❥ COOL HOT SWEET LOVE
PERSONALITY  | mirae is someone who can be known to wear some what of a mask. when at school or outside with her family she uses the side that she wants people to see because she doesn't want people to worry about her or get involved. while in a way, this really is her, she just tends to show it more than the side that she tries to keep hidden.

[ HAPPY ]
to everyone around her, mirae seems like a happy girl. whenever she goes to school, or out with her family she always has a bright smile on her face, one that can cure anyone's sadness and fool them. no matter what bad things happen from outside of her home, she always says "it's okay." and will keep her head held up high. if someone were to spill something on her, accidentally trip her or push her away she'll always say "it's okay." and look at the bright side of things. she just never seems to get mad. there needs to be at least one "happy" person in the family, right?

[ CARING ]
mirae also has a caring side which can be easily seen to anyone. though she mostly shows this side towards her family — her mom and younger brother — she doesn't shy away from showing it to others who are in need of some kidness. she's always the first to run towards someone with a helping hand if they were to fall, get bullied or needed help crossing the street. when it comes to her mother and younger brother she'll always put herself in front of them whenever her dad is ready to take a swing. and if they were to get hurt, she'll call them immediately to her room to take care of their wounds. she knows they're both dealing with stuff as well so she'll always take time to visit them privately to talk and listen to them fully.

in all honesty, no one really knows anything about her aside from what they see which is a happy girl with a family who's well off and treats her well. they never really realize that mirae is in fact closed off. she doesn't let anyone get too close to her and never opens up to anyone even if it were something as small as her fear of heights, which is why she doesn't really have any close friends. yeah at school she has certain people she talks too but not anyone who she can REALLY talk to or sit at lunch and walk home with. she doesn't like letting people know what's really going on with herself and would rather keep it to her self. whenever she does find someone getting too close to her she'll try to push them away.

[ ANTI-SOCIAL ]
at school no one really notices how quiet mirae actually is. maybe this is due to her smile but she never really talks unless they approaches her first — which they have to do first since she'll never voluntarily approach them — or when she is called on to answer a question. or maybe it's that when they do approach and talk to her she'll hide the fact that she is anti-social and talk fluently to them. aside from this, on the weekends instead of going out, she stays home all day, locked up in her room — unless she wants to leave because of her family — and will just stay on her phone or TRY to catch up on her studies.

[ STRESSED ]
this is the side that mirae hides from everyone else. like before she doesn't want to burden anyone or make them pity/worry for her so she hides her distress. because of her family problems she hasn't been doing well in school due to not getting enough sleep because of the built up stress. to both her father and mother she HAS to do well in school in order to become successful like them. she just simply can't sleep without thinking about everything. at her home her mood goes down drastically: she's quiet, doesn't eat much and gets irritated easily. her smile is no longer on her face. she goes straight up to her room and locks herself up there until she hears screaming and yelling which is when she'll have to run downstairs to protect her mother and brother, thus getting hit in the process. having to cover her bruises and cuts also causes a big amount of stress. everyone thinks that they're perfect, please don't let them look through the curtains.

BACKGROUND  | growing up, mirae's life could be seen perfect from the outside. her family was well off financially, they often helped the community, everyone seemed to like them and all, but inside was a different story. no one can really understand her family until they saw what happens inside. her younger brother is secretly stealing money from their parents to pay off the loan sharks that are on his back, her father is an alcoholic who would sometimes have outburst of anger which involved in him beating her, her mom and brother. whereas her mom was off having affairs behind her father's back and smoking. and what about mirae? she's stressed. she just wishes that one day her family would be perfect like everyone thinks they are.

❥ LIGHT ME UP

FIRST IMPRESSIONS  | during their phone call, his voice sounded like he didn't care at all and was sometimes rude with his comments and sounded like he wasn't even listening. this led her to believe that playdate was full of himself and a dick who shouldn't even be on a hotline for people who needed help. she thought he was the one who needed help with his attitude. when she finally did meet him in person she felt intimidated by his appearance and the way he stared at her. she still thought he was a dick because of his comments but after getting to know him better on the phone and hung out with him more, she realized he's not a bad person, he can have his sweet/cool moments and that she probably exaggerated how she thought of him. plus she thought he was hot.

HOW YOU ACT AROUND YOUR LOVE INTEREST  | at first when she felt like he was getting too close to her and she was opening up to him too much she began pushing him away. after accepting him, around playdate she feels like she can be herself. she isn't afraid of showing him her good side as well as her bad side. when showing her good side she'll always smile at him and make him laugh, trying her best to make him as happy as he makes her. she'll care for him just like how she cares for her younger brother and wouldn't mind doing what he likes and experience new things with him. around him she truly is the person she wants to be. when with him, she isn't afraid to hide how she really feels so she'll openly talk to him about everything and let him know how she feels and her worries.
