- think I get what you mean visually in my head "across" but I'm not sure if is parallel or in series. I'm guessing in series... jesus this is sad but when I recently did a PWM GPIO audio output "mod" thing (pretty much followed Adafruit's tutorial word for word" I didn't get how the low pass filter I guess they weren't ordered eg. flew from one side to another regarding the combination of the resistor(s)/capacitor/film capacitor.
- I have a 50K Potentiometer (big one) will try that, this is really cool seeing the data be updated
- The one I've got looks just like this, my little "Arduino intro kit" has it but doesn't say wattage rating.
- Oh but the specs say 0.2W... hmm this does say 20kOhms probably wrong one.
- Another one that is 50kOhms is 0.2W power rating...
- Yeah I guess I'm not getting the 1W part in your... oh wow 50 ohms not 50 k ohms hmm
- Lowest I have is 220 ohm... guess I could try some leds, nope
- Lowest resistor I have is 0.330 ohm on 2K DMM setting... from the parts list lloks like it's one of the 220ohm resistors. 330 ohms then I think.
- Try that in series would use the V = IR in this case to note drop in voltage? Would it be more stable with something to "fight against"?
- I heard something about solar panels needing a constant draw "they could break if exposed to the sun and power produced not being used" I don't know... really ignorant haha.
- Oh wait maybe I could just start cutting low gauge wire... nope low resistance in the single digits... hmm
- Well will plug the 330 ohm resistor in series I'm assuming in the order of Solar Cell V+ -> resistor -> ADC
- Sorry rambling worked an entire day sucked very tired
- Just a quick sample test with same yellow ambient light, in the low 300's high 200's (with 330Ohm resistor), hmm, not much of a change...hmm using a 10K one, I am seeing more double numbers in the real time half second sample
