Can you use a brand name URL for a PBN?
So Iv'e found a great expired domain to use as a PBN. However, it has a foreign brand name. I'm in the UK and this company is in USA.
I realize you can't use these domains as a main site, but can you use them as your PBN?

you can use them as PBN and can redirect it to your main website. make sure those domains should have the same theme as your business. I mean if you selling SEO services so the expired domain should also be related digital marketing with any domain name, having content about digital marketing and SEO.

With all due respect OP - if you don't understand WHAT a PBN is or how it works, you really shouldn't even bring it up, much less consider messing with one... It won't end well for you if you know that little about them (they're very tricky)

With all due respect OP - if you don't understand WHAT a PBN is or how it works, you really shouldn't even bring it up, much less consider messing with one... It won't end well for you if you know that little about them (they're very tricky)

I understand what one is, but I don't know everything about them. As for not ending well, I have a few sites that make zero money and are over a year old, so how can it get worse than that? I need backlinks and I have seen many videos where PBN's can provide the backlinks needed. That's not too tricky is it?

OP all I meant by that is that PBN's are something you want to know INSIDE and OUT before you even touch them, becuase one VERY slight screw up and you can get all the domains connected to it (all of your network) permanently penalized/banned from Google... flushing all that work and money down the toilet and ruining those domains - literally forever... just sayin

I wasted 12 months believing building content was all you need (The Income School method) but after 80 articles my one site gets 58 visitors per month. I'm talking at least 1,000 words per article and ave 1,400 per article.
One of my articles is 4,000 words long yet gets no visits, yet the no1 ranked is a 500 word article from a trusted site!
So I just don't believe the "build and they will come" method anymore.
It may work for micro niche sites but I don't know.

Shocking! Still, articles are ranked without ZERO backlinks.
Before writing an article, you have to work on the topic, keywords, and competition.

So many Amazon affiliate marketers are getting success on this.

Sorry, I have tried all that. My site with the 80 articles, 40 of them were all KGR, studiously found using hours of detailed research.
Google gives me nothing, zilch, nada!
If your site already ranks, KGR is probably great, but for a site that Google hates (I presume it hates me)
I am watching a video about a chap who has a site all about weighted blankets, it's 18 months old and getting 8,000 hits per month and started getting traffic at 6 months.
My site is twice as big or more, with much more content, and gets hardly any..
I'm utterly convinced it's the backlinks.
Tried Pinterest, Instagram & Facebook.
Been there, wore the shirt etc, not going there again.

But after doing this course how much are you making?
I know people who throw up sites, point a PBN at them and are now on $60k per month.
If they get caught, they have earnt at least $180k and they just move on.
What's the point of playing nice and getting ignored or having to wait 2 years for Google to notice you, Maybe!
