinship, often leading when they are on missions or dates. though she is quite loud, surprising most of the other roommates whenever she bursts into a beauty and the beast song that he sings along to.

HIS PERSONALITY » he's a lively character, and the member his group usually goes to if they need someone to talk to. charismatic and social, the aura/mood of the room lightens up whenever he is in it, no matter what the situation is. he just wants to make everyone happy. despite the careless and tough image he usually shows, he is actually incredibly intuitive and thoughtful, knowing when to be serious and if someone needs comfort. his way of comfort is very physical, and it usually includes (back)hugs and cuddling. he's an emotional and passionate person as well, and tends to feel things deeply (even though he tries to hide it). since he grew up in a foreign country, he's not too accustomed with the "traditional" way of romance that korea has.

FUTURE INTERACTIONS » their relationship starts off like fire. it's just a spark, at first; these two click together the moment they're paired up, and are an extremely entertaining couple to watch. they have a lot of things in common, especially in the personality department. they're the ' nontraditional ' kind of couple-- the duo where there's skinship galore and straightforwardness is their " thing ". though, they do tend to butt heads sometimes, with minju's stubborness usually getting in the way. those fights are usually quick, like wildfires that are doused seconds after it starts. as the show goes on, they find that there's a lot more that they can bond over, and viewers of the show get a definite kick out of the skinship that they have, and the amount of time they spend around each other. it's like.. they're the opposite ends of a magnet. they somehow find themselves around each other a lot, and always touching in s o m e way, whether it be from standing right next to each other or snuggling on a couch. despite minju dragging him around and being the one to be extremely straightforward at no matter the cost (as well as being the older half of the duo), he is usually the one that initiates most of the physical stuff.
