Crossroads
Wrath Shard
Requirements – Abyssal Chain
Up on that broken bridge, look towards the north wall and you’ll see a grapple point. Grapple over and enter the small room to get this shard.

Scalding Gallow
Artifact: Soldier
Requirement – Chronomancer
On your way to the Ashlands for the first time to fight the Stygian, you’ll use the chronomancer to lift the gate and get under. Continue on this path, up the stairs at the end of the tunnel, and climb up the wall, jumping to the broken pipe. Before heading forward, turn around and the artifact is right in front of you.

Artifact: Champion
Requirements – Abyssal Chain, Shadowflight
When you’re in the room with the giant fan, stand on one of the blades until it moves just past the control room. You should see a hole in the wall under the fan, this is where you need to jump. Use the grapple point to make sure you don’t die. Jump up the glide point, and grab the artifact. Also, since you’re here, put a portal on that Voidwalker panel.

Wrath Shard
Requirements – Voidwalker, Abyssal Chain, Shadowflight
When you’re coming from the main area of the Gallows, heading towards the giant fan area, take a left instead of a right as soon as you get in the tunnel. You should see a wall, with a Voidwalker panel on the ceiling. Shoot a portal up there, and then head to the giant fan area. Make your way to where you just found the artifact. Up here, you’ll see a panel on the ceiling. Shoot one here, jump up, and you’ll find yourself in front of a chest. You know what to do.

The Choking Grounds
Lifestone Shard
Requirement – Tremor Gauntlet
On the very next floor, you’ll find some smashable blue rock. Break it to find the chest and grab this shard.

Artifact: Champion
Requirement – Tremor Gauntlet
On your way from the Choking Grounds to the Broken Stair, you’ll find a couple of glide points, and some blue rock on the ground. Smash the rock and grab the artifact.

Drowned Pass
 Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
As you head into this area for the first time, just walk straight and jump into the lake. Now do a 180 and swim towards a small patch of land. The artifact is just sitting there.

Requirements – None
In the northernmost underwater building, you’ll see a door you can swim through. Follow the path up the stairs and you’ll find this artifact.

Lifestone Shard
Requirements – Crossblade
On the west side of the lake, across from the southernmost underwater building, you’ll see a small pass in the wall. Swim through here, and up the ramp. At the end, you’ll see the chest across the way and a platform in the water. Throw your crossblade at the platform, wait for it to rise, and make your way across to the chest.

Requirement – Tremor Gauntlet
In the northwest section of the map, you’ll find a tunnel underwater. Swim through here, head up the ramp, smash the blue rock, and collect the shard from the chest.

Lifestone Shard
Requirement – Abyssal Chain
In the northeast section of the map, near the Vulgrim point, you’ll see a grapple point with a chest on the other end. Grapple over and grab the shard.

Anvil’s Ford

Requirement – Tremor Gauntlet
As you exit Drowned pass, and head towards Anvil’s Pass, take a right as soon as you get in the sewers. You’ll see a blue rock formation. Smash it, and you’ll find the chest on the right side.

About halfway through your trek with Ulthane, you’ll fight two angels with big guns. After they’re dead, look around for some demon growth on the wall. Climb up to the second level, and find the next patch of demon growth. Climb down, and around the corner to find the chest.

Bring up your map. See that teeny little island all the way on the west side? You’re going to go there. Get over to that area, and you’ll see a grapple point. Grapple over to the island and grab your shard.

The Hollows
 Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
After solving the fire puzzle in the huge room with the flying bats, you’ll come to another room with a huge hole in the ground. Jump in the hole, swim down, and grab the artifact.

This one is easy. It’s in the room where you use the control to shut off the underwater fan. Piece of cake.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
In the room with the three platforms you have to raise, climb on the third one and you’ll spot this in a hole in the wall.

Lifestone Shard
Requirements – None
In the room where you light the two gas pipes (there’s also a blue door in this room, and a red rock formation) you’ll see two trains. Walk behind the trains and open the chest for the shard.

Artifact: Champion
Requirements – None
This is in the small room before the large circular room in the northeastish section of your map. The room has a gap in the middle, and two square platforms. Anyways, once you flood the giant circular room, the gap in this room will flood as well. Swim through it and find a hol in the north wall. On the ceiling is another hole, where this artifact is.

There’s a canyon-like room where you have to raise the water level to proceed. You should have the Hoardseeker by now and should see this on your map. Raise the water as high as it can go, and jump across the canyon to grab this.

The Dry Road
 Lifestone Shard
Requirements – None
As you’re heading down the main road when you first arrive at this area, you’ll notice a ledge on your left. Hop up on this ledge and follow it until you come to a chest.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
Stand on the main path, looking over the gap that leads to the Vulgrim location. Instead of jumping the gap, take a left and you should see the artifact hiding in plain sight.

Requirements – Tremor Gauntlet
After getting past the wire with the three hanging guys, climb through all the bomb growth and jump on the pipe. Come out of the pipe and you’ll be on the road that leads directly to the Ashlands. Do a 180 and you’ll see some blue rock. Use your Tremor Gauntlet to break it and grab the chest inside the small room.

