  1. In his dreams, he was back at the beginning, where it all started.
  2.
  3. "Sagi Bellerose?" Carlisle had stood before him, his silver eyes glinting with a certain type of malice. Sagi didn't notice it the first time, but his smile was much too friendly. Much too eager.
  4.
  5. "Moonrose." Sagi said and stood, smiiling when the man went to grab his wrist. HHe shot his palm forward and struck him in the cleanly in the chest. Carlisle wheezed as the air rushed from his lungs and Sagi pressed his advantage, swinging his elbow upwards aznd striking him in the chin. He was surprised. Bazael had told him that he could use his dreams and memories to train him , but he hadn't expected it to actually, y'know, work. But it was apparent that it was and as his spun into another elbow strike, this time catching the man in the chin, and Sagi couldn't help but grin.
  6.
  7. Bazael had taught him the basics of the martial style he had once used. It utilized fluid motion to either to add momentum to strikes- primarily palm and elbow strikes- or to transition from one attack to the other in a matter of seconds. Though Sagi was still new to it he'd managed to pick it up fairly quickly and with a bit more practice he'd be able to hold his own. With this style and the weapon he would apparently be learning soon, Sagi felt like he would be unstoppable.
  8.
  9. He kicked Carlisle to the ground and clenched his fists. Immediately electricity began to crackle around his hand, covering it in deep red static. Next time, there would be no next time.
  10.
  11. The next time he laid eyes on Carlisle and Eden, he would end things with his own two hands.
  12.
  13. Suddenly the whole world began to shake and Sagi fell off balance, hitting the dirt with a groan.
  14.
  15. "..gi? Sagi?"
  16.
  17. He openeed his eyes and sat up with a start, immediately regretting it when the world started to viciously spin. His stomach curled and for a moment he thought he was going to throw up. His head pounded. As he rubbed the bleariness from his eyes he looked at Ben and yawned. "Yo." He mumbled. "What happened last night? I feel like I got hit by a Bee."

  21. Denus frowned at Mod and lamented the fact that her existence was one of the few that he couldn't wipe with a snap of his fingers. "I was asleep." Being awake was such a pain in the ass. There was absolutely no reason for him to be here. Eden's Creation was doing absolutely fine. In fact, it was probably working better than most of the previous iterations. There were no significant wars or disputes and though it wasn't perfect, life there seemed pretty alright. Sure there were a few tweaks that Eden could make but he was doing a good enough job.
  22.
  23. His thoughts were caught by the deck of cards that she'd summoned and he tilted his head and he paused.
  24.
  25. Oh.
  26.
  27. She knew him too well.
  28.
  29. The gambler inside of him stirred a little bit and he nodded once. He supposed he could play her games, just this once.
  30.
  31. Alas, he always forgot how games with her ended. "What are we betting."
