(For ease of confidence, I'm going to forgo the curly brackets around dialogues. Just assume all talking is done in Minkaian, unless for some reason Misumi insists on talking in Common.)

Misumi needs not to wait for long. In fact, he has to wait for such a short time that a person more sardonic than him would even accuse the hostess of the house for specifically waiting for him.

Regardless, the human-sized door of the house opens, revealing Mondays putting an arm up to the doorframe and leaning on it. She's not wearing her hair in the usual bun Misumi is used to: instead, she let it down, the pinkish locks flowing down longer than one would have assumed based on her usual hairdo. Even more unexpected, she's not actually in human form, like almost always: no, her vulpine ears and tails are out and clearly visible.

But that's not what Misumi would notice first.

What Misumi would notice first is that apparently, Mondays is wearing nothing but a simple towel around herself. The towel is long enough to cover all the important bits, but just so - any shorter, and she would have to be locked up for public indecency. Hell, with the look she gives to Misumi, an Archwing would slap those manacles on her for public indecency right at the moment.

"Oh, hi, Misu," she says, twirling a lock of hair around a finger, sporting an unmondayslike smirk. "Terribly sorry for the getup, I'm just out of the shower. I didn't expect you to come so... *decisively* soon."

Well, her hair does seems to be somewhat wet. Although she arrived to the door awfully fast for someone who's supposedly fresh out of the shower...

"What *am* I doing?" she asks coyly. "Why, of course, I'm welcoming a messenger and a friend. We *are* friends, aren't we, Misu?" She leans down, as deep as she can, to be closer to the fox's eye level - giving a little a bit of a show to Misumi in the process. Mondays, being the lean sort of body type, does not have a lot of cleavage to offer, but she's working hard to offer whatever she has.

"And it's always a *pleasure* to see you. Aren't you just happy to see me?"

*Misumi looks to the side, and towards the side. One hand reached into the pouch at his hip, going deeper than the pouch would normally allow. And he pulled out a scroll case*

"We are friends, and I am happy to see you, and I'm not dumb. I can tell what you're doing"

*He offered the scroll case in her direction*

A person that is desperate enough to not only consider, but actually go through with whatever ridiculously uncharacteristic seduction attempt Mondays is doing right now would not be deterred with such ease, however.

"Oh, thanks, Misu. You're a sweetheart! Let me just..." Mondays pats herself down, but rather obviously, the towel lacks any sort of pockets or places to store money in. "Drat, I seem to have forgotten my purse in my bedroom!" She opens the door wiser and steps back to allow Misumi place to enter. "Come on in, then. I'm not going to let a friend stand outside in the cold while I'm looking for my purse!"

She purses her lips. This does not seem to be working. Misumi is way too straightforward and honest to enter into games like this. And you know what? Maybe it's better this way. Maybe that's why she likes him so much. Maybe she would actually like him less if he just took what he wanted and then went home to lie to Ash.

She sighs inwardly. And then outwardly as well. "I just thought... I mean, we have known each other since school. I thought you only saw me as a kid. So, I thought... if, if I showed you that I could be a *woman*..."

*He kept his eyes above her neckline this time*

Mondays can't really stand Misumi's gaze. She looks down, and starts fidgeting with her hair. It's not the affectedly coy and provocative hair-twirling she was displaying earler; it's the awkward reaction of a girl caught dressed in nothing but a towel with a guy who respects her but also has clear boundaries.

There's a little silence going on here before she finally speaks up, but does not look up. "What... what does she have that I don't?"

Well. *'Not likely'* is not impossible! Maybe, maybe one day Ashlyn just... goes away. Obviously, Mondays is not planning anything against Ashlyn. Ashlyn was kind to her when she and Misumi took her in, and it would be the pinnacle of ungratefulness if she actively tried to do anything. But... it is human(oid) nature to hope. Maybe Ashlyn will break up with Misumi one day. Or has to leave Sandpoint. Or, gods forbid, maybe she'll...

She shakes her head. "Right!" she says, a little bit less dejected now. "I'll get your money. I really don't have pockets in this thing," she says, turning around and running back to her bedroom, bushy tail swishing.

He doesn't have to wait for long for Mondays to fly into his arms and embrace him back passionately. A bunch of coins pour out from her purse and roll all over the floor as she throws her arms around Misu, but she could care less about that right now; all that matters is that Misu. Is a bit weird to hug with just a towel on, but it's not like-

"Uh, Misu? Is that another scroll case in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

Mondays smirks into his shoulder, but she doesn't mind it. Ever since she moved out, hugs with Misumi are at a premium. It's always her happiest when it happens.

She briefly considers that maybe she won't need to use the scroll at the end. Maybe there is hope for the future. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel... or is there?

That's probably not an easy task for someone with Misumi's religion... but perhaps it's not entirely out of the realm of possibilities.

Either way, like last time, Mondays will keep hugging Misumi until he indicates an end. He has a familiar scent.

Mondays doesn't like ending hugs, but she's a big girl, and she knows she can't spend the rest of her life in Misumi's arms, even if she is trying her best to achieve all that.

She sighs. "Well, thanks again, Misu. If you ever need me for..." She pauses, trying to think of a reason why he'd possibly need her. "...whatever it is I do, I'll be here. I'll always have time for you."

She snorts. "Got it. Lose the towel, then." She gives a mock-salute to him to indicate she was joking, then reaches to take the scroll case, assuming Misumi lets her (and why wouldn't he tbh). She looks around for a moment, but obviously the towel didn't magically grow pockets since the last time she checked, so she ends up awkwardly putting the scroll under her arm, as she still has the purse in her hand. She rolls her eyes and silently mouthes the word 'towel' towards him.