Requirement – Abyssal Chain
In the area with the three hanging guys guarding the wire, if you look to your right before bothering with them, you’ll see some growth. Jump over here and use your grapple to grab it. Climb up to find a souls chest, and a grapple point. Use the grapple point to bring you to a wrath shard.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirement – Shadowflight, Abyssal Chain
Look on the east wall of your map, just north of the first tower. You’ll see a white area with a little nub sticking out on it. Walk through the sand until you find a glide spot, or use the grapple hooks from the upper ledge to get over there. Once on this platform, you’ll see some growth that you can climb to get to the artifact.

Requirement – Tremor Gauntlet
If you keep following your map north from the artifact you just got, you’ll see another nook sticking out. This shard is in a chest in this nook. Just stay on the ground level, and keep following the wall until you see the blue rocks. Smash and collect.

After stopping the first drill, jump down the hole to land in a giant lake. Swim straight down and you should see the artifact right under you.

Lifestone Shard
Requirements – Shadowflight
In the room with 7 or so hanging guys, you’ll see a platform that’s right next to where you need to exit. Hop up here, use the glide ball, and jump over to another platform to grab the chest.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
After getting Ruin back and fighting the giant worm, you’ll make your way through a tunnel fighting a crazy amount of dudes. Eventually you’ll come to a small pond that you have to swim through to progress further. Jump in, grab the artifact, and you’re golden.
Artifact: Overlord
Requirement – Abyssal Chain
To get this, you need to stop the forth drill. In order to do this, follow the same path you used to get to the top of the third drill. Once up here, you’ll see a grapple point. Grapple across to the forth drill and shut it down. Now jump in the hole it created, and you’ll be led to this artifact.

Iron Canopy

Requirements – None
After crossing the bridge that collapses on you, you go down a small alley. Keep your eye on the left side, as you’ll see some breakable wooden fences. Destroy the first one to get this shard.

In the room with the hanging guy and the movable block, make him drop the block, and grab one of its edges. When he lifts it back up, you should have no problem jumping to the rafters and grabbing this chest.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – None
Eventually you’ll end up in another small alley. This one has a broken fire escape. Climb as high as you can, and look towards the direction you came. You should see the artifact just sitting there, waiting for you to glide over and grab it.

Requirements – Abyssal Chain
After fighting the second spider mini-boss, proceed to the next room. You’ll see two doors here. Take the left and look up to find a red grapple point. Up here, you’ll find the artifact.

Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – Crossblade, Abyssal Chain
After fighting the boss, don’t rush out the door. Instead, you’ll see a platform that you can activate using your Crossblade and then grapple onto to ride up to the second floor. You’ll find a blue soul chest on one side and this artifact on the opposite side.

The Black Throne
 Second Tower

Requirement – Voidwalker
Make your way across the giant room with no floor until you’re completely on the exit side (north.) From here, facing the entrance (south), and look to the right (west.) You’ll see a little nook with a Voidwalker panel. Shoot a portal over there, and another in the wall nearest you. Jump in, teleport, and grab the chest.

Lifestone Shard
Requirement – Voidwalker
After doing the weight puzzle and opening the Beholder door, jump up the first glide point and start up the stairs. When you get to the first VW panel on the floor, turn around and look towards the ceiling to find another. Portal up there and find the chest with your shard.

Third Tower
Artifact: Soldier
Requirements – Shadowflight, Voidwalker
When you enter the first section to get to the third tower, you’ll see a Voidwalker panel on your left, and one on the ceiling straight ahead and rightish. You want to come out of the one on the ceiling and immediately glide to the platform where you can grab the artifact.

In the third tower, when you get to the room with the giant cylinder in the middle and the pool of water in the back, you’ll notice that at the bottom of the pool of water is this artifact.

Artifact: Champion
Requirements – Voidwalker
On your way back down from the third tower, you’ll end up back in the room with the platform in the middle, and a chronomancer in the back. On the side wall, you’ll see a glide point, use it to jump over and use the Voidwalker panels to make your way up. When you get to the top, keep going until you see a souls chest. From here, you have a good look at the top of the floating platform in the middle. Shoot a portal here and use it to propel yourself up into the ceiling to get this artifact.

While heading up the stairs on your way to commune with the tree, you’ll see a waterfall on your left. Jump into it, and you’ll land in a shallow pool. Head to the mini waterfall on your right and jump up it. There’s a chest with a wrath shard up here.

Serpent Holes

Requirements – None
From the start, just turn around and you’ll spot a path behind you that leads right to this chest.

To Anvil’s Ford:
Wrath Shard
Requirement – Abyssal Chain
Jump in a Serpent Hole and head towards Anvil’s Ford. Follow the first curving path around, and head up the stairs. While about halfway around the second curving path, look left and you’ll see a red grapple point in the air. Follow the grapple points over to a chest containing this shard.

To Twilight Cathedral
Lifestone Shard
Requirements – Shadowflight, Mask of Shadows
Follow the path all the way to the end. Instead of stepping on the exit, face it, and then look right. Activate your shadow mask and you’ll see a glide point. Hop into it and fly straight across into a newly formed path. Follow this to the end and you’ll find another glide point up to a chest. The shard is inside.
