Internationally recognized activist Bamby Salcedo has not only brought voice and visibility to the transgender community, but she has also advocated for those affected by migration, HIV/AIDS, and incarceration. She is particularly interested in how these concerns intersect with one another and how they have an impact on young people, LGBT+ individuals, and Latin@/Latinx communities.
