It’s a pity how I will be unable to watch anything from my favourite fansub groups. The last one to fail me was UTW’s Kamisama no Memochou – not because of UTW but because of the show itself. Fuckin terrible, i have to say. There are some good things about it, but let’s forget them quick since it sucks bad.
Really, every time the characters interacted it sent a shiver down my spine. Be it through a note, phone or speech it turned out painfully obviously made-up and lacked vividness. Dashing through the events only helped to mess up the tempo, but didn’t conceal this. The generic male lead is soooo generic, it (not ‘he’) managed ot stand out even among that underdeveloped cast. Everything else comes from these. The events were erratic and annoying, scenes meant to make the viewer have feelings for that sorry bunch failed miserably, and generally it hurt to watch. Like Soul Eater 10, Tsubaki vs. Masamune. That miserable struggle also failed to properly depict the struggle. Difference is that Soul Eater has only one bad episode, and this show sux altogether.
Thank you for your efforts, UTW, I really appreciate the high quality of your subs. I actually watch Soul Eater with unreadable subs full of mistakes so it really shows where the quality lies. If only the shows you sub were as good as Evangelion 1.11, an experience I won’t forget.

I agree with yummysoul, this is not a good show at all. The main character is just as bland as it could get. Alice was the only good thing about this show, but the rest was meh. So I have dropped this show for good, thanks for subbing it though.

Yeah, Im with yummysoul on this one. Thanks UTW for your work at least, but this show is simply terrible. I actually stopped at episode 1 because I did not like the format. That being: Alice keeps talking and we keep listening. Followed by moe or service being interjected at random points of the show. Also dialog is just bland. I can pull quotes where alice’s attempt at being witty and sarcastic fell way short, but I’d rather make a bigger deal out of this then I already have. In short; Thanks UTW for your service, but this anime is not my cup of tea.
